It's nice to see a place that not only allows deadlifts, but has a platform and doesn't blink at chalk-use. Also, I love the mural on one of the main walls painted by a local artist. Very nice work. If I lived in DM, I would get a membership here.

Recently I have been going to Tai Chi with Lindsay and when I leave that class I just feel amazing. Meredith on Sunday Yin Yoga has a special gift in guiding you to a peaceful place. I love Sandra's Thursday shred as the time goes by so fast. Kandee Bishop is also amazing at keeping you energized and her format is great for bar class. I recently tried Aaron's for Root Hatha and can't wait to go back. The pool is beautiful and they take great care of it! The cafe is great and people are friendly and they have great service. Anson is very enthusiastic and motivating but more importantly, he sees each person individually and works to correct form when needed. As for community, Krave partners with a local non profit each season (Special Olympics, ARL, etc.) and members are encouraged to participate in an event supporting each non-profit. There are also challenges (just completed a six-week one) and occasionally a social event. To me, Krave is much more than just a gym!

Until that same evening--6 hours after I hung up--I received a generic recruitment call from Orangetheory Clive asking if I wanted to set up my free first class. I'm livid.
