Ordered: Small Iced Funfetti Latte (~$6): w French vanilla syrup, cold foam, and funfetti sprinkles on top Aya's take: First time at Mojo Coffee Company and decided to try a drink of their Signature Menu. The Iced Funfetti Latte is basically a dessert coffee drink. If that's what you're going for, this is a good one to get since they nailed it. It tastes just like a vanilla funfetti cake. It was too sweet for my liking, not super well-balanced, and I didn't care for the sprinkles on top. The syrup and cold foam ratio seems high for the size of the cup. Only the large iced cups have their cute logo on them; I wish they used it consistently across all their cups. If I come back, I'd get a classic latte or iced tea instead. Staff were friendly and service was super quick! read more

Just over two years since my last review and the good news is... Mojo is still brewing amazing coffee! I stop in on walks while in town and always love the specialty coffees of the month, the classic oat milk lattes (my go to) and the small selection of sweets. I also always take a peek at their gifts and goodies and always see something I want to grab for myself or a friend. Most recently it was their cuteeeee tote bags! I stopped myself because I am already swimming in totes, but I might have to make a trip back for one in the future. They allow pups, which is always so nice when I have my lil man with me, they have a good amount of seating, strong wifi and great coffee. There is literally nothing else you could want. Happy to have Mojo (and more than 1 loc) in Hoboken! read more

Mojo Coffee/Fundetti Iced Latte: Prior to exploring Washington St, I took minor detour to a cozy cafe on Bloomfield St for my cup of Joe. The first thing that popped into my mind was birthday cake! The coolness of the drink and slightly crunchy sprinkles brought out its best. Even the atmosphere was calm with enough chairs and tables to drink and relax. read more

This is Mojo Coffee Company's second Hoboken location, and it is, honestly, my favorite of the two. The cafe is much larger, with a quiet back room perfect for working, as well as a spacious front area with several tables and a bunch of outdoor seating. I also found that my standby almond milk cappuccino was much more bold and rich here. They also offer a breadth of interesting beverages like a Funfetti Iced Latte. Lastly, the service was very friendly and gracious. Given that this location offers a wide range of both seating and beverage options, I would highly recommend it for a coffee date with friends or a significant other, or even as a spot to get some work done, though the back space would be better for that purpose. read more

I have been here 3 times now since first trying it earlier this week!! I started with the Funfetti Latte which is as cute as it is delicious. It tastes almost like a Starbucks vanilla sweet cream cold brew. Definitely a sweet coffee so I recommend this if that's your preference. The past 2 days I have gone for the Key Lime Pie iced latte. Such a weird, unique flavor combination but it totally works. The cold foam on top reminds me of meringue. I usually go for oat milk as my dairy options, but I would be curious to try it with almond milk or actual dairy next time. The inside of the 8th street location is super cute and has little goods and cards available for purchase. Good seating options if you're not taking your coffee to-go. I will have to make a trip to the downtown location soon. read more

I'll start by stating that the staff are all super friendly and very helpful! The atmosphere is bright and welcoming - a great spot to catch up with friends or get some work done. When I went, they were out of regular syrup, so they had to substitute for the sugar-free kind. I got the funfetti latte, and it was good but not incredible. Not sure if the syrup would change the flavor that much since I never got to try the regular one to begin with, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I'd probably give this place another try if I'm ever in the area again read more

I looked for a coffee place to do my work and visited here due to the good review. The coffee is okay but the service was not what i would expect . The attitude of the female barista/cashier is terribly arrogant and was so rude. No wifi worked and so dirty seating table with sticky food. they really didn't clean the table for a long time. there are a lot of better alternatives in the town. The first time visit will be my last visit. Do not recommend here. It was the worst experience in a cafe in hoboken read more

Finally got the chance to stop in this second location of Mojo Coffee Company. Why did it take me so long? Loved the outdoor seating and inside had window seats with some tables and a room towards the back with traditional chairs and tables. My cortado with oat milk was delicious- perfect temperature and quite tasty. I also grabbed an almond croissant which was light, flaky and so good I might need to get another one later today! The staff was friendly and professional, and answered my first-timer questions with patience. Mojo is expanding and I can see why. The shop is cool with some space to also do work while enjoying your drink and snacks. Always greeted with a smile, you can tell a lot about a business when the employees are always happy to be there. I'm usually a basic coffee guy with a shot of espresso, but I wanted to try something different. I told the girl behind the counter to make me whatever she wanted . She suggested the funfetti latte wich I asked her to make a little less sweet. It was absolutely perfect and my new go.to in the mornings. We've frequented Mojo by Church Sq Park, so was pleased to see a second location open up closer to us, on 8th & Bloomfield. This location is so cute, and much more roomy with plentiful seating (both indoor and out). Coffee is as solid as ever - we stick with our "boring" usuals, but interesting latte options avail for the more adventurous: key lime, funfetti, blackberry mocha, and coconut joy! Not only…read moreare the desserts incredible, but the employees were so friendly and pleasant to deal with as well. The star of the show is, of course, the Merveilleux. It's made with light, airy meringue and whipped cream, then covered in chocolate shavings. It somehow manages to be rich and delicate at the same time. I can see why it's their signature dessert. They offer different flavors and sizes too, from mini versions to larger cakes that are perfect for sharing. One of the coolest parts of visiting is that the kitchen is completely open. You can watch the pastry chefs assembling these beautiful creations right in front of you. It's mesmerizing and makes the whole experience feel special. The bakery has roots in Northern France and Belgium, where the Merveilleux originated, but pastry chef Frédéric Vaucamps reinvented the classic recipe to make it lighter and more modern. Whatever he did worked because these pastries are unforgettable. A quick tip: cash only, so come prepared. Honestly, if you're anywhere nearby, I think you need to run there. Between the amazing desserts, the friendly staff, and the chance to watch everything being made fresh, it's one of the most enjoyable bakery experiences I've had in a long time. The chocolate and almond croissant was delicate, flaky, and exactly what a croissant should be. The shop itself is small, no indoor seating, but two benches out front! The staff was warm and the whole place smells incredible the moment you walk in. They even have their own merch! I give their coffee a 10/10.

Mojo never fails to deliver quality coffee and great service. They have the best cold brew in town (arguably the state) and their signature lattes (the funfetti should not be missed) are always delicious. 5 stars! read more

They have these as specials with cold brew but we decided to get it with espresso. Both drinks didn't quite hit the same this time. The lavender and blueberry flavors were both good, added some sweetness, and fruity/floral elements but for some reason, the latte didn't feel as cohesive. The staff were very friendly and offered to remake it if I didn't like it. I think the syrup wasn't strong enough or could've been better layered with the milk & espresso. Decent try!

I didn't feel like asking for it at the time but I will next time I come to try another iced latte with a different milk. Cookies and creme didn't really taste like it. I usually ask for less sweet and still taste the flavors elsewhere but here I didn't. I also don't love they still use almond breeze, barista blend almond milk tastes so much better--almond breeze milk just waters down coffee/lattes/etc doesn't really add to the beverage, kind of takes away from it. If you like to brew your own coffee and tea at home--this is your spot. They have a wide variety of coffee beans and tea offerings. Service was welcoming and quick. Prices are great for a large iced latte compared to the $8+ at surrounding coffee shops in Hoboken.
