He said he and his minion would return, the next morning. They arrived, dug, applied penetrating oil, and, almost-miraculously, un-seized the shutoff. My first experience with John was last July when I had a couple of major plumbing and sprinkler system issues. He resolved the issues beyond my expectations. Being able to get it done on a Fourth of July Weekend was unbelievable. After that experience I asked John if he would do some additional kitchen and bathroom remodel work for me, and he agreed to not only do the work but to manage the project since it included having an additional contractor involved. John oversaw the installation of a kitchen countertop, he removed the old countertop and installed all new kitchen appliances. He installed a new kitchen sink and garbage disposal, and had to re-plumb in order to do so. He updated one of our bathrooms to include a shower, and insulated the walls behind the shower. He oversaw the installation of all new interior doors and one exterior door. He had his crew touch-up all paint to match what was already there. He noticed things that needed done and asked me if I wanted him to take care of them. We are extremely happy with the quality of the work done on our house and appreciate John's attention to detail and taking the time to do it correctly, as if he was working on his own house. He communicated with us regularly on the project via texts and phone calls. If you are looking for a quick fix at a cheap price, John is not your man. John does exceptional quality work. He provides very detailed invoices. He does not take short cuts because he does not want come-backs and he does guarantee his work. We will definitely be using John to work on future projects and will keep him on speed dial for those unexpected emergencies.

This company ripped out my fence with no permission to access a shut off for a neighbor. The fence still has not been fixed and they just left it in pieces on the side of my yard. I was away at work getting ring alerts of people walking up and down my driveway and pulling apart my fence. To top it all off my pregnant wife came home to the water turned off. The company was closed and I had to have a neighbor come and turn my water main on while I was still at work. I've used this company twice and both times felt they overcharged for the material they used and the work was sloppy. Do your research plenty of other companies in the valley who do great work.

Our heater which is brand new, warranty until 2028, stopped working shortly after we purchased our home. Got a diagnosis from Bishop Heating and Air, but they had a long wait time for getting the part installed, so we went with Dean's. I relayed all info - already had a diagnosis, using our warranty which is good until 28', gas valve needs replacement, don't need Dean's to send someone to diagnose, we just need the part ordered and installed. They sent someone to diagnose, which I repeated again, that we did not need. After they got the part, tech comes and installs the gas valve and says "they don't usually change the shape of the part unless there was something wrong with it from the manufacturer" to which I respond, "well I'm happy it's covered by the warranty". Long story shorter.. They tried to charge us for the diagnostic appointment (which literally never happened, no one showed up, it was a phone call of me telling them we only needed an appointment to install the part). And they charged us for the $300 gas valve which I had repeated to two of their employees was warranty work. I explained the situation and had to argue my position. They took the service charge off for the appointment that never happened (which was written on the bill as if he had shown up), but insisted that I never told them about it being warranty work. I asked to speak with the owner multiple times, and asked that they have him call me. Never heard from him. We feel scammed. We recommend paying attention when businesses have an unusually high rate of bad reviews. We will not use Dean's again and we send anyone we know elsewhere.

I highly recommend Bill's Appliance and would call them first in the future. I worked in Information Technology for almost 40 years; people always ask me to fix their computers. While all computers are basically the same, they all have their idiosyncrasies. Sometimes it's difficult to determine the problem and it's always difficult to tell someone the bad news if the problem is significant. Two very polite and professional men arrived to diagnose the problem which I appreciate. One person supplied the tools to the other so that one person wasn't constantly getting up and down; made the job go more quickly. In my case, the problem was not simple to find and it was good that there were two technicians who could discuss possibilities. My dryer indicator lights suggested it was good to go, but would not start. The technicians methodically checked and tested each of the components from the most common issue to the less common. The common issues tested fine. When they went to test the control module, the on-board diagnostics would not work. They could have stopped there and said the control module was bad (this would have been easy for them and expensive for me), but instead they took the time to actually get to and inspect the control module. There was nothing obviously wrong with it (no leaky capacitors or burn marks). They reassembled the unit and I was prepared for them to tell me they would have to order a new module, but they gave the dryer one more test and it worked fine... there must have been some kind of a bad connection on the module. Regardless of the outcome, these folks did terrific, trustworthy work and I was glad I called them.

Robert, one of Bills co-owners came out to resolve a problem with my washer, and he arrived on time, and kept me updated. He called after he left and diagnosed the problem, pointing me in a new direction, as the problem isn't my washer. I can highly recommend Bills Appliance, and will continue to use them for my appliance repair in the future.
