It's taken me a while to write this, but I think people need to know the kind of people they are paying. This incident occurred in Mammoth Lakes at approximately 3:30 Monday, June 22, 2020 This company had a driver that sped through our neighborhood at over 40 mph. It's posted 25. He was yelled at by 3 people (one he almost hit who was on her bicycle) before violently hitting my beautiful cat, Milo. A forth person saw the impact and the name of the company on the truck that proceeded to speed up Old Mammoth without even slowing down or looking back. When I called the company, the secretary, Ashley said there were two drivers in town that day. Both told her they weren't speeding nor did they recall hitting a cat. She told me I needed to describe the driver and give her a license number on the truck. Also they have no record of the times the drivers go to their jobs. Upon this denial, I posted the action on social media where of course I got huge responses. Milo was a legend in our neighborhood and loved by many. This was posted after 3 days of struggling with having known this company for years and its drivers as well. Because they showed absolutely no remorse and complete denial (even upon having eye witnesses), I proceeded with the post. A couple of days later, the owner, Andy, reached out to me upset at my posting and requested I stop. No apologies. No admitting the driver hit my cat, just anger at my posting on social media. He called twice when I again reached out to him. Ashley answered and said he wasn't in the office. When I tried to get another number to contact him, I was told the office was the only place he could be reached, but yet on two occasions I was unable to reach him there. She informed me that he was upset about my postings and wanted me to stop. That didn't happen and they're cowardly driver NEVER, to this day has stepped up to apologize for killing my 7 yr old cat. This has been devastating to me and most likely would have eased a great deal of my pain had they showed even a tiny bit of compassion. A company with these kind of inconsiderate, uncaring, careless people driving and running it should be highly disregarded no matter what their work capabilities are. This could have been someone's child, and in fact, Milo was mine. He was my anchor, my strength, my heart and brutally run down without a thought. He was my hold while dealing with all the covid outbreak and still having to work. They tore him away from me and couldn't have cared less. You might ask around about their drivers before having them go speeding to your house to do the job and kill your pet or your neighbors without a thought. To this day I have not received an apology (I have to see these drivers all the time) or even an acknowledgement. Their lack of compassion and honesty should be given regard when hiring. It has a great reflection on this company. Honesty is huge when contracting a business. As anyone knows these attributes in a human follow through all they do in life, including their workmanship on their jobs.

Highly recommended. The owner Andy was so helpful when we had a little glitch with our radiant heat.

Poor office staffing, I won't be using them again... I like to rely on service providers with integrity and am very disappointed.

After interviewing approximately seven solar companies, reading reviews, comparing pricing,…read moreevaluating customer service, and reviewing BBB ratings, I ultimately chose SunMade Solar Energy to expand my existing solar system. One thing that stood out immediately was that their pricing was highly competitive with the other companies I considered. While pricing was important, what really set SunMade apart was that they hold both solar and roofing licenses. This gave me additional confidence because I previously had a bad experience with another solar company that damaged my roof, failed to fix the problem, and later went out of business, leaving me to pay for the repairs myself. Our sales representative, Jon Bernal, was professional, patient, and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and never made me feel rushed. There was one item that the system designer later clarified, and although it wasn't a major issue, Jon personally reached out to notify me of the changes. That level of integrity and accountability meant a lot to me and demonstrated that he genuinely cares about his customers. The installation crew was professional, arrived on time, kept the work area clean, and communicated well throughout the process. After installation, I noticed a section of concrete that had become uneven due to settling. I contacted SunMade, and they returned within days to correct the issue and followed up to ensure everything was satisfactory. That kind of customer service is becoming increasingly rare. The entire process moved efficiently. Our first meeting with Jon was on March 28, we signed on March 30, the system was installed on April 27, the meter collar was installed on May 13, and we received Permission to Operate about a week later. Jon also helped us identify and secure available rebates. I would also like to thank Tara in the office. When I needed copies of my contract documents, she provided them promptly and without hesitation. Another positive observation is that the owner, Oz, appears to be actively involved with the company and personally responds to customer reviews. I noticed this during my initial research and felt it reflected a company that values customer feedback and satisfaction. At the time of this review, SunMade Solar Energy held an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. Based on my experience, they delivered competitive pricing, excellent communication, professional workmanship, and outstanding customer service. I would not hesitate to recommend SunMade Solar Energy to anyone considering solar for their home.

After the install, I can see why. Duane W was my rep and walked us through the whole process and just made it easy. I think if you've been on the fence with going forward with solar, definitely look into SunMade. You can tell they take pride in their work and give quality attention to detail. Thanks!

That changed when our neighbour installed solar and suggested we speak with Supreme Solar. I gave them a call, and shortly after, Dave Dickinson returned my message. From the very first conversation, Dave was incredibly patient and took the time to walk us through his ideas for our home. His proposal included not only the solar system but also an upgraded electrical panel, an EV charging station, and a new roof. Because we rent our home out, making sure everything was done properly and efficiently was very important to us. Dave brought Mohamed Kastiro into the discussions, and Mohamed provided detailed drawings showing the proposed panel layout. We made a few tweaks along the way, and at no point did we ever feel like we were bothering them. In fact, the entire team made us feel welcome and supported throughout the process. The installation itself was fantastic. Every step of the project was clearly communicated, timelines were respected, and when the crew said they would arrive at a certain time, they did. That level of reliability is rare these days. We also have to mention Samantha Lee in the office. Sam was amazing--always following up, keeping us informed, and making sure everything stayed on track. We are currently awaiting final approval from Southern California Edison, and as of today's update, everything appears to be in order. Our neighbours were so impressed with the process and the installation that they have now contracted Supreme Solar to complete the same project for their home. If you are considering solar, do yourself a favour and contact Supreme Solar. On a scale of 1 to 10, they are an 11.

Hello, I want to share my experience with Nova West Energy. While I was in the market to add a…read moresolar system to work alongside my existing one, I interviewed about seven different companies. I took my time researching, reading reviews, evaluating customer service, and even checking the Better Business Bureau. After all of that, I narrowed it down to two companies, Nova Energy and another local company in Fresno.Ultimately, I chose the other company because they hold a roofing license as well. This was very important to me due to a previous bad experience with SolarCity damaging my roof and not fixing it. I ended up fixing it out of pocket. That being said, Nova Energy truly stood out. Justin took the time to thoroughly educate me and presented a very well-designed system tailored to my needs. Honestly, I would have gone with them if it weren't for my prior experience and specific concerns. What impressed me most is that they genuinely care about their customers. Even knowing I was comparing multiple companies, they were patient, transparent, and focused on making sure I understood exactly what I needed for my home. Even after I told Justin I had decided to go with another company, he still took the time to make sure I was fully informed. He reviewed key details with me such as solar panel quality, system performance stats, degradation rates, and the difference between kW and kWh, just to ensure I was making the best decision for my home. That level of professionalism and integrity really stood out. In today's world, many companies treat business as just a transaction, sell a product and move on. Nova Energy is different. They take the time to understand your needs, educate you, and guide you without pressure. Their approach is honest, professional, and customer centered. Their pricing is very competitive, and they don't try to oversell. Instead, they explain your actual energy usage and make sure you don't overproduce unnecessarily. That level of integrity is rare. They also have excellent reviews, offer a strong 25-year roof warranty, and clearly stand behind their work. Even though they didn't end up installing my system, I believe my hesitation around roofing, despite them having a 25 roofing policy, was more related to my previous negative experience and my need for extra reassurance. If anything, if you are in the market for a solar system, I strongly recommend giving Justin a call. He is honest in his evaluation, does not try to oversell, and takes the time to answer every question you may have.

Around March of 2026 my wife and I got really frustrated with how high our true up bill was getting. We had no explanation. I called a friend of mine (who used to own a solar company but now retired) and asked for some recommendations. He recommended 3 companies, one that claims to 'negotiate', one I don't remember the name of, and NovaWest. I didn't know what to expect but I knew that I wanted 2 things, I wanted to purchase my system, and I wanted someone to be able to take over maintenance and the warranty on our existing panels. Side note: We live in Riverstone, and all new housing requires solar panels, so we purchased instead of leased what we were required to purchase. Within 6 months of moving in, the company that was providing the solar panels went bankrupt. So now we have no way of monitoring or contacting anyone if we think something is wrong. I first called someone to 'negotiate' with. They proposed and focused more on a 'Power Purchase Agreement' rather than focusing on the panels. I will never lease, or get into a PPA again no matter what after a prior experience with my old house and trying to sell it to move into Riverstone. I'll spare you the details but I will only purchase, no matter what. With this in mind, the conversation quickly turned to convincing me of the benefits of the PPA rather than how they will help with the old system and provide me the best solar system for the most reasonable price. When I absolutely indicated that I will not do a PPA the rep stopped negotiations and ghosted me. Same thing happened with the second company. Accept they didn't ghost me, they just couldn't get me a reasonable system without a PPA. At this point, I didn't have much hope or confidence of getting a new solar system and getting my old 'legacy' system up and running correctly and optimized. Then I called the last recommendation, Nova West, and got on the phone with their sales rep Justin Douglass. When I called I was already defeated, frustrated, and didn't have much hope so my approach was completely different. In that first conversation I told Justin something to the effect of "I don't know if you can help me, I want to purchase solar panels, I don't want to lease, I've talked to 2 different companies and that's all they care about is the lease and not actually helping me. I don't want to waste your time, if you're the same and have to push the lease just tell me now and I'll move on." Justin's response was something to the effect of "I hear you, I can't believe that's been your experience so far, I would love to give you a quote for a purchase if you don't mind. You're the boss and if you don't want to lease or do a PPA, no problem, let's see what we can do." And Justin held true to that. From the very first meeting he came with a quote to purchase (which by the way was even more reasonable than the so called PPA agreements I was presented with. In other words, these so called lease PPA agreements are supposed to save me money and I ended up owning for less than these other companies presentations). He analyzed what I needed, and then gave me options, and then we actually truly negotiated a purchase price that I was happy with. On top of that, they offered to commission the old system. This in itself was HUGE!!!! You see, in installing the new system, they discovered that the contractor that worked with the homebuilder of the old system installed the first system incorrectly. There's a box where some major wiring runs through aside from the circuit breaker box. One of these connections was loose and arched and completely fried that box. My only 1.5 year old panels had not been producing for like what ended up being close to 6 months. I would not have known this, and probably would have never had a way to fix this had I not found a solar company that I trusted (Nova West) and a sales rep that earned that trust (Justin Douglass). Nova West, took their time installing the new system, answered all my questions, and Justin Douglass has spent numerous hours helping me in the entire process. And it's a process, that involves many steps, including working with the monitoring company that allows you to track what your panels are doing. I purchased an Enphase system, and after everything was installed, Justin and I contacted Enphase to get everything up and running and spent about an hour on the phone getting everything producing, reading, and tracking correctly on the legacy system and the new system and now both systems are working together in a productive way. I can't wait to get my first bill and see the impact. Justin and Nova West heard my concerns, understood my frustrations, didn't argue or try to convince me to do something I did not want to do. To put it bluntly, before calling Nova West, I had complet
