I came here with my husband so we could both get pedicures. They were each $30, and we got a $2 charge for customization, though nothing was customized so I'm not really sure what that was for. My husband didn't get any nail polish, but I don't think that should have gotten an upcharge, seeing as it was less work. I had Holly, and she was really thorough. I would ask for her if I went back. Over an hour late to my appointment. Holly kept trying to upsell me every 5 minutes when I wanted a normal gel manicure. She then convinced me to do hard gel for $55 total and then when I went to pay it was actually $65. She said I must have not heard her because she was "wearing a mask". Overall the appt took 2 hours just for a gel manicure and I had to ask for lotion, and to cut my cuticles. Otherwise they wouldn't have done it because they were rushing to get me out of there. Went here for a basic white gel mani last week. 7 days later the polish was peeling/chipping. I don't do strenuous work with my hands. I called them to give them an opportunity to correct the issue, they callously told me they only have a 5 day policy to fix nails and that I should have contacted them earlier. After advocating for myself and insisting, they re manicured my nails but as you can see (pink polish) that's also peeling just ONE day later. Complete joke. read more

I came in on Saturday 11/29/25 for both a manicure and pedicure. Andy did my manicure and he did very poor work. First, HIS HANDS WERE COMPLETELY GROSS, every one of his fingernails had dirt underneath, a lot of dirt. Also, he apparently has little to no experience as a nail technician or just can't do the specialty types of applications. I asked for and paid for cat-eye gel nail polish, which is magnetic nail polish that requires the technician to use magnets after application to manipulate the metallic particles suspended in the wet polish to create a light-reflecting band or pattern. What he did appears as just glitter polish. Additionally, I asked for square-shaped nails with slightly soft corners. Several of my nails are unevenly filed and during the manicure Andy filed my skin several times, which was quite painful. Additionally, he did not clean up the mistakes he made when he painted the nail polish onto my skin and cuticles, which is normally done. That all being said, the woman who did my pedicure, Holly, did a fine job. It was just a basic gel pedicure and looks good. I suggest that the salon not use Andy until they teach him basic personal hygiene and send him for remedial training. At this point, he should not be doing this job without those two things and proper supervision. read more

First off, the scheduling process is amazing and I've never had a nail salon so good at scheduling and managing appt bookings (ie. hardly any wait when you get there). Came in for a mani pedi. They were professional, not warm, but behind. I had to return 1/2 hour later even tho I made an appointment. For years I have used Dazzle Dry nail polish because it lasts as long as gel. I was glad to see they had it even if it was a limited selection. The manicure and pedicure were ok. Massage chair was very good. She was aggressive with pushing back the cuticles and barely used any softener. The pedi was ok. The mani was weird. The polish kept pooling at the end of the nail when she was applying it. she had to redo 3 nails and I only got one coat of color and barely a top coat. There was a very challenging language barrier. Normally I can work around that like it's no big deal but this was harder. 2 nails and one toe had chipped by the next day and 1 day later another chipped and one peeled off completely. I am pretty sure they thinned out the polish. I have never seen the polish pool at the top of the nail. You always have to pay extra for it. Maybe their gel etc is better but it is too harsh for me. Will not go back there. Vibe is basic. read more

I came here recently and had a gel nail remover and gel refill. This is one of those overscheduled nail salons where the person checking you in and the person removing your old gel nails to the final nail technician are all 3 different people. My main nail technician was a male technician. He really messed up my nails. He kept filing down and when the initial nail remover didn't work, he applied a different layer which I think made my nails feel super sensitive after. He kept snickering that I was too sensitive (which obviously didn't help). Anyway the nail painting was not neat (see pictures). The nail lady boss kept saying it was a nice colour as if waiting for me to compliment the service but honestly, I felt that I had gone too far into the service to run. What was concerning was while I was having my nails done, several other customers were complaining and the lady boss had to fix their issues personally. I also waited for a long time till it was my turn (over scheduled place typically). It's the day after, and I noticed my nails are too soft that it bends with every slight tug. I've been doing gel nails for so many years. There's only a few times, when I meet bad skills, that I get this soft nails problem. Now I guess im back on the road to recovery for my messed up nail health... Hope this will help other fussy nail lovers. But this is an honest review at least. . read more

It's run by two sisters, Daisy and Spring, who really care about their clients and their work. Parking is difficult, but you can park behind the building (free) or on the street (meter). I had an appt at 5:30 and was sat immediately. T did my pedi, which was amazing!! Massage was INCREDIBLE. He asked questions the whole time to make sure I was happy with it. Daisy did my nails and did a great job! Total was $117 for gel-x and gel on my toes. If you're new to LA, THAT'S FANTASTIC!! They prefer cash, which I will definitely bring next time. Unfortunately this place gets 3 stars.. my manicure turned out fine, but the experience I had with Nina the nail tech was mediocre. I was pretty excited as I love their sister location and the nail techs there, but for once my nail tech at SPRING was unavailable so I decided to give this location a shot. At the beginning of my service, Nina pointed out I had hard gel nails on instead of regular. To be honest I really didn't realize I got hard gel from my last appointment... and she scoffed and shook her head at my lack of knowledge of my own nails. Despite asking for regular gel repeatedly, she insisted on continuing with hard gel. I finally got through to her to do regular gel when I chose my nail color and she decided to pick a different color without even bringing the one I originally asked for. I asked her to get the color I actually wanted and she said hers was better. The color was not remotely close to what I wanted. During the manicure she was dismissive to my requests and rough, pulling my arm at times and muttering to herself when I asked politely for things. Very sad that it was such a disappointing experience... I came here for relaxation and to treat myself and instead felt unwelcome for no reason. I really hope the other nail techs are better but MOI Nails, please have a talk with Nina. And please implement more of what you've been doing at your SPRING location, they seem like two totally different shops!! read more

The young lady who did my nails rushed my nails. I told her my nails were separating from the acrylic and she did nothing about it but put super glue. I've been to good nail shops and they usually chip away the old acrylic and put a new layer. She did none of that and now my nails are breaking and separating from the acrylic. Which was good and bad. The good: quieter in the salon, no wait for a chair The bad: took some time for everyone to get set up, and felt like they rushed my appointment a little to get me done as people came in This is a place where many of the techs do not speak a ton of English, so occasionally it's a little confusing/hard to communicate what you want, but generally they are very kind and skilled. They do sometimes push extras that you may or may not need/want, and can feel rushed at times as well. My second visit I had much better mail shaping/less rushed work on the mail art, which was nice. I got a gel mani and pedi with nail art, and loved the results so much I came back to get them done again. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place if you like nail art! They are also quite quick compared to some other places, and my nails have lasted for weeks both times I came in. They don't do a lot of cuticle work/nail care, so if that's something important to you you may want to go elsewhere. read more

SHORT STORY: They're decent for gel-x manicures. They're bad for dip power manicures. Daisy is a nice lady, but Jessica either hates her job or hates her customers or both. LONG STORY: I've come here for a gel-x manicure, and another time for a dip manicure. The gel-x manicure that Quinn did was fine, however the nails were uneven so I had to go home and file them down a bit. I got a dip manicure a different day by a nice manicurist with glasses, I didn't get her name. Unfortunately, my thumb nail fell off in just 6 days, and my pointer finger nail fell off after 9 days. The only reason I got a dip manicure was because I've read that they last 3-4 weeks. I even have a friend who has had hers last 6 weeks! I couldn't come back to get them fixed because I was away on a two week honeymoon trip, so I had to deal with my uneven nails for the rest of the trip. (Champagne problems, I know.) I returned from my trip and made an appointment with the salon to let them know what happened. I first talked to Jessica and she seemed completely unbothered by my calm complaint. She finally sat me down at the table and asked me what my issue was again, and after I explained to her what happened, all she said was "you should just use hard gel next." She really didn't care about the issue at all. I spent $55+$10 tip for a dip manicure that didn't even last me a week, and this was the response I get? I was quietly fuming. I would've appreciated an offer for a discounted manicure, and some sort of explanation for the situation, instead of just telling me to purchase a different, more expensive service. Daisy came around because she overheard my complaint and she sweetly tried to explain why the dip manicure didn't last on my nails - possibly because my nails were too small. I thanked her for caring and taking the time to explain something to me. However, I won't be returning. Also, I strongly disliked Jessica's attitude, that reason alone is enough for me to avoid coming back. read more

I went here for my first time ever I got my nails done, and brought my own polish A couple days later, I panicked when I could not find my polish at home! After looking everywhere ( or so it seemed), My polish was nowhere to be found. So I figured, I must had left it at the nail studio . So I called and asked if anything had been found, and they said they searched the station and the shelves, and did not find anything. I insisted it "had to" be there somewhere". They said they'd go back and check the camera footage (I didn't believe them). Sure enough, they got back to me within minutes, having sent me a screenshot of them handing it back to me. I thought I was losing my mind, and a few miinutes after, I happened to stumble upon it at home! Silly me, I bad bugged these poor ladies with multiple calls and texts, Insisting it was there, but I was wrong. Bottom line, I was super impressed and so appreciative, of these busy ladies taking time and going the extra mile to try and find it, after my bugging them like a crazy person ..Excellent customer service. While I was getting my pedicure I felt so relaxed, calm and comfortable. I forgot the name of my pedicure technician but she was amazing. My nail tech T did an amazing job! He listen to my request in length and hand filed my nails to the length I was looking for. He was very attentive to the details in the nail design I asked for, all while we had a very nice conversation. My massage chair didn't work. Found out after i got seated and settled. I was looking forward to the massage chair while i get my pedi like the usual. No wifi available. And the next door is having construction so you hear the drilling right in front of you. It was really disabling in many diff ways. Just wanted to get a simple pedi and relax. There was no way to communicate with my tech what i wanted so 2 other staff came. One of them decided for me what i should get. I was over it so i just went with it. Lol. This communication system at this shop is nonexistent. There were 3 staff in front of me at one point and it was just a simple gel pedi and maybe with chrome. I just wanted the gel and be done with it. I went in the shop thinking it was going to be therapeutic but it was more stressful. $60 for a simple basic gel pedi and my slippers were just shoved when i was done. No foam slippers. No discounts. So different than all the other nail shops that i paid the same or less. Not dying to go back. This was my experience. read more
