She responded quickly with a fair price, and I made two trips to her shop during the week (business hours are 9-5, so not easy) to borrow swatches for fabric selection. She wrote down the fabric I chose, said she would get to it in a few weeks, and then I never heard back. I contacted the shop (left a message), no response. After a total of more than THREE MONTHS from first contacting her, I asked her if she would be able to get to it and this is the response she texted me: "You can look for someone else I won't be able to get to it and I can't find a slip with fabric info and name. Sorry". WOW. I was fine with waiting to get it done, but to be blown off like that is really rude. Don't waste your time with this one. I will post another review with pics after I have time to find a good upholsterer.

How many times should you need to leave a message for a business without them calling back? It's an…read moreupstate New York disease. Call back when a customer reaches out to you. Even if your so busy you can't take on their work. Not responding makes them think you're not very good to begin with.
