I dropped the piece off on 6/20. Mind you I live two and a half hours away and drove to him because this project was important to me. He told me he was running a three week turn around and I explicitly said I would be moving 7/22 many times. This was never discussed to be an issue. By July I had heard no updates and reached out multiple times for communication with no reply. On 7/8 I got word from the wood refinisher he subcontracts with that she had not received the piece and could not complete her end on time. At which time I tried many times to contact mad river only to find out they were on a two week vacation which was never communicated to me. At this point NO WORK had even been started! And there had been absolutely ZERO communication from Mad River Upholstery. So after having my piece for a month I picked it back up (again driving two and a half hours) and they had done absolutely nothing. No communication, no professionalism, no time management. Disappointed is an understatement. All he did was waste my valuable time. This business is poorly run and he should be embarrassed. Do not trust anything valuable with this company!

Deb completely replaced the brown suede cloth and the filling, and meticulously cleaned the legs and the smelly interior of the back. The chair looks like new.
