UPDATE: Horrible experience with Doctor Bonynge. I'd give negative stars if I could. Took me a few…read moreweeks to get my original appt. I finally got in, we sat down &went through everything, I wasn't super comfortable, but I figured I would go ahead and get the epidural shot anyway because I was in excruciating pain & needed it. To get a little personal, I have anxiety when it comes to any medical procedures and I made the doctors aware of the situation so they suggested I get sedation. A week and a half later I finally get in to have my shot done. It was hotter than Hades in that office & was even hotter once you got back in the patient area. The bed they put me in was baking in the sun. It had to be nearly 80° and then they put a warm blanket on me. I sit down and my anxiety rampant. My blood pressure was high. My heart rate was high, and I had a Slightly elevated temperature, which are all symptoms of anxiety. They took my vitals every five minutes in a crowded room with constant beeping a blood pressure cuff going off every minute and then constantly telling me to calm down. As the timer went off every five minutes, I anxiety got worse. My Elevated temperature did go down to 99.4. And if you read the CDC says a fever is considered anything over 100.4. The doctor, then rudely comes over and tells me he cannot continue with the procedure because I must have some sort of infection. And then told me it was not possible to have an elevated temperature from anxiety. I've experienced this numerous times before I have been told by different doctors that it is completely possible to have an elevated temperature due to my anxiety, and I have read numerous studies from medical journals as well as information from the CDC that very clearly states heightened anxiety can cause an increase in temperature. When I explain this, he basically told me I was crazy. It wasn't possible. I have an infection. I have to go home. The minute I get home I take my temperature and it is a cool 98.7°. Just like I said no fever no infection it was caused by my anxiety. I called the office afterwards and ask them if I could reschedule my procedure but with a different doctor and she told me it was against policy and they wouldn't let me do so. After complaining she said she would talk to her supervisor and get back to me by the end of the day or at least the next morning at the latest. No call yet. Unprofessional, beyond ridiculous and I would say never come here and never see this doctor again I'm a little worried that he doesn't know that any of that is actually possible. Makes you wonder what else this doctor doesn't know. Here's a couple articles to enlighten you. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4843908/. https://www.health.com/mind-body/can-stress-cause-fever So after all of this mess and administrator calls me and tells me they will definitely give me a new doctor. They can even move me to a different clinic to have the procedure done and she's gonna see what she can do to get everything expedited and call me back and give her a day or two. Well, it's now been a week and she hasn't called me back clearly they don't care about their patients. I'm going to make sure I file complaints wherever I possibly can't about this place.

The medical assistant required us as family to hold up the very elderly (95+} patient from a wheelchair 2 weeks after surgery while she yanked out 24 staples from the leg and hip area. There was some inflammation so she left in the middle of the extraction to find a nurse, while we stood holding up the patient. About 10 minutes later she returned. The nurse opened the door half way as our family member was held up by us in underwear and other patients and staff passed by the doorway. Really? She indicated an antibiotic was needed. After staples were extracted the medical assistant announced an x-ray was needed and if we thought the patient would be unable to maneuver alone we should come with to the x-ray room to help. Wow - very surprised at this requirement and the indifference shown. Medical assistant just stood by while we assisted for w-ray. Beyond surprised. Another 15 minutes before the Dr came in. Very cavalier and clearly had no clue who the patient was and any related information we needed from him for the antibiotic and further treatment plan in rehab and thereafter. He couldn't get out fast enough. Fundamental issue was not a shred of real care or concern. People mill. The prescription for antibiotics wasn't sent to the place we specified so took another day to track down where they sent it and have it redirected. All on us and the practice didn't help at all. Unfortunately have to go back for another checkup with this Dr and practice. At least our expectations of long wait times and dispassionate staff is known.
