Dr. is fine, staff is criminally unresponsive. My wife has been calling to get post-op pain meds refilled for days, more than 15 calls, and no one in the office will respond, answer, or send a refill. Absolutely horrendous experience with the staff, he needs more people, or competent ones. Three weeks later, and the staff continues to ignore calls, not bother sending refills on medication, and not return calls - even when dozens of messages are left. This has been a master class in how to not treat a patient. If you want to communicate with your doctor's office, this is not a good choice. read more

I started having knee issues at 28. By 44, I could barely walk up the steps. Went to a knee doctor in Tinley Park that confirmed both knees were bone on bone. However, the doctor said he would just give me pain pills cuz knee replacements last 30 years so he wanted me to wait til I was 50. At 45, I just couldn't take it anymore. Ram was referred to me by a friend. I cannot say enough good things about this doctor. He, literally, gave me my life back. He listened!!! Unfortunately for me, I have had to use Dr. Aribindi for two different problems and he has been a great doctor both times. First issue much more mundane, tall guy has bad knees, not too surprising. He used various methods including prescribing physical therapy which gave me relief. Second set of visits much more painful, tall guy falls on ice and breaks his ankle. Yeah, it hurts and it's as annoying as hell. The cast itches, I can't walk on it and it's hard to sleep. The only good thing has been Dr. Aribindi who saw me late on the first day and who really listened to me on my follow up appointment and changed the cast situation. Dr. Aribindi performed a total hip replacement surgery on me. Before the surgery he was very kind, informative and easy to talk to. He answered all of my questions. The surgery went very well and I was up and walking the same day. I had experienced hardly any pain at all and I went home that day. I have been on a walker for two weeks and now I have graduated to a cane. Pretty soon I'll be walking on my own. I'm so glad that I went ahead and had the surgery. FYI, I'm a 71 year old female. 10/26/16 UPDATE -- I received a second opinion and it turns out I don't have arthritis as Dr. Aribindi claimed during our extremely brief encounter. At the time I suspected that Dr. Aribindi probably didn't even look at the films (MRI) I provided him and now I'm even more convinced of it. He didn't even have me bring the x-rays with me so that he could take a look at them. The other orthopedic physician I just saw looked at both my x-rays and MRI. He read all the reports carefully that accompanied the images and spoke with me at length (45 min plus). After a thorough examination he determined that I have patellofemoral pain syndrome. He took his time explaining exactly what patellofemoral pain syndrome is, how I may have injured myself, treatment options and prognosis. Thank goodness I didn't settle for Dr. Aribindi's erroneous medical opinion. My advice is to take charge of your own medical care. Don't simply settle for any physician that your PCP refers you too. Do your own homework. Use Google and read patient reviews from multiple websites: Vitals, WebMD, HealthGrades, etc. Being a doctor is a privilege that isn't simply earned upon the completion of medical school. It's earned when that doctor gains the trust, respect and loyalty of his or her patients by providing consistent competent care. read more

Dr. Aribindi performed a left hip replacement on me in February . My recovery has gone well and I have not encountered any problems. Most people are shocked at how well I have recovered. I have followed all the doctors instructions and walk everyday sometimes twice per day. The office is clean but very busy on every visit. I may eventually need my right hip replaced and I most certainly will be using Dr. Aribindi . My only recommendation would be that the front desk staff be more friendly and professional. I needed a hip replacement so not having a surgeon that was recommended to me, I let my fingers do the walking and found Dr. Aribindi on line. I did my research on him and found that he was at the top of his game and a highly rated physician. In February of 2015, I had my right hip replaced and I was up and walking around after approx. 45 days. I was delighted. On June 29, 2021, six years later, I had my left hip replaced by Dr. Aribindi. Today is August 21, 2021 and, I went to the supermarket and after getting there I discovered I left my cane at home. My husband and I met Dr. Aribindi at South Suburban Hospital. My husband was admitted to the hospital after sustaining a head and ankle injury at his job. The first morning we still had no idea what to expect. Dr. Aribindi talked me in the hall on that first morning regarding my husband's ankle injury. I liked Dr. Aribindi's bedside manner and thought that my husband should see him at his Orthopedic practice after his release. When I asked for his card, Dr. Aribindi did not have one on him, but he took the time to write his office information on a note pad. He did not have to do that. Dr. Aribindi and his office staff made this awful ordeal very pleasant. His staff was very helpful and accommodating when scheduling appointments. We were put at ease by how easy they made everything. Dr. Aribindi's office is about an hour from our house and my husband was cleared to see which ever orthopedic doctor he wanted. I was impressed by how nice Dr. Aribindi was to us and how knowledgeable he was about my husband's case. We have dealt with many orthopedic doctors over the years and Dr. Aribindi has been one of the best, he is clear, to the point, and he cares about his patients. read more

I had shoulder surgery by Dr Aribindi in July, he is a great Doctor. At every appointment he spent time to explain everything and answer all my questions. After care by the Doctor was also great, again spent time to answer all questions and listen to me. His staff is also very nice and attentive. i'm a middle aged woman with lots of miles put on her knee's! i went to Dr. Aribindi to find the cause of my knee pain. he ordered an ex ray upon my first visit. after looking at the ex ray, he gave me the injection that actually seemed to work but for a short while. he then ordered an MRI. it showed a torn meniscus and he scheduled surgery in a timely manner. he took the time to explain to me what he would be doing and went as far as stating, it would be a temporary fix since i had bad arthritis on the knee. the surgery went very well! in fact, my 21 year old daughter was with me and he took the time to explain the whole process to her while i was in the recovery room. the personal attention meant a lot to me. He really doesn't seem very concerned. He is arrogant beyond belief! I went for knee pain which I have had for a few years. An x-ray was taken but he did not show it to me or explain it and only said I had arthritis. He recommended pt but I had already been on it for 6 weeks. He spent at most 5 minutes with me. Later, I purchased a disk of the x-rays and took them to another doctor. That doctor took an x-ray of the other knee and showed me a comparison of the two. The right knee, the one I went to Dr Aribindi about, is 90% shot and I will eventually require a replacement. In the meantime, I was given Synvisc injections in both knees. I have had similar shots over the last 4 years. They have helped immensely. This new doctor spent time with me explaining the knee issues and gave me some alternatives. I would never return nor recommend Dr. Aribindi. I wasted a lot of time and money with him. read more
