I finally got in, we sat down &went through everything, I wasn't super comfortable, but I figured I would go ahead and get the epidural shot anyway because I was in excruciating pain & needed it. To get a little personal, I have anxiety when it comes to any medical procedures and I made the doctors aware of the situation so they suggested I get sedation. A week and a half later I finally get in to have my shot done. It was hotter than Hades in that office & was even hotter once you got back in the patient area. The bed they put me in was baking in the sun. It had to be nearly 80° and then they put a warm blanket on me. I sit down and my anxiety rampant. My blood pressure was high. My heart rate was high, and I had a Slightly elevated temperature, which are all symptoms of anxiety. They took my vitals every five minutes in a crowded room with constant beeping a blood pressure cuff going off every minute and then constantly telling me to calm down. As the timer went off every five minutes, I anxiety got worse. My Elevated temperature did go down to 99.4. And if you read the CDC says a fever is considered anything over 100.4. The doctor, then rudely comes over and tells me he cannot continue with the procedure because I must have some sort of infection. And then told me it was not possible to have an elevated temperature from anxiety. I've experienced this numerous times before I have been told by different doctors that it is completely possible to have an elevated temperature due to my anxiety, and I have read numerous studies from medical journals as well as information from the CDC that very clearly states heightened anxiety can cause an increase in temperature. When I explain this, he basically told me I was crazy. It wasn't possible. I have an infection. I have to go home. The minute I get home I take my temperature and it is a cool 98.7°. Just like I said no fever no infection it was caused by my anxiety. I called the office afterwards and ask them if I could reschedule my procedure but with a different doctor and she told me it was against policy and they wouldn't let me do so. After complaining she said she would talk to her supervisor and get back to me by the end of the day or at least the next morning at the latest. No call yet. Unprofessional, beyond ridiculous and I would say never come here and never see this doctor again I'm a little worried that he doesn't know that any of that is actually possible. Makes you wonder what else this doctor doesn't know. She said going through the lobby is quicker, but they should not be taking patients in gowns through there! The mammogram tech and radiologist were fantastic and the surgeon was also great! I was there a total of 7 hours when I was told it would be 5. Two procedures were done though and tHings run slow here, but they are thorough! I recommend it for outpatient care!

No follow up, no "hey we have your MRI results and this is what they show", no emails, no calls/voicemails, not even a letter. Nothing. Pinnacle ghosted me. The lack of follow up and being all around a caring and professional healthcare organization is not the reason for the single star rating however. The rating comes from the fact that nobody got back to me, yet I OWED THEM MONEY. I paid my copay, and thought that was it. Next thing I know, I have a collections agency calling me about a debt stemming from my visit here at pinnacle. Had absolutely no knowledge of it. And when I called, I got a woman with a nasty attitude basically telling me I'm an idiot because they always send out PAPER MAIL about money owed. So not only did I not get a letter at all, but in 2025, you can't CALL ME OR EMAIL ME WHEN YOU HAVE MY INFO?? This came at the perfect time too, because I was just recently laid off from work. So now my credit will take a hit because I NOW don't have the $300 I could've paid off months ago Nice place inside, but absolute trash. Would never recommend. He called me that evening vs. sending an email, we reviewed her medical condition and I was so pleased with our conversation and the information he provided that she was in his office a few days later. She developed arthritis which has been chronic for many years after her surgeries. Dr. Durnin helps her manage the pain by keeping full movement of her shoulders preventing frozen shoulder. Don't get me wrong, she still has lot's of pain, but without without his expertise with elderly patients my Mom would be in a wheelchair, in more pain then she is - Mom is moving around pretty well, and still driving. However, a lady came in and sat right next to me. We chatted for about 30 minutes about different things. She told me that she was there to see Dr. Kendall. At about 11:15, someone came out and called her. At this point, I've been there for nearly 90 minutes! And why is this lady being called before me? So, I get up and I wait behind a lady checking in. Someone walks up and nicely asked if I was checking in. I said I want to make sure you all did not forget about me and her response was that there were only 2 doctors there. This has nothing to do with why people who walked in after me are being called back before me. So, I sat down, made an appt for 11:45 at an Orthopedic doctor down the street. I walked out, made it to my appointment at 11:40 and was almost immediately whisked away for an x-ray. I saw a doctor and was out of there within 45 minutes. So, I wasted a $55 copay at an office that did not provide me any services. I don't know if existing patients have priority over new patients at this office, but this should have been explained when I made the appointment. I called earlier to make sure I didn't need a driver and was told that I didn't need one. About 5 minutes before getting to the office I noticed that I missed 2 calls less then an hour before my appointment. I DO need a driver! Not cool! So I had to formulate a last minute ride to come and pick me and my car up. I ended up having to wait an hour for my husband to come. The staff apologized so much. I'm not going to dock them a star or anything. Mistakes happen and you could tell that the person that called me felt so bad. I was very concerned and nervous about getting the shots but the Doctor and the Nurse were very comforting. I barely felt a pinch. There was a little discomfort but now many hours later I feel a lot better. Dr. King answered my questions, he was knowledgeable and very personable and I was very glad he was so friendly because I hurt and the last thing you need when you are hurting is a doctor that sees dollar signs and not a hurting person.
