I arrived early just as requested and had checked in ahead at home. I checked in at the desk for a 10am appointment that I scheduled before work. Not only did they not call me anywhere near on time, I had to go back to the desk to see what was going on. When they called back to the office it appeared no one knew who I was seeing or that I was here. Never again!! Made this appointment with a nice time cushion, but they dropped the ball. Very unprofessional if you ask me to be so off of being on time. No one here but waited for an hour. Called me in and ask me bullshit questions. Never again. read more

Horrible! The check in employees are ao rude! They speak at you and never make eye contact! Then I get sent to employee health and they are worse than the urgent care! I have been a patient for about 45 years and have recently seen the service go down hill dramatically. It is nearly impossible to reach a physician's office or to have them return a phone call. This has happened with more than one physician. I have been chasing down several offices to have information faxed between doctors. I feel that this is not my job. I most recently tried to schedule an appointment with a cardiologist to obtain screening and after several days without a callback from the office, had to try to schedule since they make their own appointments. I am this close to kicking HC to the curb. I am sure there are other facilities out there that would appreciate my business and make sure that I receive the attention that this patient deserves. My husband and I only come to this location if are utilizing Urgent Care. The wait times aren't bad and it's convenient if you can't get in to your regular doctor. They treat non-life threatening problems. Cold, flu, strep, sprains, UTI, asthma, etc. read more

I've visited this office for a couple of check-ups and a prescription for pain medicine. It's very rare for you to book an appointment within 2 weeks of your call, so be weary of that. If you need immediate attention your best bet is the walk-in clinic around the block. read more

They quoted me a price for a test then billed me more than 9x's the quoted price. This was after waiting 6 weeks to see the doctor. What a way to treat someone who's been going there for decades. Every year this place gets worse. read more

I love the Clinic in Munster. Every time I have gone there, I was called into the back quickly. And once i was in a private room, I didn't have to wait very long at all for the doctor to arrive - unlike many other doctors offices I have been to. Dr. Jeffrey Rhodes is an amazing doctor. I'm sure he sees many patients every day, but he still remembered me when i came back for my 2-week checkup. He sent me across the hall for lab work, and that went quickly also. The cost is affordable, they accept many insurances, the place was clean, the staff was actually competent... I am happy with the Clinic! read more

If you are looking for a primary care doctor, look no further. Dr. Zaitoon is awesome. He is good listerner, good sense of humor but best of all HE REALLY CARES! Hammond Clinic used to be our go-to Urgent care location, even with their shady billing practices, but my experience with our last few visits have me writing them off for good. Last week I went in on Sunday with a mild leg infection (which I have had in the past), expecting to get the normal antibiotics to clear it up. The new doctor they assigned to me decided that I had a blood clot instead (even though I didn't have other symptoms to support this), and ordered that I go to an Emergency room immediately. The ER was surprised that I was there, as they diagnosed it as a leg infection, but would do the other tests that were recommended by Hammond Clinic to be safe. 5 hours and $2300.00 in tests later, the ER just gave me antibiotics and said it only was a mild leg infection! And I also owe Hammond Clinic $80 for them not doing anything for me. Next time, I'm no longer going to waste my time and money on the Hammond Clinic! read more

I have been going to the Hammond Clinic since I was a little girl. It was nearby my childhood home, and it was within our insurance network. In the past 3-4 years I have had many disappointing experiences with Hammond Clinic. I find that I generally leave with no answers and a handful of prescriptions. This is not the place to go if you are looking for answers. I recently visited because I woke up with a hurt back and I could barely walk. The doctor asked me if I was seeing OK and if my bowel movements were normal...yes, they were (it was my back and legs that were in pain). He proceeded to get me on the exam table and lifted my leg up as high as he could asking "does that hurt?" Now that I am seeing a wonderful Doctor in Schererville I realize how poorly I have been treated at the Hammond Clinic. I would suggest you look elsewhere if you have a choice. The only decent experiences I have had at the Clinic have been Dr. Sheth and Dr. Diab....other than that I do not plan to go back. read more

The nurses are incompetent. I had to wait over a week to set up an appointment because there is only one nurse who was able to, and she was never there when I called. Every time I called, I was transferred 3-7 times, a was even transferred back to people I had already spoke to numerous times. I finally get an appointment two weeks away, it took two separate phone calls just for them to get my insurance information down right and then they call me 3 hours before my appointment to cancel. They said they didn't accept my insurance, when I called my insurance provider, I found out that they certainly did accept my plan. I waited 3 weeks to see someone, talked to a handful of nurses and employees who did not know what they were doing, all while I was diagnosed with a THREATENED MISCARRIAGE! They put my unborn child's life in danger by not giving me medical assistance and put me through so much stress that I did not need at that time. read more

whenever you call in for them to contact walgreens/ins.co. for another rx they never do it. walgreens or my insurance co. keep faxing but with no results. I call several times with no results also. today is wed.--I called dr. office last thurs & told them I had no pills left. (my rx expired but I also had 2 more refills left.) they don't care. this has been going on for years. talk to the dr. twice about this. I've had it. gonna change dr. or clinic. back in the 80's & 90's people complained a lot about the clinic. for awhile they were doing a lot better. guess they're back where they were. read more
