First time trying Moge Tee. I've walked past the store several times before, but there were always people waiting for their orders. I was early at Tyson today when it was not so crowded, so I decided to finally give Moge a try. I ordered an avocado with extra jelly topping and at 50% sweetness. It was very good and refreshing; The extra jelly topping felt generous. I would probably go for 75% sweetness the next time, but 50% was perfectly good too. Compared to their flagship location , my experience at this location was unfortunately quite disappointing. Firstly, the staff here are not warm nor welcoming. You are just confronted with a frown and a very dismissive attitude. I enjoy their products so I initially brushed this aside. I ordered the dragonfruit tea, the berry tea, fresh orange tea, and strawberry tea. After waiting, they called me over to the order pick up and were handing me all the other smoothies while informing me then that they were out of dragonfruit. This created confusion because they wanted to give me a refund and had me go back to the register cutting in front of another customer that was trying to order. I had to interact with the dismissive cashier again who got a bit confused with what was happening. She then clearly seemed very inconvenienced by me as she proceeded with my refund. They just don't seem like they appreciate their customers here and I hope they work to improve attitudes. read more

We LOVE Moge Tee. We learned about Moge tea while we were we NYC and we had one of the best tea experiences since then. We would go to NYC for a food tour and get Moge Tea multiple times during our trip. Once we found it they opened a location in the NOVA area, we were destined to go! This Moge Tea is inside the Tyson's Corner Mall on the first floor. They are currently not offering indoor dining due to the pandemic. They have a self serve kiosk machine that basically allows you to order anything you want, but you can also go to the cashier to do the same. The location of the kiosk machine didn't have any practical sense as it was right next to the cashier. Think it would make more sense if it was by the door or in another location. My GF ordered the Creme Brulee Milk tea and I love their Super Fruit Tea but never had it with black tea. In this location, they allow you to choose the type of tea for super fruit tea: black tea, green tea or oolong. In the NYC locations, they didn't have those options; I think it's green tea. Now that I am writing this review, the black tea was definitely a mistake! Get the green tea or oolong tea. I think the black tea was too strong and gave it a bitter taste which counterproductive to the natural sweetness of the fruits in there. This is the first location that offered the plus size so we did that and it was definitely a super size version of milk tea! However, the 2 drinks came out to be almost $20 which I thought was pricy for milk tea. Plus size were not available in the NYC locations. This is a good location for Moge tea especially if you are in the Mall and we will definitely come back because we come to this Mall from time to time. Parking is free which is nice, but its quite a far walk from your car to the actual store itself, but I guess that does depend on where you park as well. If you come here just for the tea, then it's a bit out of the way b/c it's in the mall. But if you're already coming to the mall, then check this place out. read more

I had a great experience at Moge Tea in Tysons! Not only is the entire store very clean and aesthetically pleasing, the employees were very nice and the shop was not crowded as I expected. I ordered the fresh watermelon tea (no cheese foam) with crystal pearls, and received my drink very quickly. I would really recommend the fruity drinks because they taste refreshing and look nice! Best BOBA in Nova: First of all, I love how they serve white boba as in actual white boba.. not the crystal boba a lot of places label as "white boba" because that's not even nearly the same thing. Not to mention, their boba is ALWAYS PERFECT. I have never once had an issue with their boba being too over cooked or mushy. It's always a perfect consistency even before closing. And trust me, I have been here so many times... especially during that raffle they had last year for the iPhone 11 Pro and AirPods. Didn't win, but their drinks won my hearts at least. I was craving boba and had to try it after looking at their display in the front of the store. It was very quick to order with a few click of buttons and it was made pretty fast as well. I wanted to try something not to sweet and this Fresh Lemon Oolong tea was perfect. It was not to zesty or citrusy but it was not overpowering with oolong tea either. The ordering process is pretty easy with their QR code at the window (or you can order at the counter too but there is usually a line). This time, I got the uji matcha. Uji Matcha: it's your standard matcha milk tea, but I like that they don't have added sugar in their matcha (compared to Starbucks). The matcha tastes a lot smoother and more on the bitter side. I like that they have a cute bag with handles to carry around. Overall: great boba shop to stop by when you need a break from shopping. The boba is reasonably priced and the shop is extremely covid-safe. I highly recommend all of their matcha milk teas and the combinations with it. read more

It gives it more well-rounded flavor than the syrup or powders some bubble tea stores use. Together with cheese foam, it tasted somewhat like a dessert... maybe peach ice cream, in some way? My boyfriend got the DaHongPao milk tea with the bubbles and pudding. That one tasted nice too. Pudding was silky and the bubbles had flavor similar to winter melon. The tea itself tasted like a darker oolong. Overall it was pretty good. Drinks are pricey but they seem to be of higher quality. On Black Friday (grand opening of this store), they had a buy one get one 50% off promotion for drinks. So I purchased a cheese foam fresh red dragonfruit tea and cheese foam fresh mango tea. The prices on ALL the menus they had (tv screens and brochure) listed the dragonfruit tea as 8.75 and mango tea as 6.50, but they actually charged me $1 extra for each drink; so it became 9.75 and 7.50 respectively. I ended up paying a total of 13.50+tax because of the promotion and have included a picture of the "menu." When I asked the cashier, she explained that all of the drinks had a $1 upcharge at this location only. Not a big big deal, but they should have edited their menus to show the correct price before they opened and charged almost $10 for a drink. The drinks were extremely disappointing. The dragonfruit tea tasted nothing like dragonfruit, more similar taste to sour seed water. The mango was extremely flavorless and actually tasted more like acidic pineapple if anything. I work at a bubble tea shop myself, so I do understand that not all drinks are perfect, but these were wayyy too watered down and had no real fruit taste. When I asked the barista for a little more sugar in the dragon fruit tea, she added a pump of purple syrup inside, which makes me wonder if there is even any real fruit inside the "fresh fruit teas." The drink became more sweet but still had no flavor. My friends and I ended up drinking only the cheese foam and then throwing it away. There was so much anticipation for this place ever since I saw it was opening in Tysons months ago. I love how this is another place for friends to come and hang out. When we walked in, it was super hot for some reason but our body temps did get used to it. I think it was the amount of people sitting here that caused the temperature of this place to get higher. It was my first time ordering from Moge. I ordered a cold medium-sized brown sugar milk tea. Just tried this drink at Tiger Sugar (Chinatown, Manhattan location) and I am obsessed. Was hoping that Moge's brown sugar milk tea version would taste similarly. The drink container is very cute with the little ears but it's difficult to thoroughly mix the drink components just by using a straw. You can't shake the cup upside down because the lid isn't securely fastened. I ended up drinking all of the brown sugar mixture at the bottom and ended up having a lot of milk left over. Unlike the other usual bubble teas I have tasted which are very sweet and have artificial flavors (although I do love those as well), the flavor of Moge Tee drinks seemed from fresh real ingredients. The drinks I tried were not overly sweet and I didn't feel as guilty as I would usually feel after drinking bubble tea. The strawberry tasted of real fruit and the taro wasn't colored purple like the other places. Disappointed!!! Very very bad customer service. When a place doesn't care about customers satisfaction, it's not worth going to. I am never going back there ever again. This is my first and last visit to this place, though I used to go to the one at Montgomery mall all the time and was super excited that they open a store at Tyson corner. I ordered 3 large drinks (matcha, fruit, and black sesame) and paid extra for the bag for the barista to put the drinks in it. I didn't know they charge for a bag I took the drinks out of the bag a few steps later so he should've at least told me he would charge for that. I didn't like the black sesame drink and went back and asked to exchange or return it. He told me that the store policy is 50% and pointed at a small white sticker stuck on glass. Ive been to the location in Montgomery mall, so I was excited to try this location. My friend and I didn't know it was buy one get one free, so that was a pleasant surprise. I ordered the dragonfruit yakult and my friend got rose oolong with no cheese foam DRAGONFRUIT YAKULT: I really loved this drink. You only taste the yakult, but thats totally fine with me. I love the crunch of the dragonfruit and theres a surprisingly large amount of dragonfruit chunks on the bottom. Oh and there was only a little amount of ice which I prefer because too much will take up too much volume and eventually dilute the drink. I would highly reccomend this if you love yakult. Oh and its super pretty too. ROSE OOLONG CHEESE FOAM: My friend got this without the cheese foam and it was straight up tea with no sugar. This would be a great drink if you just wanted cold tea. But yeah i think the cheese foam would have added more flavor and sweetness. If you want a sweet drink then get it with the cheese foam. Overall, I would come here again. The service was really good, the cashier was really knowledgable in the contents and ingredients of the drinks on the menu. I asked her what was in the hawaii milk tea (a lighter more floral oolong tea-more refreshing) and she explained it in great detail and was not annoyed. read more
