I dined here after the K. Michelle concert at the Santander Arena. Parking: street. Atmosphere bright! Cafeteria vibe with a bar in the back. They played Latin music. Service: It was good. There was a language barrier at times, but I was able to get what I wanted. The women were nice, and they worked together to make sure I was good. Drink: passion fruit mojito: delicious! It had a good kick!! They also give you chips and salsa. Food: mofongo salmon y churrasco. The steak was very flavorful!! The salmon was a little overcooked. The mofongo was delightful!! Dessert: flan. It was ok. I've had better. Overall, I enjoyed my food. I would definitely go back here if I'm in the area.

If you're looking for some delicious homemade Puerto Rican/Dominican food you MUST visit the "Mofongo Restaurant" in Reading!! The food is Scrumptiously Delicious!!! Excellent friendly service, nicely priced, all sorts of traditional desserts, full bar (my virgin Pina Colada was Yummy!), microbrewery for those that prefer beer and to top it off, Free parking!! W can't wait to go back!!

The worse calamari frito that I ever try.

The worse Calamari that I have ever try the food is not bad, but this appetizer is not good.

A very pleasurable experience. Our ceviche was outstanding. My wife's mofongo with the fried pork was very good.

I love coming to this restaurant. But this time traveling to Lancaster, I was sad to find out that…read morethey relocated to another spot not too far away from the old location. LOCATION: This new location sits on the second floor of a building. Steps are pretty narrow, so I can't imagine the elderly being able to climb a flight and a half of steps to enjoy such delicacies. So the new location is absolutely beautiful and more fancy than their old location. I love the ambiance. I went there on a Saturday at approximately 4:00 p.m. and there was Zero clientele. It seems like this place may have lost a lot of customers due to the location being on the second floor, but I could be wrong. I'll be honest, very clean, well lit with many slits of skyline above. I love the decor it still reminds me of Old San Juan, along with the Spanish music playing in the background. FOOD: amazing as always, even though I was struggling because they removed one of my favorite dishes from the menu, which was ropa Vieja. You get a lot of food on your plate, and all of the dishes are very flavorful and cook to order. CUSTOMER SERVICE: I love how attentive the staff were even though we were the only ones in the place. The waitress is very knowledgeable about the dishes and extremely accommodating. I wanted something simple to drink like a lemonade, and they made me some from scratch, so I was so thankful. I would definitely recommend coming to this place if you're looking for authentic San Juan dishes

The chicken was pretty good. I think everything would've been better either in the store or just hotter. (The fries weren't warm). We will definitely be trying this place again.

Monfongo, bifongo, trifongo . . . Since it was our first time in, we tried a lot of different items. The Monfongo with chicharones de pollo was excellent. The pastillilo de carne was good. The papas locas (with carne) was really good. It was so big, we couldn't finish it. We ordered it for an appetizer but it really could be an entree. The arroz con gondules was good. It could have had a little more flavor, but it was fine. I ordered a side of the trifongo since only the monfongo came with the entrees. I really liked their trifongo. Hubby got the pina colada frappe and it was very good, very fresh. Definitely a good place to visit. Street parking. Service was a little scattered and it took a lot longer for our food than expected. Lots of families and lots of people taking out, in addition to almost packed tables. Go, enjoy the Boricua food and feel like you're on an island. :)
