Coffee with a view

Loved this breakfast and coffee with a view. Ordering was super easy, they had a wide selection.

A lovely and cozy choice for your coffee stop! Our group of 6 stopped at this spacious, well-lit, and clean coffee shop on our way to North Cascades National Park. The gorgeous open space at this shop paired with the many windows make a great place to enjoy your breakfast, lunch, or simply a cup of coffee. I ordered a plate with eggs, bacon, potatoes and an English muffin. A hearty way to start my morning - I was not disappointed! The food was served hot. It was flavorful and the portion size was good. I paired it with an "Sweater Weather" oat milk latte that was on the sweet side. I would've asked for a 50% less sweet modification but otherwise it was tasty. Just take a look at the photos below and you'll see why I enjoyed myself so much. P.s. they have outdoor fire pits where customers can start it up themselves to get cozy.

Dropped by for lunch and got a sandwich and a tomato soup. Was decent but not really anything special. Was a little expensive at around $20 for the two. Order also took kind of long to come out considering what it includes.

Awesome coffee drinks, food and ice cream!

Love Moes! Stop by everytime I pass through Darrington from Oregon. Coffee, food and service is always just right!

An adorable little coffee shop and café that's located en route to the North Cascades -- we stopped by during our day trip and made a pit stop for some take-out and ice cream. The store is really well-decorated, and they have a fun outdoor patio. The view is pretty hard to beat, and you can see some stunning mountains from the entrance! They serve up breakfast bagels, and switch over to pizzas and sandwiches in the afternoon. The Garden Sandwich was delicious and filling -- I appreciated that the staff offered to toast it up for me on the panini press, too! The Cookie Dough ice cream was a much-needed pick-me-up as well. Overall, well worth a little pit stop.

Heard this is a must stop spot if you're in the area and I agree. Not only is it probably the biggest coffee shop in the area but they have a lot of delicious stuff here! It's more than a coffee shop, and there's really good food options. outside there are picnic tables set up like a mini campground and tons of dog friendly lawn space. Check out their website for their event calander, it looks like they host some fun stuff here too. I saw loaded tater tots on the menu and this place won me over. The serving is HUGE. It's around $12 and I'd say 2-3 potatoes in this hefty dish. TaterTots + Beer Cheese + Bacon + Sour Cream + Green Onions. The tots and bacon could definitely be crispier and then this dish would be chefs kiss divine. The tots crumbled up instead of keeping their tot shape and quickly became potato crumbles. I also confused the bacon for pancetta, the slices were thin and salty but I looked back at the menu and it's bacon. We ordered two coffees, a white horse cold brew which was bucken good and a peanut butter moe which you must must must get on a hot day, it's the perfect coffee milkshake.

This is for the "just passin' through" folks like me. It was August 29 of the year of the pandemic, and we were heading home after a camping trip. My boy was getting hungry, and restaurants with outdoor seating were scarce, so we decided that groceries were the best way to satisfy him. I masked up and went in alone. This was my first real encounter with small town scorn for public health. People in other small town businesses have looked like they resent the mask rules, but comply for the sake of the tourist trade. For example, I saw two mask scofflaws at the supermarket in Forks. (And yes, we even see scofflaws in the city occasionally.) But here, the place was pretty busy, and maybe a quarter of the customers were unmasked. Most of those tempting the virus to hasten their demise looked old, or infirm, or depressed -- but they were also endangering people who still have a reason to live. Although I was trying to shop quickly, I didn't know my way around the store, and I had to search to find a decent, no-preparation snack for my boy. During the search, I found one irresistible impulse purchase: a huge jar of raw honey for a respectable price. The treats at the in-store bakery were pretty picked over by 4:30 pm, so I settled for a red velvet roll cake, for about what I'd expect to pay in the city. I took my purchases to the one open cashier. (They were short-handed; I heard someone apologizing about that.) She was wearing a mask, but it only covered her mouth. I'm glad there was a plastic shield, and room for me to back away from the cashier through most of the transaction. I paid with a card, and the card machine was mercifully quick. Back in the parking lot, I showed my wife and our boy the cake. (The honey will be a surprise for later.) It calmed his hunger, and my wife and I indulged too. But it wasn't something I'd highly recommend. It wasn't until my wife asked that I read the ingredients list, and I think it was mostly sugar, with some cooking oil, some flour, and some dairy ingredients in the frosting (which was delicious). We'll probably finish the leftover cake, mostly because we hate to waste food. My two-star "Meh, I've experienced better" is partly a reaction to the mask scofflaws. And I suppose it's not fair to count inconsiderate customers against them. But a cashier showing her nose? Not good. But it's not just the pandemic. The bakery shelf was short enough of items that I settled for the cake, which was disappointing. I didn't experience the employee friendliness mentioned in other reviews. On the plus side, there was the local raw honey.
