Employees were friendly and patient. Ambiance is European type street cafe with some tables available on the sidewalk. At this time of year there were hanging flower baskets in place. Came here to meet a friend, but I will definitely be returning! Memo is huge and everything is reasonably priced. Definitely a popular spot among locals, it was bustling when we popped in at 9:30am on a Tuesday. The espresso is STRONG, so in my mind a good thing. I got the loaded avocado toast and it wasn't worth 14 bucks, a lot of raw onion which made it overpowering. Loving the spot, loving the coffee, loving the people! I've visited a handful of times so far and had a pleasant experience each time in service. We've done both dine in and take-out for both drinks and food. The reason for the minus one star from a perfect 5 solely rests on their avocado toast. They don't seem to season the avocado and definitely spread pretty thin. I've tried twice hoping the first time was a fluke, but it was consistently the same. For the price, the amount, and flavor of avocado it isn't what I expected. Otherwise, love their menu options both food and drink, and they even have menu items for the pups! The ambiance is great for coffee with friends, work away from home, and they have their wine bar attached and next door with a cute outdoor patio. They sell their own coffee beans and have merch most times. I'm so disappointed in this cafe. The coffee is Cafe Darte - Dark Roast. All of it. That means very little caffeine. No other options. A glazed doughnut was $3.50. Seriously? Nice little spot to grab coffee on one side or a drink on the other. The service was a bit slow and we heard another table say it usually is but the servers were nice. While the coffees were good there were some things that concerned me. For one wearing a mask that is not covering your nose just is unprofessional. Secondly the girl who took the orders was assisting and cupping. Her hands were not gloved or washed and she was putting my lid on my cup. Literally pressing all over it because she couldn't get it on. In a time of immense germ a phobia this made me cringe. First thing I did was throw away the lid! Wow! Today's visit was 10/10! My friends and I stopped here on our way to visit the Tulip fields and no complaints from the four of us. My coffee was great (I get sugar free syrups personally so some places I visit usually flop because of the aftertaste but it was so enjoyable!) I got the chef salad and no joke, it hit the spot and salads usually don't do that for me haha My friends got the paninis and wraps and liked them as well. The atmosphere here is bright and above the quiet sound wise but in a great way. My partner and I absolutely love Moe's! There are two locations in downtown Arlington we frequent: the drive-thru across from the pharmacy, and the walk-in location near the post office. Either way, you'll be greeted by really kind baristas who will happily recommend items on their menu, and who will remember your usual order if you become a regular. I'd recommend going to both locations--while both offer the same drink menu and food options, the drive-thru offers handheld breakfast items such as power bars and breakfast burritos, whereas the walk-in offers açaí bowls, avocado toast, and bagels--there's also a display of baked goods from a local bakery at the front of the line! Moe's is a great place for brunch with a friend or two--seating is offered both inside and outside of the building, but can be hard to come by since it's a hot spot. Bringing in a big group isn't necessarily a bad idea, but you might have a hard time sitting together. Luckily, there's a park just down the street with plenty of places to sit when the weather's nice! Moe's also offers an extensive rewards program--unlike other coffee places where you're mostly looking at earning free drinks from your rewards points, you can easily earn enough points over time to win Moe's merchandise like coffee grounds, hats, sweatshirts--I've only lived in the area for two years and don't drink coffee too often, and I'm looking at getting my second sweatshirt when they restock with the new, seasonal designs. We have always enjoyed both the coffee drinks and food at Moes. But today I brought my completed punch card in for my free drink and was told they are no longer honoring the cards as they have converted to an electronic system. Obviously I'm disappointed and do not feel this is right or fair. We are senior citizens and think this was a poor management decision that has now definitely affected our decision to continue bringing our business to them. read more

Listen, things are expensive in this economy, I get it. But $18 for a sub par "Good Sandwich", really irks me. I ordered the "Good Sandwich" which was Turkey, bacon and cheese (only cheddar and provolone offered), spicy mayo, greens, red onion, avocado on a ciabatta. I also purchased one blueberry scone, one chocolate crackle cookie and an old fashion donut. The total? It came to $38 before tip. Now, I'm not sure what I'm tipping for exactly (they bring the sandwich to you and you have to get your drink at the bar), but I'm generous, so I tipped 15% and it brought my total to $44.00. I guess I assumed the bakery items were made in house? I don't think so. The donut was cold, like defrosted kind of cold, and later on, I tried a bite of the scone, and it tasted like a store bought mediocre scone. I wouldn't mind an occasional mediocre scone, but you can't charge bakery prices, and serve grocery store items, without some disappointed customers. The ciabatta was dough-y, with zero chew, and there was maybe two pieces of microwaved bacon and the most minimal amount of turkey I've ever seen, on my tiny sandwich. This place is perfectly located and it's has such a cute vibe...I just wish the food was special and appropriately priced for what you get. read more

I've been coming here for quite a while and I am almost always satisfied. I ALWAYS get a turkey pesto panini and it is always delicious. Normally I get an iced americano but today I got a Redbull charger instead, which was just as tasty. Food and drink usually comes in a timely manner. Occasionally there will be too much ice in drinks which is bothersome, but not detrimental. All in all, I thoroughly enjoy going to Moe's and I absolutely recommend it. read more

Visited this morning and...disappointed! I love coffee and unfortunately all 3 drinks we had here we're terrible. I don't mean not great. I mean undrinkable. Everyone took two sips and tossed the drinks. I hate the idea that I just threw away $15 worth of coffee! I sampled all three and the problem was clearly the same across all three coffees. The issue is either extremely overextracted espresso shots, old beans, or some combination of the two. This is a really cute shop that clearly has a following for its baked goods and wines. A local shop like this should easily be able to outshine a local Starbucks, but this failed... miserably. read more

If you're going for drinks and to get food only stay with the appetizers. We ordered 300$ worth of food and drinks with a party of 6. The food came out cold, every single item. Waited an hour for the food and literally frozen. They have items on the menu that sound amazing and when you get them they are absolutely awful, I'd rather get food at Arby's or McDonald's than ever spend that amount of money for a poor excuse of a 18$ meal. Brought up one item that was completely disgusting and still had to pay for it even though only two bites were taken. I think they need to step up their kitchen staff in order to supply "food". I'm not one to leave bad reviews, especially within small communities and places BUT this was by far the worst dinner experience I've experienced. I was genuinely appalled by the food quality. I rarely venture to new places that have only 2 reviews (even though they had 5 STARS for both) - but it was a risk worth taking! Walked into a very welcoming and cute space that had plenty of tables to choose from. I ordered their Dark Chocolate Mocha with Almond milk - not too sweet, and my bf got a double shot almond milk Cappuccino. We also ordered some food! Their Bacon, Cheddar, and Jalepeno Pinwheel (GLUTEN FREE as well) wasn't dry at all but very soft and the flavor was amazing! Their Almond Poppyseed Muffin was also really tasty - not too sweet or overpowering with lemon flavor. And their baked goods are made from local bakeries! Overall, a nice stop in this cute town!
