Yet we don't know how to find great tasting coffee. As luck would have it, the local Convention and Visitors Bureau rep. suggested this place. Once I found out their Papua New Guinea medium roast bean is the old Jamaican Blue Mountain bean transplanted to Papua New Guinea, I had to try a cup -- black. One taste is all it took. I was hooked. The rest is history. Now I have shipments of Camano Island Coffee Roasters coffee sent to me every 8-weeks. My favorites and the Papua New Guinea Medium Roast and Columbian Reserve. But I've also tried the Ethiopian, Brazilian, Honduras and other blends. They're all good and, best of all, the beans are sent to you the day they are roasted. If you don't have a great coffee brewer here's a tip from Jeff Erickson, owner of establishment. Brown paper is preferred because it doesn't contain bleach that will leach into the coffee. It's easy to go online and order. Just go to https://camanoislandcoffee.com, set up an account, shop, and you're good to go.
