They did a full diagnostic of our system from the well to filter system and more. The issue was our filtration system, which had failed. We spoke with Brent at Moerke & Sons about replacing our old filter system. He ordered it and Derrick and Brian installed it. What an awesome job they all did. Nice clean job! Great service, very helpful and reassuring that it could and would be fixed. We couldn't be happier with outcome and definitely would refer them! I don't usually have to call for water or water system problems but, two years ago and this month I had a need to call Moerke & Sons pump and drilling, to help with my water system. Both times, they were super friendly and very pleasant to deal with. In both instances, they could have said I needed all kinds of expensive parts. Neither time did they do that, they did the opposite, they fixed the problem, explaining each move and item fixed. Business must be so incredibly good that they do not care about new customers. well estimate - On a Monday I said we'd like to move forward & use Moerke as our well driller. I was told I would be emailed an estimate to sign & then needed to give a deposit of $350. - Following Monday (1 week later) I called to do a follow up as I had not received the email (no call back). - Following Monday (2 weeks now) I call again for a follow up. I was told I'd get it later that day (2 weeks & no communication from them) & I finally received the email. Site Inspection - Agreed upon that I would be giving the signed contract and a deposit check for $350 at the inspection (they couldn't do the deposit over the phone or online). - At the property for the inspection I finally called the office as it had been 20 minutes past the meeting time. - I was told that they tried emailing me that morning & tried calling but only got a beeping sound. I checked my email while on the phone (including junk folder) & told them I received no email & my phone has been working all day. - When I checked to see if they had the correct phone number they did, but the office person then asked where do they put the 0 & the 1? I do not have an international phone number.... it's a Washington State area code. - I was then told I would get a call the next day from the person that didn't show at my site inspection. - It's now been 3 days later with no call. - I have called another well drilling company & they had an estimate for me in 40 minutes (which took Moerke 2 weeks with 2 follow up calls). read more

We had an old electrical line in our pasture for our pump house that was poorly spliced by the previous owners. We called Moerke and sons to come out and give us an estimate for the repair. It was one of three companies that we had reached out to for an estimate. After them showing up and spending a few minutes on site we realized pretty quickly that they didn't want to do the work. So we parted ways without much fanfare. Then, we got a bill from them for coming out. We were never told that estimates cost money or we would not have scheduled it. We specifically asked if estimates we're free and were told they were. They are now saying that rolling a truck, even during an estimate situation, requires them to charge us money. This is not what we were told nor what the people that referred us to them understood. Very unprofessional, we will not be using these guys ever and will strongly recommend their competitors to everyone we can. read more

Poor customer service. Called on a Saturday to look at our 5 party well. Unprofessional, lack of expertise, poor communication and could not diagnose issue causing electrical problem. Bill was over $600!!!! Called 2 other professional well companies on the following Monday and the problem was diagnosed over the phone and by Tuesday we were repaired. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Moerke & Sons. I called them before writing a review. Unfortunately, they did not want to work with me to resolve this issue. read more

For the last 3 years we have been working with Moerke & Sons off and on as we have tried to navigate/fix/use our well water. They have consistently been very helpful, courteous and trustworthy. None of our issues were tied to them until one came up recently. We saw them go out of their way to fix the issue. We highly recommend them for all your well needs. read more

Waited 3 months to get these guys out there only to have them punch right through the water table, then go down 100 feet so they could charge me more. They then proceeded to harass me about payment, which was not cheap. 6K for a dry well. Thanks for nothing. read more

No water pressure and filter purge was gushing water with pump constantly running. Called the office and it happened to their Holiday party so no techs available. Laurie instructed me on how to set bypass latch. I was faced with no filtered water until the following Monday but the techs made a stop the next day and fixed my broken filter within an hour. Happy with service a quick response!! read more

Moerke and Sons used to be good but since all the old timers are gone so is the service. Have had several instances to call on them over different issues and the service was poor, sarcastic guy came out, and other times they haven't bothered to call back. Really disappointed in their business ethics and they don't seem to care if they have your business. read more

Awful experience. They have ruined our well. They made an error putting in a pump, which blew out a piece of metal which caused us to lose water pressure and sent metal fragments throughout our water. They got the pump working again after a few days, but the metal fragments remain. We tried to resolve the issue with them, but they are not taking responsibility for contaminating our water. read more

We're in the process of buying a house in the country and during the inspection, the house inspector said we might want to get the well looked at because he thought it might have low pressure. The nicest guy came out and did the well inspection. He was super informative and answered all my questions, labeled all the parts and went over how everything works. The lights in the pump house weren't working and he even fixed that while he was there. I can't recommend this company enough and feel a lot more confident about buying a house with it's own well. read more

Called and said it would take weeks to come out so we fixed it ourselves. Then when it failed again sent an inexperienced tech who forced parts on a pipe that wasn't 1 inch and glued them hoping they would stick. Fix failed within 12 hours. Second guy comes out, works for a few hours spending lots of time on phone with the shop. Said he didn't have parts that would fit and said to go to Home Depot to get parts and fix ourselves or let him put in a temporary line drilling through the side of our pump house while we wait weeks for a submersible pump install. We had to replace every part and piece of pipe that was installed, nothing worked. I still received a bill for a repair that only lasted 12 hours, where all the parts had to be trashed because of the glue on them. Sean said "Well it was fixed, wasn't it?" and took labor of the bill which was already marked too high because he claimed his tech got back at 4:30 when he left my house at 2:15. Skyline spent a lot of time on the phone trying to help us trouble shoot the repair ourselves on the phone. When our repair failed again they came out the next day and gave us a submersible pump, without replacing the line, for under 1700 while you're charging us 200 for a 12 hour repair. You should send techs who know what they are doing and can diagnose a problem within half an hour, write invoice on site that defines what we're being charged for and collect credit card information immediately, don't try to charge a person for three repairs (patch up current system, then put in temporary system, then permanent fix), don't exaggerate labor time by 2 hours, don't consider a job that fails within 12 hours a fix. read more

I am so frustrated! Moerke and sons put in a brand new pump for me less than 5 years ago....they removed the old pump that was from 1979 (he said the oldest he'd ever seen) that one lasted 32 years! We expected this one to last at least 10...guess what! Evidently we got the cheap 5 year pump and can just pay for a new one all over again! Would not recommend Moerke ever! read more

I got an estimate of 1800$ it was a verbal estimate. Then I got the bill for 2700$ I was then told they gave me an estimate of 2100$. that's not true. I paid the bill. If I knew that I was going to pay this much over the estimate I would have shopped around more. It's like going to restaurant asking how much the hamburger costs and they say 10$, then getting the check for 50$. The work done was good but how do you end up charging so much more than you estimate. I could have been contacted and told that it would be more money then they estimated. I wasn't. Another example, you go to the damn supermarket and get a chicken. The price tag says 5.00$. Then you go to the checkout and they tell you its mislabeled and it's a 75$ chicken. You get my point. It was explained to me that an estimate is not a quote. So clearly, the secret to making money is giving a bad estimate and sending a big bill. read more

I needed a well Clay and Moerke and Sons well drilling put a well it at 30 feet at 8 gallons a minute, the well was installed for under $4,000 just enough for my future house. I would recommend these guys anytime. I have dealt with other companies in the past and Moerke is the only one I would recommend. They have always been willing to help and answer any questions, even when you are doing some or all of the work yourself. Their rates are extremely reasonable and it is evident customer service is part of their culture. read more

I LOVE these guys. They've been out to my house twice now: once to inspect our well before we bought it, and now to save us when our pump stopped working completely and we had no running water. I was panicked, and they got somebody out here in twenty minutes! Less than an hour later our water is back and I couldn't imagine faster, more helpful or friendlier service. Rest assured we will be calling them the next time our well needs some TLC, and referring them like crazy in the meantime! read more
