I've been a member at this Car Wash off and on for since they opened. It's been open perhaps 3 years now, and it is the closest to my house. Invariably, something is broken at this car wash all the time. There were days when... during advertised business hours, cones were up and they were not washing cars. When asked, I was told it was IT issues. There's always something wrong here. Pull up to a vacuum cleaner that doesn't work. There was a broken gate, and so they coned up one entry point. Doesn't seem like a big deal, but when you need a quick wash and scan in... and you have to sit there for 10 minutes while someone in front of you punches a screen with a new customer... the wash is no longer convenient. This has made me late multiple times. Then, there's the wash itself. I could not fathom taking someone's money, and the brushes that wash the sides of the car simply not working. The last 3 times I've driven through, it's the brushes that wash the top of the car that literally touch the hood of your car, then retract. The entire top of my car, windshield, hood, and back hatch haven't been washed in a week. When I ask about it... "Our mechanic is supposed to be coming soon." You're taking $300 a year from me. I pay for everything to work properly. Not for your excuses. I even wrote the corporate email and complained. Never received any type of reply. All this communicates one thing to me - they don't give two flips about my business, and have no intention of bettering themselves. In a competitive marketplace... you can't serve up garbage and expect people to pay for it. I, for one, am willing to drive a few extra miles for a comparable price, and machinery and equipment that work. Do better. Seriously. read more

I paid $25 for a car wash and was extremely disappointed with the quality. After my first run through, there were still a significant amount of bug splatters on my car--especially the windshield. I spoke with the employee on site, who kindly allowed me to go through a second time, but unfortunately, the results were no better. When I got home, I had to manually scrub the windshield myself to get it clean. At most car washes, there's usually someone who pre-scrubs the front windshield, especially when bug debris is involved. It's hard to justify a $25 price tag when basic service like that isn't provided. Sadly, this experience was unacceptable, and I won't be returning. read more

Decided to try MODWash on Ehrlich RD when they opened in December 2024. I took my two vehicles in on separate dates. Each time I paid for the washes, I told the attendant I wanted to pay for a single wash and advised I did not want to be set up on a monthly billing plan. In January my credit card was billed for additional two separate monthly payments. These charges were never authorized by me, nor have I been back to MODWash since my original trip in December. I have sent 3 separate emails since FEB 07, to the location's web site requesting a refund on the January charges. NO RESPONSE. Ii do not think I will be conducting any further business with MODWash. Better check your CC statements for unauthorized billings from this company. read more

Hello, so I have as membership at ModWash. Today, my boyfriend and I went and there were 5 towels left on the cart. When a lady asked for more towels the gentleman states to take some From the bottom. I looked at him weird, due to I overheard the conversation. Hello!! Those are old dirty towels I was thinking. Than, I see this gentleman collect the towels from the bottom and just walk away! Second, I'm doing my own thing vacuuming my car and the vacuum comes apart, the one end went flying almost hit car next to me! I just started laughing cause what else could go wrong! Went to use the tool to blow out dust didn't work. This place was amazing now there open and no one takes care of it. read more

Most of the vacuums are not operational several days a week; we have been told the car wash machine is broken at least 4 times in the past 2 months. They definitely have an issue with keeping workers. They do not offer air fresheners regularly like they did when I became a member more than 2 years ago. Just an FYI I went to wash my car at the new Modwash on Ehrlich . I like the fact that it's close to my house and I get to customize my wash. They have great vacuums and plenty of micro fiber towels. Now for the bad. As soon as my car commenced going thru the wash I noticed the main brushes the one that cleans the hood and roof and the one that does the right side of the car were not functioning. I brought it to the attention of the supervisor and he said They were aware of it and that they are still working out the bugs. Why have it running if there are still bugs to work out? No apologies , no refund , nothing. Great car wash just shouldn't be open yet if not fully functional. read more

Pretty nice and clean car wash with lots of spots to dry your car! I paid for a basic wash which was under $10, and my car went through a tunnel wash system. Afterwards I parked my car, and vacuumed the inside, the vacuum tubes work great and are very strong. There are carts around the vacuum station with microfiber towels to dry the outside of your car along with window cleaning spray! Plus I was given a few ModAir Fresheners to put in my car. Overall a nice experience and I will be back for my next basic car wash! Thank you ModWash, convenient for Riverview residents and right off the 301 highway! read more

The ModWash car wash is second to none. It is the best car wash I have ever been to, hands down. The workers at the wash truly go above and beyond to show exceptional customer service. The car wash itself has awesome, novel tools and cleaning supplies that allow you to perform an exact cleaning detail you would pay hundreds of dollars for at a dealership. I highly recommend the car wash to anyone who prefers quality and detail when cleaning their vehicles. The monthly plan is only $19.99 per car, which is reasonable considering you can use the wash as many times as you wish on the same vehicle. My only suggestion to make this a perfect car wash is more flexibility in the memberships. You are not allowed to do 2 cars for the $19.99 plan. I also don't wash my car on a weekly basis, so a plan that provides a predetermined amount of uses at a discount would better fit my needs. read more

I enjoy the convenience of this location. It is usually busy but finding a spot isn't difficult. I like that if you have a membership you do not need to show a membership card or type in a number on the screen, the attendant knows based on your license plate number and you can go right on through. Walter was the person who helped me today, he was very cheerful and friendly! The only thing that I wish was different is having dual hoses with a second more narrow nozzle like at other car washes that I have been to; the long narrow ones are nice for getting in between the seats read more

Incident in MODWASH with no resolution. My family and I were getting ready to go out of state for the weekend. The place where I do my car wash was closed. Remembered this place, filled my tank and here we go. First of all, there are only three kids working there, no one is attentive to anything. Paid my entrance, went through the machine normal as it could be, left and another customer tells me of my tires. This is crucial since my tire deflated while leaving the structure. Reason that I mention this is because if it happened inside, I would have been riding them flat. While all three tires deflate immediately, I was not able to move the truck without risking damage to itself. Went to find who is in charge, was a young lady, called the manager, because there was no responsible adult in the establishment. Spoke to the manager and his first words were that it was my fault for having aftermarket valve covers. I told him I have gone many times to other car wash and nothing has happened. To make clear I have gone with my Camaro with a kit and the first thing the employees ask me, have you been through before? They are attentive to what goes in and out, because they have adults working. Took video of the Deputy that told me it is a Civil Suit, not with any malicious intent. The part that washes the tires has movement, makes pressure for the tire to maintain straight while cleaning. I believe it was there where it happened since my tire deflated too quickly to have happened further inside. The issue that with aftermarket parts car wash are referring to is, if it tears your spoiler that was not installed by factory, had some torn from the vehicle that was installed by the owner. In my case the machine did something to tear my valves and I believe was with the metal ends of the tire cleaner. An aftermarket valve cover was the issue and because of that it was my fault and not the car wash. Had to pay for three tires inconveniently because of the irresponsibility of the manager of the establishment. They have insurance and treat customers like crap. First blame the customer, he won't do anything a Lawyer will cost too much money to pursue. That is the mentality of every business and I believe everyone with this mentality has to pay. Things are not cheap now a days for these kind of unexpected issues to occur with no reauctions. I just went to get ready for a trip to see my daughter during the long weekend and now have to post complaints for the Owner to take action since the irresponsible manager has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. On the pics you will see the tire cleaner that moves, the damage, the receipt of damages, with a pic on their site of a side step that hides underneath the truck and still damaged it. This needs to be resolved as soon as possible, if not I will contact the news outlet. Why have insurance for issues as this and do not want to use. Is it because the price of the insurance will go up, yes, then have better employees to prevent or just have better managers with customer service. Car wash is good, but their system sucks! When they updated to the new system, they messed up my account, and now every time I try to get a car wash it gives me an error. Someone has to manually look up my account and redeem a car wash. I have spoken to many attendants about the issue, and they promised it would be fixed, but nothing ever gets fixed.
