Mia is by far one of the most talented therapists I have ever been to, and I get a massage 1-2x/mo to keep my stressful life balanced and manageable. She is extremely intuitive, and has the knowledge and expertise to back up her skills. Mia does cupping therapy as well, and many therapists are always using the wrong technique and hurting me..... but Mia was taught the proper way to apply and use the cups for both relaxation and pain relief. Regardless of whatever that salty one star review that's posted to the top, Mia is a great communicator and prioritizes her clients health & wellbeing, and I always book my appointment months in advanced online to secure my spot so I don't end up disappointed waiting until the last minute. Her room is very tranquil and welcoming and made for therapeutic touch and a wonderful bodywork experience. The only thing I wish Mia would do..... is move to Baton Rouge so I didn't have to travel up there for amazing bodywork!

Locating the actual office with the suite number was a little confusing but I managed to find it. The magic happened as soon as I walked in the warm quiet room and it was happily ever after. I've been to several places where the massage bed is cold and I hate that. This bed had a temperature control so it was warm and cozy. Just perfect. Mia was absolutely awesome and focused on the right spots without me even having to tell her. I went in thinking my neck and shoulders were tight but my legs were the worst. She worked her magic on my legs and they've never felt better. She applied the right amount of pressure and did everything right. She has healing hands and I will be coming back.

I've only ever been to Jessica but she is fantastic!! Ive been about 5 times and also brought my teenage kids there for sports massage. We live 30 minutes away but won't go anywhere else now that I found The Massage Suite! The strip mall it's located in is nothing to write home about, but for me it's all about the massage. They are all very conscientious about asking what you like, areas you want to work on (or not work on), and level of pressure desired. When I phoned in and made the appointment I asked if she wanted my name but she said my phone number was enough. I was placed in a room that was not comfortable for me. The ambiance was disappointing. I waited in the room for 5 mins for the person to return. When she came back and started I was thinking I could have paid my grandchild to do this. How many times could my arch get messaged before it would disappear or scraping the underside of my toes. Not a reflexology massage I envisioned. No explanation of a massage or reflexology. No forewarning of touching my thighs, which caught me by surprise. She also smelled of cigarettes and openly coughed twice while massaging. Then to top it off the 30 mins massage was $40.
