I do not always leave reviews! But believe these reviews when you see them! I wish I did :(I asked for Gel Overlay nails. These people literally messed my nails up. The first guy did a pretty good job on my toes. I should've known it was going to be an issue when I told him for my manicure I wanted gel overlay. He continued to try to make me want to get gel acrylic. In which I DID NOT WANT. the guy name Lee came over and was like he could do gel overlay, fucking liar; if instead they would've said that they don't do gel overlay and dip powder from the start I wouldn't have gotten my nails done. However, I went along and let Lee do my nails. While smelling like straight cigarettes, the old man went on to do my nails, my nails look like a little ass kid painted them. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACEEEEE. I guess I have to take this L. But it's is very pathetic how this man Lee thought I was going to pay full price... hahahaha at the end of the day don't go here at all. The aesthetic of this place looks very nice, but don't be fooled read more

I wanted to give a 3 and a 1/2. Place is clean and I was greeted immediately. I went on a Sunday at 10:30am and there was not many customers . Angie did my feet and she was great, really cleaned the nail well. Here is when problem #1 came, Angie only does feet so I had to wait for someone to come get me for nails took about 10 minutes. But I had to go to the bathroom and Angie helped removing my soak off. Then on to my nails I could not get the name of employee because after asking twice I could not hear her. She worked fast and the shape is perfect. Problem #2 the color I picked was totally different on my nail. This was not the nail techs fault maybe the product, we never figured it out. The issue was that about 3 people were speaking another language about my color but no one asked me for ideas. Finally we figured something out, it wasn't what I wanted but I do not hate it. Overall, ok experience. read more

This place is overpriced. $45 for a mani/pedi and they use cheap nail polish that chips easily. Positives: * shop is big so you'll be able to sit with your friends * clean, the tools are zip packed so you don't have to worry * you get free drinks (water, tea, wine, etc) * for waxing they listen to what you're saying and do a good job Cons: * cheap nail polish. Considering the whole point of coming here and the price, would it kill them to have opi or Essie or other better quality brands * they rush you out. It's not relaxing if they're pushing you in and out. * they didn't use dryers on any of our nails? For the price and the service, I'd go elsewhere. read more

I thought my memory must have exaggerated my pedicure experience here. Nope. I was definitely correct. The pedicures here are very long and luxurious. Tiffany has consistently done an amazing and thorough job. She is very focused and meticulous which is refreshing. So far I only have two issues which is why this place is getting four stars. Sometime they don't honor the reservations promptly. I had to wait nearly twenty minutes even though I made a reservation days ago. I also don't like they always try to upsell you something else. Whether it's a waxing or a fill in. That gets old. Aside from these two problems I love this place. read more

Alright yelp readers, today turned into a hot mess of a day. But I wanted to salvage it by doing something for me. The only reason I chose this place was because a yelper commented on a post I wrote and suggested this place. I would say first impression not so much. There was a woman sitting on the couch, she got up quickly and said hi. But then this is where I had doubts she didn't know what she was talking about. I was getting a manicure, I knew that going in. I told her I wanted something good for my nails and hands because there in chemical water often. She was like what you want. She said acrylic would help my nail grow. I asked her how because I have slow growing nails. I'm expecting a comment like not enough vitamin or something but she just repeated it and seemed annoyed. The woman who did my nails goes by Michelle but I got her real name because I thought she was wonderful. Her name is Minh Troung. I'm a pedicure gal, but my hands were Rrrufffff. I got the spa subdirectory green tea and I loved it she really took care if nails and made them nice. Gave a great massage to my hands. I got a design on my pinky and she was great at hearing what I wanted and delivered. She is good with color and knowing what works. I recommend her highly! My friend was with me, and she made a comment how relaxing it was and she wasn't getting her nails done. Great classic modern look and you get wine. I would have paid for it but it's free so Yay! Them in that. I did spill it and the lack of attention to a customer making a sound to signify something happened no one acknowledged me. When Minh came back she was concerned but I had cleaned it up myself. Overall great environment, prices are a bit higher but I think you will get what you pay for. I just got a mani, I paid twenty and a design for 5, cannot complain I left happy. For a manicure I will be going back idk about pedicures yet. But so far, it is a good place. Either way, fellow readers good place to try. Thanks to the comment from Silverback S. I thought about giving this place a try but I only really went for it because of the comment. Smile! read more

I go here for pedicures and book with Kathy. She is always on-time and professional. Very sterile and pleasant environment. I can completely unwind...and they actually use quality products. It's also the first salon that I've been to that uses actual cleaning products. They disassemble the drains to thoroughly clean the bowl and its components. I appreciate the effort. The decor is very modern and posh. It exceeded my expectation for a strip mall nail salon but even with all of that...your experience will vary according to your technician. I honestly didnt have much luck with other technicians prior to Kathy and am glad I found her. Shes great! Thus place us great for groups. I was introduced to this place about 2 years ago when I was invited to a ladies spa day and have been a patron ever since. 4 stars due to tipping options. You cant add a tip when paying with your card. I rarely carry cash so stopping to the bank before my appointment is a bit out of my norm (plus I dont want to pay the fees). The last time I was there they were installing an ATM machine (the fee was about $1...excellent) but it was glitchy. I'm sure they have worked out the kinks by now. Additionally, at one point they used to serve a glass of wine and mimosas for you to enjoy with your pedicure...that is no longer an option. I understand the liability issues that may arise by continuing that practice and wont complain about that too much but it was a sweet deal! read more

I went in for a pedicure with a coworker and received great service. They offer a variety of complimentary drinks as well as add ons to their services, for an additional charge, but I just went with a regular pedicure and am satisfied with the outcome. I didn't have time for a manicure so I came back a couple of days later. They were very accommodating and at least three people helped me search for the gel color to match my toes. I believe the young lady who did my nails was named Thuy. She was very attentive and made sure that I liked my nails every step of the way (length, shape, color, etc.) I love my nails, I am only giving 4 stars because it was a bit more expensive than I usually pay for my mani/pedis. read more

I came here fire the first time and have now found my nail salon and a great technician named Tiffany The place may look small on the outside but when you walk in, you will be pleasantly surprised. The place is huge! I got there after 7 and asked for a manicure and a pedicure. I was worried that they would be closing soon but after I was seated and Tiffany started, my worries floated away. They offer complimentary drinks as you get worked on. As I relaxed in the massage chair, I got an excellent pedicure. I sat down for my manicure and noticed it was after 8 but I wasn't rushed and my gel manicure came out perfectly. The salon is organized and very clean. They are well staffed abd everyone was very friendly. They offer a 10% discount when you pay with cash. .. what a great deal! I will definitely be back and will tell all my friends. read more

So I see that I'm not the only one who thinks Tony is the worst. I requested the 40 minute pedicure that was poorly done in 25 minutes. Tony was on the phone most of the time. His mask stayed below his nose. Modo falsely advertise that each person gets their own file and buffer. The toe separators appeared to be used. Went to this place on June 3, 2021. Upon walking in they have signs that say cashapp only to pay for services received. My temperature was taken and I was told, "you're too hot". Meanwhile it's somewhat of a hot day outside so I said, it's hot outside. I was told to pick a color and they'd "try again". Not even an entire 60 seconds later did he take my temperature again and it was "significantly lower . I booked an appointment online for Tony to get a pedicure. Didn't really receive great customer service. Instead of being asked to reposition myself he tugged and PULLED at my legs to get my feet to reach a certain point (as i am short). I sat in the chair 3:13 and he finished the pedicure at 3:35. While giving me the massage his nails continuously scratched me. At the end of the service I paid via Cashapp & he wanted to pretend he didn't get the payment . In short, this was by far the second worst pedicure experience ever. I will not be returning. I only gave this place 2 stars because while service was horrible it was a nice establishment. They have a bar, very nice pedicure area, pretty chandeliers but it kinda looks messy with all the things they've done to "protect" you against the virus. One star is for the beautification of the establishment; the other star is for the nail polish color cause it's gorg & it's not even gel. read more

The atmosphere is amazing . However, the skill set is lacking . This over-priced nail place charges customers top dollar to train folks who are just starting out. This was my first and my last time going there! The Tech told me they were busy and that they don't have time to do my lashes. My nails look awful than she had the nerve to catch an attitude because I wanted the polish fixed and on top of that she cut me. The work is sloppy!! My French manicure lines aren't straight. They are over priced and you don't get what you pay for!!! I asked for a pedicure which was $35 (I was ok with that), I wanted French $5 (I was ok with that) and gel polish $25....what! Not happy with that!! Really, never again. read more

A friend and I went here to get our nails done. We sat down at the same exact time, got the same exact gel manicure and my nail tech finished my nails 25 mins before my friends. First, she removed my current gel polish with a "quick polish remover" put of a nail polish bottle instead of soaking them (much like elsewhere does). I had to ask her to go back and clean up a few cuticles that she pretended not to see. She rushed my entire entire process for NO REASON (they were far from busy). My entire gel manicure was done in about 20-25. Less than 2 days after getting my nails done they began to break. I have 3 nails that broke deep into my skin and the rest are as brittle / soft as they've ever been. They complete destroyed my nail bed. I HIGHLY recommend that you ask for a specific nail tech or GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! read more

Came here because I received a gift certificate to come here. Kathy did my nails. Nice nail tech but she did a rushed sloppy job on my SNS nails. My nails are bubbling and some of the tops look dry because they were not coated evenly with the top coat. I went back to the salon for her to fix but they still look bad. There was not hot towel for my hands, just the SNS duo powder. I did not feel pampered and my nails don't look neat, the SNS dip powder was not bugged out evenly and as stated before some of the roofs are matte while the rest of the nails is shiny. I thought I'd give this place a try since it's not too far from my house and I received a gift card but I will not be returning. I will stick to my regulars nail salon and nail tech in Beltsville. read more

Scheduled an appointment for a specific nail tach today at 1pm. I arrived 5 minutes early and was told the tech was on his way. My husband and I patiently waited. Meanwhile a woman walked in and said she was early for her appointment with the tech I was waiting on (Tony). She was told I was first. After 5 more minutes I was asked if it was ok for the owner to remove my polish while I wait. Now Tony arrives while the owner is removing my polish and instead of taking me for my appointment he takes the woman who came in after me. I was pissed! I was tricked in to being serviced by someone else I didn't request and am not completely happy with my service. This is my last time going here. They lost a customer. read more

I recommen Seynat, she is the best technician they have!!!i gave them one star because supposedly it's a place treat yourself and relax but there's been many time where the MANAGER ( old guy that's always in the register) has yelled at his employees Infront of their customers, which makes the place very tense and unprofessional, specially when you spent more then 300 dólar to treat yourself. My daughters and I felt uncomfortable with the situation, the customers around us caught on, and by the look of their faces they felt uncomfortable as well. We explained to him that it is looks unprofessional and disrespectful to yell at his employees in front of the customers ibut he said their was rules they had to follow and wasn't understanding the point. At the end we didn't feel sorry for the person he yelled at, we felt sorry for this guy who is lock of professionalism and leadership. read more

The only person I can trust to do my nails with meticulous care is Tee. She's been doing my nails forever and I continue to go to her even though this shop is so far. First time coming here, I love it will definitely be back. My nail tech Tee took her time and didn't rush.

This was probably the worst nail experience that I've had in years. Not only was the customer service lacking, but the quality of nails was also subpar. I walked in, picked my color (they do not have a large selection of colors) and was quickly seated. My technician was quick and rough with my pedicure, but my SNS manicure was the worst. She never asked what shape I wanted my nails, but instead just started doing whatever she wanted. The SNS powder and all over my cuticles and skin, because she used way too much adhesive. Then when she was "done" there was so much adhesive under my nail and on my skin, I honestly couldn't believe she thought that was a professional job. Then when she was "done" she just got up and walked away, didn't say "wait to dry," "thanks for coming," NOTHING. I will NEVER visit this place again. read more

Nice clean place. They auto clave and individually wrap their tools. A huge salon. The OPI selection was a little lacking but they do have some more in other places a glass cabinet. It looked locked so I didn't bother it. Mimi was my pedicurist and she also did my brows. Mimi provided interesting small talk and she was quick and precise. She provided me with a complimentary wine immediately. She tried to upswell a mani and eyebrows but was ok when I said no. She did an excellent job on my feet. I give it 4 stars because she made my brows thinner than I asked for but they still looked great. She kept my overall shape. They have a drying station which I sat at for a while before I left. I would give it 4.5 but I can't. I will come back. read more

I am sure this is a great nail salon but I just need to comment how disgusted I was today when two different male techs were outside and did two illegal things. After smoking a cigarette, each of them threw the butt into the ground, littering the sidewalk. One of them spat on the sidewalk in front of the store before returning to work. All of this is very unsavory. It was a turnoff so I won't be getting my nails done there. There are ordinances against littering and spitting. read more

My go to for pedicures must be called out here for being wonderful ! The nail technicians I've met have all been lovely and personable and the prices are GREAT for what you get. Also, you get 5% off if you pay in cash-- and that's for ANY service! I usually get the orange blossom pedicure, which is a wonderful experience ! It consists of a lower leg massage and cleansing oils and a delicious smelling orange peel scrub that leaves your skin not only smelling good, but, FEELING smooth and airy! All that is $30 (or $28 if you pay cash)..Not to mention, they offer snacks and soft drinks for $1 and wine / Champaign for only $2 a glass! This place is a winner and I recommend it very very highly! read more

I'm actually not surprise so many others had given this place a horrible rating. Please take everyone's warning. This is the worst place in the Laurel city. Do not waste your time or money on this place! A friend of mine warned me about their customer service when she was forced to stand up for herself after she was told to get out. She asked about their metallic gel prices. One man told her a price, but when she asked another worker, she told her a much higher price. She responded "Never mind, I will go somewhere else." The lady said "Then get out!" I have never been in a nail salon that is so blatantly rude to others. After being warned i still decided to go get my lip waxed. Yesterday, I was given a wax however after leaving I realized, all of the hair was not gone. Simple fix right? No! When I went back, thinking "if I'm nice, they will understand and fix their mistake". The woman who waxed me tried again but this time she was rushing and was a lot more forceful. She was ripping and tugging away the wax paper then rushed me out. I will never go again! Ever! It's so convenient because the salon is in the shopping center where I work but they will never get my service again. If I can find another place to file a complaint I will! read more

Took my mom there a couple of days ago while I was visiting her from Florida. I wanted her to get her eyebrows tinted so I looked this place up through yelp. Got there and no one greeted us, had to ask for help. Then the older male person that came to assist us assigned a lady to help my mom and that lady said she didn't want to do that. Shocking and at that point I should've turned around and left but I really wanted my mom to get this done. Finally somebody else came to do it and it was pretty terrible at the end and very expensive for what I'm used to paying. It was $35 plus tip to get her eyebrows tinted and you could barely see it plus add the terrible service and unfriendliness of the whole staff we came in contact with. As a result, we will not be returning to this place ever again. read more
