Chris is the best! Book your appointment! She took my brows from zero to hero with micro blading! I was not doing a good job at drawing them in each day. She made me feel comfortable and she was very professional. She did a great job of communicating throughout the entire process to make sure we stayed on the same page to achieve a perfect final look. I have received so many compliments in just the first couple of days!

I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH! Chris is absolutely talented and has a true passion for what she does. She was able to last minute, accommodate me for my lashes and eyebrows. I immediately felt so comfortable and I trusted her working on my "virgin" brows! She educated me from beginning to end. The pictures speak more than words can express! Thanks Chris for for turning me into a diva lol!

Microblading before and after! My eyebrows look so good afterwards, it looks like I got my lashes done!

I've gotten classic lashes and eyebrow tinting several times at Shaded Beauty Bar, which I loved! Her safety measures, cleanliness, ambiance and customer service are exemplary! I previously got microblading somewhere else about 4 years prior and it had finally faded into oblivion, so of course I sought out Shaded Beauty Bar! She let me know that I had some pretty extensive scarring in my eyebrow skin from the prior microblader, and my eyebrow skin had developed some serious green undertones from whatever ink was used previously. Also, the prior ink was unevenly placed) or my face is uneven ). And I have very little actual eyebrow hair from the 90s ! With all those factors in mind, she told me not to get my hopes up because it was going to take her best skills, some prayers and a miracle to repair my brows! Well, Shaded Beauty Bar is a miracle worker! She took extensive measurements and numbed me well then proceeded to give me the loveliest microbladed brows ever (virtually painlessly)! And they'll only get better after my retouch appointment in 5-8 weeks! She even gave detailed and clear post-care instructions. The microblading cost is more than reasonable for her expertise and superior customer service! Thank you so much Shaded Beauty Bar!

Microblading done by Chris @ Shaded Beauty Bar

I got my eyebrows microbladed by Chris @ Shaded Beauty Bar and OMG I am sooo pleased!! I have been contemplating doing it for a while and finally I decided to go for it...Best decision EVER!! Wish I could have done this sooner! My brows are fuller, beautiful, and natural looking...she definitely gave my brows life! Chris did an amazing job! She was very professional and informative and really made me feel comfortable. The process was smooth and pretty much painless...I highly recommend her and if you are considering it go for it she is awesome and definitely knows what she is doing!!

Meh... Let me start with the fact that I have never worn anytime of false lash... Because I was new…read moreto the whole false lash thing I wanted to do strips that way if I didn't like it it wasn't a big commitment.. When I went in to talk to Kimberly I feel like she was trying to talk me out of the strips which is a huge turn off for me... When they were done I felt like they were too long for my eyes then barely extended the width of my natural eyelash... Which then made it awkward as she still had to finish my nails.. I ended up taking them off as soon as I got home... Let me say though she was doing individual lashes when I got there and thoses seem to be a strength for her as the girls lashes looked really good and natural.. She was also super nice and did a pretty decent job with my Gel Polish manicure. Also she was located in a salon suite which wasnt noted anywhere on her website so naturally I drove around in circles before finding the place :( Salon suites also freak me out, but that's my own personal issue)... UPDATE: a day later the gel polish started to peel up.. I feel like I just threw my money out the window!

I went to Kimberly for semi-permanent lashes on Feb 26th. The first few days the lashes looked…read morepretty. However, a week later the lashes begin to twist and turn. I discovered that the placement of many of the lashes were not isolated. Basically I had 2 or 3 lashes to 1 lash. This is not the appropriate way to apply lashes. By March 8th I had enough, so I went back to Kimberly and asked her to remove them. She stated that she would not be able remove them for another few weeks because the adhesive she use was so strong and that the stuff she uses to remove lashes would burn my eyes since the lashes were placed very close to my lids. I was dumbfounded. Why would she apply lashes that can't be removed without my eyes burning? At any rate, I left her studio frustrated. While Kimberly is a nice lady, she is not an expert and needs more practice. She should also be more professional and explain the process of getting lashes. Well today I just could not take it no longer! I contacted Lash Moi in Bowie, MD and they charged me $30 to remove the lashes. Lash Moi is very upscale and professional lash salon. It took the lady (Daschia) no more than 20 minutes and I did not experience any pain or burning and she was able to save my own lashes. I know this is a long review but I feel that Kimberly is novice and needs more training. But again, she's a very nice lady!

Fancyluxedolls - Brows as of Sept. 2022. I would like little strokes of hair on the top and more of a defined line at the top. Otherwise, they are perfect!

The best investment you'll make if you're tired of trying to draw your eyebrows on evenly, worried…read moreabout smearing them/wiping them off ( this was my fear) or if you simply would like to save time in your beauty routine. I tried the ombré brows at Fancy Permanent Beauty aka Fancy Luxe Dolls and I love my results. lnitially, I was scared because I thought it would be painful. Fantasi numbed my brows and I didn't feel a thing. I think I feel asleep during our second session, lol. My brows started peeling (scabbing over, it wasn't noticeable) a week later. The end results were gorgeous. I'm constantly receiving compliments and sharing where I got my brows done, especially after I get them threaded!! My threader wants to get her brows done as well. I got my brows done in December 2021 and it's September 2022. I think I need a touch up, but only in the front (my threader agrees). The rest of my brows are nice and dark and still have a beautiful shape/shading. This time around, I'm going to try the combo brows, so the front (where I don't have much hair) look more like strokes of hair vs the shading. I can't wait!

I hate that I have to write this review but it is needed for other lash artists who are interested…read morein working in this salon. Fantasi is very talented at what she does but to say that this is a positive working environment would be a lie. Fantasi is very unprofessional and passive-aggressive. I worked at the salon for 9 months and truly enjoyed working there initially. I learned a lot and gained experience, which I probably would not have if I did not come to work there. Fantasi trains her employees but only to a certain extent. She will train you and then when it is time to put what you have learned to work she wants to control when you can provide the service. She trained me on Microshading. Once, I started booking models, she blocked me from having access to the site and told me that she was not looking for a brow artist. She tells me this after I had already purchased almost $500 worth of equipment. I did not allow that to deter me because she is the owner. After a few days, her energy seemed a bit off. I did not pay it any mind because as a grown woman, I do not feed into attitudes. Fast forward to November 12, 2021, I attempted to log onto my account to confirm my clients for the next day. I was at that point blocked from the entire site. How do you block your employee from having access to their OWN CLIENTS! I texted her about the issue. Did not get a response. I followed up with her the next day and her response was, "oh we will talk about that". She never had a conversation with me. I left the salon for the day. Then I thought, this is not a working environment that I think I should continue working in so I decided to return to the salon and pack my things. At this point, she had not paid me, so I called her to obtain an update as to when I would receive my pay. She was a week late paying me, might I add. As an employer, your employees should never have to reach out to you to pay them. I called her in a professional manner to request an ETA on my pay. Guess what her response was? We need to talk about that because I want to know how you are going to pay for your training. I am shocked at this point because we never discussed me paying for training. Her response was, well I heard you were leaving the salon and you did not have a conversation with me, so you can pay for your training and subtract the cost of the kit and I will give you your certificate. Unprofessional right? She then goes down a long list of things I have done wrong. Why she would just now be bringing this up instead of addressing it when it happened, I do not know. I get to the salon to pack my things to find out that she had changed the locks and packed all of my things, without my permission and once again, without having a conversation with me. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. As a business owner if you have someone working in your salon, how do you not communicate issues or concerns? Make it make sense. Then the next day, she called my clients confirming their appointments as if I would be at work that day. I had already contacted my clients to let them know that I would not be returning. VERY SNEAKY. I would not recommend working here. There is definitely more to the story but this seems to justify why it would not be a good idea to work there. All of this over some he say she say and her lack of effective communication. She also refused to refund MY clients for appointments they pre-booked to see me. She tried to use the non-refundable deposit policy as a reason why they could not be refunded. Very sad. I hope this helps someone who is interested in working here. For all of my clients, that I was not able to reach due to her blocking me, you can follow me on Instagram and book through the link in my bio! @taylahhdemiartistry
