Will tell you 5 minute and will have your feet soaking for 30 minutes to secure your service instead of being honest. No updated nail design experience, she will push you towards flower designs from 1995 and will upcharge you for new designs to discourage you from choosing it. I came in, she did my nails and told me she can't do my toes anymore because her next appointment has arrived despite her commitment to me. Took my teen here for a fill in and 2 repairs on Friday, by Monday afternoon 3 of the nails were broken. Two of the three included the two nails that were repaired. We chose this place because it's conveniently located near the meals on wheels office where we volunteer. We've both had pedicures here multiple times which was always nice for the most part depending on the the technician that services you. The nail tech or gentleman that serviced us Friday drilled her nails so thin that they pretty itch popped off really easily. Maybe tips aren't their strong suit. She loved her color and customer service was decent. The salon wasn't packed. We were finished within an hour to and hour in a half. The shop is clean and it looks like sterile implements are being used. I will visit again for pedicures not sure my teen will visit again though. read more

My original appt was with Annie she was busy after she called me to come in earlier. My pedicure was okay not the best which someone else did, when it was time for full set she had 3 different people prep my nails finally I tell the guy the nails are not ballerina style he said I fix no worry. I've been going to Pro Nails regularly for a few months now, so I thought it was about time to add my review. Firstly, I can only attest to their service when it comes to manis because I have to gotten anything else done here. This salon is really clean and organized. They have a great selection on OPI, Essie, and China Glaze polishes. They also carry a variety of gel colors. A full set is $20 and a fill-in is $16. There aren't any hidden charges or surprise fees when it comes to these guys. They really care for their customers and it shows in their work. I've been to a couple nail salon in the past that won't service someone if they come too close to closing time. Last night I got there 15 minutes before closing and not only did they service me, but they also allowed another girl to come in 10 minutes after they closed! I literally pass 5 nails salons on my way to Pro Nails, but it's worth it bc their team is excellent. read more

I have been here twice now. This time stood out to me. I had such a pain in my toe for almost 2 weeks now! I mean OUCH!!!!!!! I can here for a pedicure just now and I got seated right after I picked my color. When the nice lady came to me and got started I showed her the hurt spot and ask her to be careful she said that is a in grown toe nail and it will hurt for me to remove it but it has to go would you like me to remove it? I said yes please. She did an awesome job on recommending to me on what to do. I felt like I was at the doctor's... lol She went right to work and put in 100%. FAR FROM a half was job she did it wonderfully!! She went above and beyond! As soon as she removed the nail from under the side of my big toe it immediately started to feel better. Wow just wow experience is what I say. I would have given this place 10 stars solely off the one lady who did my pedicure. The nail techs are extremely friendly even though their English is not all that great. The shop is delightfully clean, the decor is above average, and the overall ambiance is nice. As far as the quality of the nails... Well, when I first left the shop my nails looked glamorous (as they should have), but after just a few days, they began to look less than desirable. Even with the great service, in the nicely decorated salon, I don't think I will be going back to give them $60 for a full set of nails that doesn't even make it through one week of normal wear. I could understand if I would have went somewhere and paid $20 for my full set, but when I pay 3 times that amount, I expect to have a quality result! With that being said.... I decided to check out Pro Nails because of the great reviews read on here, and needless to say I was not disappointed with the results. Pro Nails gets docked a star as they didn't open on time when I went. Not a good first impression as I had a wedding to attend that day....I went on a Saturday and I got there just before they opened at 9am. I noticed one nail tech waiting when I pulled up, then another came just at 9am. So 9am rolls around and it's still closed, 9:15am still sitting in my car and finally the owners come and open the shop at about 9:30am. REALLY?? I didn't have much room to get mad, as one of the girls apologized as soon as I walked in, so fair enough. I had Le (pronounced Lee) as my tech and he was great!! The staff there aren't very friendly, Le didn't talk at all which is okay because I don't always feel like chatting either. As a first timer I didn't see a menu of services nor was I provided with one, so I asked and because they're very reasonably priced I got a pedicure w/callus remover, and French manicure for my hands. Great place! Not the fanciest place but clean. They don't have a huge selection of polish but if your into gel color this is your place. My nail tech was Na, she was the bomb. I showed her a picture of the nail shape I wanted and she did exactly what I wanted. She also did my pedicure I was very pleased but like I said earlier not a great selection of regular polished. The next day the acrylic was lifting on 3 nails, I go back for repair on friday. The lady, im guessing owner/manager instead of offering an apology tries to tell me some people have oily skin - not my first time having tips never had lifting after 2 days-no problem with full set lifting, so no, just poor quality work. I just went to Pro Nails based on the other reviewers experiences, and I have to say it was impressive! Its located on Rt 1 between Fat Daddy's Saloon and the Thift Store. I had the Callus Remover pedicure and the woman took so much time with me! My feet feel amazing! The massage was incredible and she included some reflexology. The massage chair was pretty great, but not as great as the lady. The only thing holding me back from 5 stars is that I asked her to leave my big toe nails long, and only to file them, no clippers. Before I even noticed she cut them off. Now they are too short and I'll have to grow them out! The paint job wasn't too good, but with that massage I'm not upset! It was a small place and not busy. I went here based on yelp reviews and the fact that its around the corner from my house. It's in a new business/apartment style complex next to the thrift store on Rt. 1. When I went in I was greeted, offered a drink and promptly taken back to the pedicure chair. I just got a basic pedicure and she did a great job. They are having a summer special where you get a basic pedicure for $20 which is pretty awesome! They appear to have other great mani/pedi combos at pretty good prices compared to what I normally pay. The shop has a cute decor as mentioned and was a pleasant place to be. Didn't have many brands of polish and it was kind of busy on a Wednesday night. I just needed a polish fix on two shellac nails that were messed up and didn't have enough time to go back to the original salon that made the error. I needed an OPI color (they don't carry that brand) but I was willing to match with another brand/color. Went based off of other reviews, and I don't regret it. My mani/pedi (gel color on nails) was $50...Not bad and is pretty!! They used Gellish brand for my gel nails. Andy was cool and did a good job even with me arriving at 7:40, when they close at 8pm. I will admit the reg pedi doesnt have my heels feelin as smooth, so next time I'll inqure abt addtl services. I'll give this place 3 starts SOLELY because they got a nasty ingrown toe nail I had out that's been irritating me for months. I usually go to another place, and the gel polish lasts forever, but my ingrown toe nail was never properly attended to so I decided to give this place a shot. I was seen relatively promptly for a walk in which Was nice. I received a pedicure and gel manicure and As previously stated, they got a terribly, on the verge of tears, painful ingrown toe nail out - which was simply amazing!! However, my toe nail polish was chipping the very next day, so I went in to have it fixed. They touched it up with no charge which was great. They didn't do a very good job on my manicure, painted past my cuticle so of course only a week later, ALL of my polish on my hands are completely gone due to lifting and chipping from being improperly polished. I'll be forever grateful for the ingrown toe nail they got out, and honestly, their prices aren't that bad either. But, I'll only be going to get my ingrown toe nail out in the future, and not for actual manicures or pedicures. I'll be going to my other place, which is a shame, because the other place I go to is more expensive. I guess it's true what they say though - "You get what you pay for" read more

They only have two people who can do nails well and if you don't get one of them you are SOL as they say. They did a horrible job (lack of experience/expertise) and when I went back to ask them to fix a nail that cracked they left me sitting there for almost an hour after making a appointment to come at the time I did. I went a different place for my toes and I never realized how crappy I've been treated all these years-they actually care about their customers being satisfied-dont expect that from Pro Nails! Shop is under new ownership as of 04/10/19. I was nervous about going in because I was looking for the previous tenants. Current special is 20% off. I got a manicure/pedicure with regular polish. I added on a scrub. It wasn't on the menu as an add-on but they did it for me. I was very pleased and they have an amazing range of colors. She offered me the dip and gel but I told her I preferred polish. There's a young man with glasses that did my pedicure...great job and the short lady with the pony tail did my nails. I went for the first time yesterday evening after some much needed pampering prior to a long appointment coming up an hour later. I walked in and right away asked if I would be able to get a mani/pedi within 1 hour so that I could make my appointment and they quickly obliged. There was no one else waiting. I was serviced by Anna, who is very nice, communicable and thorough. She did a great job, with time to spare! The regular mani/pedi was $30, which is a great price, to me. The shop is clean, uncluttered and nicely equipped with flat screened tv's. There were not a lot of distractions, additional chitter chatter, kids running around or anything else that would generally take away from your mini-oasis. I stumbled across this gem on a Sunday evening after having stopped in to Tantastic and some other nail shop on 198 that turned me away 30 minutes before closing time saying there was not enough time to do a fill-in for me despite both having several empty nail stations and unoccupied nail techs. I decided to try one last place, being Pro Nails and all these months later I am so glad I did. I was promptly greeted by a very pleasant and inviting Lily who confirmed that they would in fact be closing within minutes but that she would be more than happy to do my fill in and full pedicure!!! She kept me engaged with great and humorous chat during my service while still giving focus to my manicure unlike alot of nail techs that speak amongst themselves in their own language but don't offer a client conversation. She took her time with both my hands and feet and the finished product was superb. My hand painted abstract designs were the talk of all my girlfriends and now they try to emulate Lily's work. The cost was just as exceptional as when it was time for me to pay I was shocked and delighted at how inexpensive my total was. I hadn't spent so little on a visit to the nail shop in years and certainly hadn't felt so satisfied with the overall service experience and the awesome polish/shaping/fill-in job from any shop I've visited in recent months. I have been going back ever since and have not had a disappointment or complaint. They even do individual lash extensions very well for low cost. Called ahead of time for a mani/pedi and when arriving another customer was told "oh sorry I have an appointment now so she's ahead of you." Now that puts me in a predicament of remorse when this should be a good experience. Furthermore, when getting a pedi, there were some sanitary issues. I was then taken to the nail dryer and left there for 45 minutes. Then I was asked if I want to pay now, thinking I would get my mani next, nope they said okay you're done have a good night and charged me $5 more than what was quoted on the phone. Giving the business the benefit of the doubt, I called back to explain the situation and thought perhaps maybe they were just too busy and I was told I would have to pay $12 more for a manicure WTF!!! So I hate to be the barrier of bad news and completely disagree with the other reviewers...however...I didn't have such a great experience. I went in this past Saturday based off of the other reviews hoping that I would walk out feeling like a polished diamond, instead I walked out irritated to say the least. I started off with a pedicure which wasnt bad at all (hence the 2 stars), next up..fill in!! Ding Ding Ding! This is where the irritation comes. The nail tech had an excuse or reason for E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G. pertaining to my nails if I had made a comment...For example: Me: Can you make them a little more flat, not so curvy? Tech: It's the way your nail grows. Me: Can you make it a little more square? Tech: If you look here, it seems like your nail grows out this way. Me: Can you clean the polish off of my skin on the side? Tech: Sure but your nails flow into your skin......WTF?!??!?!?! SERIOUSLY DUDE!!! Nail techs are very rude, or won't even talk to you unless you look like you're going to spend some money. Lily in question is not the kindest person. I found her rude and unprofessional; I don't even like conversating with people, but she never even asked my name. On 5/14 I had an appointment with her at 1pm and I called to see if she was free and she said she was, but when I got there she was busy and didn't even acknowledge my presence. So i decided to try this place because i was on a tight schedule and needed something closer to home, and im glad i did! Lilly was my nail technician and she was very personable and did a wonderful job on my French pedicure! The place itself is very clean and the tools are sanitized (very important to me of course). Did i mention the massage chairs are great!? For $35 i had a deluxe pedi that included a leg/foot massage with hot stones (hot stones are my weakness lol). My regular pedicure guy was too busy to see me today so I consulted Yelp to find an alternative. SO happy I did! The place was packed so I waited patiently for the next available tech. Na gave me the best pedicure of my life!!!! I got the deluxe pedi and as busy as she was she didn't rush at all. It included several masks, a scrub, hot stones and an awesome massage. Well worth the $35! Everything was clean and nice and came directly out of sanitation equipment and was then sprayed Down again with barbicide and alcohol (though you may want to request a new file or buffer). I get compliments on my nails all the time. They want to help your nails stay healthy and strong.
