Megan is super great and did a beautiful job styling my hair and gave me a great deal

WARNING!!! NO REFUNDS!!! EXCHANGE ONLY UP TO 7 DAYS!!! They offer discounts for Yelp reviews. They don't tell you their policy and it's not posted. I definitely have, "buyer's remorse ". The product does straighten and it leaves a shine, however it isn't as easy to use. (I do use, Liquid Glass on my hair for shine). After, using the comb- it does leave fly aways, even when the tech did my hair. She actually used a flat iron and this comb. The results were straight hair. You have to push very firmly to get the hair through the comb. The hair has to be held in a very tight position. It's not as easy to do the curls, because of the shape of the comb. I kept hitting the power button. My hair comes out straight. Due the hair being straight I have to force it in between the comb teeth. Otherwise it just flows over comb teeth. I guess, I should watch a YouTube tutorial. Maybe, the reason you can't get a refund is because the product isn't worth the money. You can find similar products on Amazon for $20 and up. The highest price was like $50, that I saw. They call it a blow out comb, the box says a comb and go, but it's a straightener. They said it's guaranteed for life. They don't tell you that you have to pay $35 for the guarantee. Save your hard earned money and pass this place up. Watch out for Marvin he makes it sound so amazing and he's very sweet. They were supposed to give me the product for $175., but I was charged $200. Plus tax. That's the integrity they have. I just want people to be aware. Maybe try to see if you can use it, first. Maybe find one similar online. For me it's a red flag if a company doesn't offer refunds. Not to mention paying for a guarantee for the amount they charge for the product.

Stopped by today and tried the Glass Titan straighter , results were amazing and my hair still looked healthy , didn't not burn my fingers at all and not so much heat went into the hair , this proved my hair will not be getting damaged . Straightener was worth it. Thank you Marvin

At first, the saleswoman/OWNER CARMEN came off super friendly--lots of compliments and small talk--but it quickly started to feel forced and salesy. She kept repeating the same questions and wasn't really listening to what I was saying. I told her more than once that I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy anything, but she kept pushing, saying how good it looked and brushing past my hesitation. Eventually, I handed over my card without actually saying I wanted to buy it--I felt cornered. Right after the transaction, I said I didn't like it, and she immediately told me there were no refunds. Then she asked if I was okay, but by that point, it was already done. The whole thing felt more about getting the sale than actually caring if I was comfortable or happy with what I was buying. Definitely not the kind of experience I'd want to have again. read more

This is a review for the Modish C hair straightener. Like others I tried out some Modish C products at a wedding expo. The product they're pushing more is the blowout brush, but it didn't do much for my hair. I just don't think that one is effective at getting your hair to hold a curl. I straighten my hair at home anyway rather than using a curling iron so I used some of my event discount to get their hair straightener because I wanted to upgrade from the cheap $39.99 hair straightener I got at CVS ten years ago. Is this better than the CVS straightener? Yes. My hair feels very silky and looks much straighter even when I used this straightener at a medium heat setting. Is it the best product for the price I paid? Eh. Is it worth full price? Nah. read more

I am extremely disappointed from the quality and professionalism from this company. I came across them at a bridal show and was pressured to purchase this blowout brush. I was told that it does not get hot to the touch, which it does and I was told you can use it on wet hair, which you cannot. I have put in my full efforts to utilize this tool but it does not do anything for my hair. It has been a complete waste of money and an immense amounts or frustration. I have tried to reach out on multiple platforms about my disappointment and they do not respond. If you are so proud of your quality and customer care, you would allow for a return and a refund for this. read more

Customer service is great however I don't like the heaviness of the hair extensions and it doesn't stay in place . The clips are not as sturdy for the price and neither is the string "halo" I know policy is no returns but I'm going to try anyway. I did go back an hour later and still the sales person convinced me that it looked good . I tried today by myself and I'm not satisfied. Not practical or easy to do . Also, over priced for 150 mg of hair ? I will file a complaint with BBB if they don't compromise. Felt like a " pitch script" and I was distracted by my kids . Super bummed . read more

So looking at my bank statement it looks like this business' name is "Modish C NO RETURNS!" Because that's what appears. Very strange. You would think if you are confident in the product, you'd stand by it like a "money back guarantee " or something. Weird. Now I'm skeptical about how long it'll be until it breaks down. read more

During this visit my Mom brought her walker too even though she's fairly young, it's been hard to navigate the store because of how narrow it is, so she takes her time walking. This worker kept on following us, I noticed it at first but brushed it off but towards when we were about to make a purchase, my Mom noticed it too because they had been clearly being noticeable. They're not following the other mother and daughter. Just us. We should've just left the ones we added in our cart but this is a lesson, we will never come back because of that experience, it was very uncomfortable and it made us feel like they're thinking if we're gonna steal their $5 stuffs or what. This review is to give a shout-out to Ashley, the sales associate, for her superior customer service. When I arrived, I saw the line for order pickups on the 1st floor. Since the sale prices were still active, I decided to make some additional purchases. When it was my turn at the register, Ashley retrieved my online order from the back storage area. She verified my identity and completed the process. She also rang up the merch I chose while browsing the sales. Please note, there was a lot of customers, several registers were handling customer purchases. A man to the right of me came by to pickup an order for four items. Another sales associate couldn't find his order. Ashley said "it's in the storage area on the shelf to to right. Look on the bottom row, there is a note taped to his order." How in the world could she recall this specific order and know its exact location. Another customer to my left asked for a price check on two hats she was holding. Ashley to the rescue again! As she was looking up my account number, she used a hand-held device to scan the tag of the hats and tell the customer the price. She helped customers to the right and left of me while handling my transactions. I requested a gift receipt for some of the items and she quickly and efficiently placed those items in a separate bag with the receipts. I like shopping in person to choose or try on my purchases. I bought towels, pajamas, and sweaters. Occasionally, the online order works just as well and saves time. The quality of the goods and products at JC Penny's Department store is very good. SCAM ALERT: Bliss Hair used to be the best hair in LA. Now? Not so much. I spent over $1200 on…read morecurly Indian hair that tangled and matted immediately after putting it in. I called the owner and made her aware of the issue and she said she would call me back in 2 weeks when a new shipment comes in. Two of my friends purchased curly hair at the same time and had the same issue but was able to get a full refund. I was hoping I wasn't going to have the same experience but unfortunately mine was way worse. After 3 weeks and the attached bag of shedded/matted hair, I texted the owner and asked if I can come by to show her how bad the hair is. She calls me and is conveniently going out of town for 2 weeks and hasn't received the shipment of the replacement hair yet. But why did I have to follow up with you to see where the replacement hair is when you said you'd call me in two weeks? I should've known things would go downhill from here. The owner offers to replace the hair when she returns in two weeks but it won't be the same texture of hair that I'd originally purchased. So how exactly is that a replacement? So I ask if a full refund is an option - since I know she's already refunded two people for the same hair- then sis starts talking about how she doesn't have a job like me and can't afford to replace my hair and refunds are against policy. But yet she's already gone against policy by refunding my friends because she knew the hair wasn't good quality. Make it make sense. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. I was an idiot and spent $1200 on hair so you don't have to. Bliss Hair is giving over-priced dog hair with Beyoncé prices. It's the bad business for me. This is no longer the Rolls Royce of hair. Bliss Hair has officially aged out. ETA as of 8/21/2021 - I've received a refund for the hair.

They also have amazing curly hair. I love it! I miss it! I need to buy some more! It does not tangle. And if you put a thick curling iron to it'll straighten with a shine soooo fast. Joico is also the sister company of ISO who are both owned by the Shiseido company. The last few visits, I had my hair shampoo, condition and blow dried. All I was asked to do was to give them my opinions on how I felt the product performed on my hair. They sectioned two sides of my hair and wanted to know if the left or right side of my hair is more tangled, smooth, frizzy etc. That's it! They even offered me tea. I felt pampered and relaxed. For compensation, they will give you two full-sized products of whatever hair care you want from their company. They have the latest hair care line available too! Out of the three times I have been here, it didn't take longer than 45 minutes to finish. Unless, you do highlights or some other time-consuming treatment like that. They have two rinsing stations and two blow-drying stations; so the place is fairly small. They're looking for people of all ages, male or female, and any kinds of hair. The staff that works there is very amiable and makes you feel at ease. They are located on the 3rd floor of the building and only open on weekdays from 8am-5pm. Feel free to email or call Elsa about it!
