5- isn't enough for this place! Went for a coffee date with the hubs and our Chihuahua. Penny had the pup-cup and was lovingly welcomed! Hubs had the "Silos Ices Oatmilk Shaken Espresso," 2-thumbs up! I had their Cortado..... ¡muy delicisoso! So much to see there in the architecture... my eyes roamed the interior during our whole visit. The staff is AMAZING and so welcoming...instantly felt like family. Looks to be a fab venue site, as well. Can't wait to come back for breakfast and dinner with friends and fam. Great job, Silos! Wishing you alllll the best!

Belem was amazing! Attentive! Great atmosphere and delish food! Had a little hiccup and our next round was comped. Making good on a hiccup made the experience 10/10. Great new spot. Cool vibes. Welcome to the Central Valley!

My friends and I wanted to check out this place if just for the uniqueness of the space. Cool venue! We came for dinner and sat inside. It was warm and not too comfortable. The entrance did seem a little confusing but a hostess came to seat us. Our party had the blackened salmon and ribeye and we enjoyed it very much. It was tasty and well presented. For dessert we shared the churros and the chocolate cake. Both were delicious; nothing too special or different though. My friend had the spritz to drink and she liked it enough as it was refreshing. Staff personable and attentive and a man (probably owner, manager or chef????) checked in with us to see how our meals and experience was. I'd like to come back for breakfast/brunch. This place has a lot of potential so I'm excited to see how it improves.

Definitely mixed reviews & a lot of hesitation on the "Soft Opening" We came around noonish on a Saturday, told the hostess we did not have reservations, she told us our wait would be about 15 mins, ok that's fine, so we sat at the bar & was acknowledged by bartender, who gave us menus. Once he had given us the menus he never returned to ask us if we wanted anything. I had to stop him to ask for waters & told him we were waiting for our table, at which time he told us there was a table behind us that was empty from the moment we walked in. He said I don't know why she (the hostess) didn't know that. What a waste of time! We sat at the table, looking over the menu, approximately 20 minutes later get a phone call our table was ready. We ordered chilaquiles & Huevos Rancheros, specifically told the waitress no REFRIED BEANS on the Huevos Rancheros as we don't eat pork. I noticed a young man bring out our food to the couple at the bar. The bartender told the young man that the food was for us. He placed the plates on the table, I asked him for some utensils at which time, he took his bare hands & got us the proper utensils w/ no napkins. Chilaquiles was pretty good, the Huevos Rancheros had REFRIED BEANS, we told our waitress who politely showed us she wrote on our order NO REFRIED BEANS. She apologized & took the meal back & several minutes later returned w/ a new meal by then I had finished my meal. She didn't charged us for either meals. I am hoping staffing gets better & proper training as I believe there is potential at the new establishment & they can learn & grow from the SOFT OPENING.

New place, soft opening, The Silo was nice, sat outside, the staff were very nice, responsive( new and working the kinks out) and helpful. The Food was Great: We will be coming back!! Sat outside was very nice, the Tall silos keep the Area shaded and cool. The bar drinks were good, Looking forward to coming again.

The coffee here is so good. The baristas are so sweet too. My favorite is the silo's shaken espresso. Not too sweet not too strong.

Came here for the second time, since they've opened and it's improved so much. I just got a coffee to go but I took a look at the menu again and they added lunch items. I'm excited to try their dinner menu.

    Red and green chilaquiles.

Great to experience today. Beautiful facility and interesting history. I had the opportunity to speak to the owner and had a great conversation about the location. They had a busy flow in the morning abuelita mocha and chilaquiles hit the spot. Recommended it.

Staff were friendly and there were menus for the drinks and food. They also had indoor and outdoor seatings. Majority of their menu were handhelds and shareable which is understandable since it's more or a brewery/bar setting. I got the Caesar salad with no chicken as well as the truffle fries. Truffle fries were very good and seasoned. Caesar salad was okay, most of the lettuce was already soggy but i should have asked for the sauce on the side. It seems like their tacos and handhelds are really popular so I'll try that next time. Overall good foods and good times. I'll come back.

Sadly disappointed…read more My friends and I stopped by Commonwealth on a Saturday afternoon for a late brunch. It was a beautiful day so it was busy for both indoor and outdoor seating. Here, you order your food, grab a number, and find your own seat for the food to be brought out to you. We sat at a table outside to decide what to order. There were no menus available so we just had to search for it online before heading inside to order. Despite being third in line from the register, we had an extremely long wait to order. There was only one person running the register who also had to make the drinks, meaning the service incredibly slow. We wanted to order the five taco platter, garlic fries, chicken Caesar salad, and mimosa pitcher. Sadly, we were only able to get the pitcher and salad. The cashier told us "sorry, we aren't doing fries right now." Not doing fries? Every plate in the vicinity had fries on them. She said that because it was brunch hour, only food on the brunch menu could be ordered. We looked at the brunch menu again and literally saw garlic fries as an option as a side for the burgers/sandwiches. No where did it specify that you can't order off the other menu and both were available online. What bothered us about this is that we placed this order at around 1:50pm, and brunch ended at 2:00pm. I understand that we are not entitled to things on the lunch menu during brunch-time for items like the tacos, but considering the menu swap was less than 10 minutes away and they were quite literally were "doing fries" at the time, it didn't make much sense to us. The only food that we ended up ordering was the Chicken Caesar Salad. This one dish took a super long time to receive. By the time it was brought out, the three of us nearly finished the Mimosa pitcher. The waitress noticed we had no silverware and said she would go grab us some. Because of how the service had been going thus far, we placed a bet on whether or not the waitress would come back with the silverware. Surprise, surprise. She didn't. We had to go inside later and search for silverware ourselves. We weren't even able to get sharing plates which was upsetting since the waitress asked us if we would be sharing the salad. The salad itself looked delicious, but was bland. The dressing was missing that zing and zest that a Caesar dressing typically has. I do appreciate that is was a chopped salad, had avocado, and seasoned croutons. It is just unfortunate that it was lacking any flavor at all. The food prices are quite affordable for the quantity of food you receive though. This experience was disappointing because I was so optimistic about the place. The menu looked good, it had fun and casual vibes and a cool crowd of people. If Commonwealth worked towards better service practices, it would have been a more positive experience.

I have left wonderful reviews in the past for this place but I have to share my experience…read morerecently. My boyfriend and I have been to Standard Pub several times during the day, and every visit has been fantastic. We've enjoyed the food, drinks, and even had the pleasure of speaking with the owner on multiple occasions. The service was always welcoming, and the food was consistently phenomenal. Because of those great experiences, we decided to bring some friends on a Saturday night. We arrived around 7:30 PM, and the atmosphere looked promising. There appeared to be a DJ setting up, and the crowd seemed excited for a night of music, food, and drinks. Unfortunately, our experience that evening was completely different from what we had come to expect. We ordered food and drinks, and while our server wasn't outright rude, he seemed uninterested in providing the level of service we had previously received. As the night went on, things became increasingly odd. Shortly after ordering another round of drinks, while our drinks were still full and we had just received them, the server approached our table and asked if we were finished. My boyfriend jokingly responded, "No, let me talk to your manager," and laughed, assuming the server was joking as well. The server responded, "Yeah, it's my brother," but with an attitude that left everyone at our table looking at each other wondering what had just happened. He then informed us that we needed to put a credit card on file. At that point, we had already been there for over an hour, and it seemed strange that this requirement was only being brought up then. We also noticed that no other tables around us were being asked for a card. The most disappointing part came when we received the bill. There was an additional $60 service charge added--$35 on my friends' bill and $25 on ours. Confused, we asked for an explanation. The explanations we received kept changing. First, we were told it was because my boyfriend was sitting with another group, which was completely false. Then we were told it was because the bill exceeded $100. After that, we were told it was because there were more than six people in our party, despite there only being four of us. The inconsistent explanations were frustrating and made it feel as though the staff were simply making up reasons to justify the charge. Our issue wasn't necessarily with a service fee itself--it was the lack of disclosure and the conflicting stories we were given when we asked about it. To make matters worse, the receipt also included a separate line for an additional tip. After discussing it with them and explaining that additional charges should be clearly communicated to customers, the service charge was ultimately removed. This review is not a reflection of the food, which remains excellent, nor of our previous experiences at Standard Pub. It is solely based on the service and handling of the situation during our Saturday night visit. We left feeling disappointed and confused, especially because this establishment had earned our trust through many positive visits in the past. I sincerely hope this was an isolated incident and that management addresses these issues so other customers don't have a similar experience

Woman owned, plenty of seating, quite the selection of board games to play while hanging out. The beer selection, I have not seen one that extensive in a while, including ones brewed in-house!!! And affordable pricing as well! And they sell pizza (looked and smelled incredible, but I did purchase any when I went since I was still full from dinner). They have live music sometimes with a clever indoor/outdoor stage, which is also a perk. It was a very cozy, comfortable, and safe vibe going there, especially since I was there enjoying my drinks solo. The staff were very friendly despite the crowd and long line, happy to explain their "on tap" selections with only one offering being unavailable that evening. I had a Nitro Stout and then later a Cherry Cheesecake Pie Hard Seltzer, both brewed by them, and both were delicious. The hard seltzer did have all those flavor notes and it wasn't overly chemical sweetened, which I greatly appreciated. And I was so happy to see a darker beer option on their menu as the current trends tend to heavily favor the IPA's. Please support this awesome business, I look forward to bringing my significant other soon to play a board game or two over some brews and pizza!
