My mom was very involved in the design process, and Shir was able to balance both of our perspectives seamlessly -- which is no small task! She handled everything from major pieces like beds, couches, and chairs to smaller details like hardware, candles, and vases. Every choice felt intentional and cohesive. She really understood how to bring our modern-cozy vision to life while honoring the architecture of our Spanish-style home here in Southern California. Hiring Shir was absolutely worth it. Beyond her expert eye for design, you're paying for the time, clarity, and confidence that come with working with a true professional. We would've spent months second-guessing decisions (and probably made costly mistakes) trying to do this ourselves. Instead, we got a beautifully designed home that feels effortless and perfectly "us." Highly, highly recommend her for both big and small projects -- she's amazing at what she does.

From our very first meeting, Aggie looked at the space and immediately had a clear vision for its potential. What impressed me most was the sheer scope of what she took on: removing a wall, merging three rooms into one cohesive space, sourcing and coordinating all vendors -- a plumber for the water heater, a painter, concrete specialist, and electrician -- and personally quality-checking every aspect of their work. This wasn't just interior design; it was a full project management feat. Aggie also handled all the details I never would have thought of -- selecting the carpet and wall paneling, securing a discount on the paneling that she passed directly to us, designing a thoughtful lighting plan, and coming up with the brilliant idea of adding glass to the door to flood the space with natural light. The result is nothing short of stunning. And she did all of this in approximately ONE MONTH to accommodate our unexpected office relocation. The speed, quality, and professionalism were exceptional. If you're looking for a designer who can handle complex, large-scale projects with vision and efficiency, look no further.

We consulted Lisa once we had already embarked on the project although I wish we had done it sooner. From the beginning, Lisa made us feel welcome and comfortable even though this was not a million dollar project. We appreciated her positive attitude and generous spirit. She provided key input on layout, design and materials as well as expert vendor recommendations for window treatments, closet solutions, lighting, tiles, fixtures, wall coverings, furniture and decor. Her rates were fair and she was always mindful of our budget and time constraints when recommending ideas and solutions. Lisa took time to understand our aesthetic preferences. She worked tirelessly to make sure that the contractor/ vendors delivered high quality results and on time. When we had a small issue with the closet vendor, she immediately escalated it and made sure that the work was completed to our satisfaction. Her thoughtful recommendations and painstaking attention to detail were critical in delivering results which are beautiful, functional, and harmonize well with the rest of the house. Special kudos to her for the kids bedroom, bathroom and powder room- they are stunning thanks to her vision and selection of paint colors, wallpaper and / materials. Finally, we had a lot of fun working with Lisa. Her high energy, enthusiasm and sense of humor took a lot of the stress out of remodeling and made us feel good throughout the process. We really appreciated the opportunity to work with Lisa and hope we get to collaborate again with her in the future

I am convinced that her aesthetic work on the condo -- combined with a few refreshments that my contactor handled (fresh paint, new grout) -- elevated the realized sale price by multiple tens of thousands. Hiring Anna was the best expense I ever put into my home. I truly could not have found a better or friendlier stager for my first ever home sale. I found Anna through her 5-star Yelp reviews and her beautiful portfolio of past staging projects, and I saw her aesthetic (warm, modern, luxurious yet artistic, clean, bright) would suit my new-build modern condo and bring life into the space. So many designers are doing MCM or trendy vintage only, but Anna is truly versatile and knows how to amplify your space's existing virtues and maximize the home you have. When she was done staging my property, I was so in love with the space, I wanted to move back in and not sell it! In addition, Anna's price was more fair and competitive than any other stager I met with, and her team of movers were first-class professionals -- they completed the work in a quick one-day install and then completed a spotless removal once our sale closed. I didn't have to do anything to supervise (I was already out of state and my amazing real estate broker coordinated the whole project with Anna). More importantly, Anna generated desire and dreaminess for the home, which resulted in a realized sale price that exceeded my hopes. I truly cannot recommend Anna enough -- if I had another home to sell, or even a space to decorate, I would hire Anna again in a heartbeat and recommend her to all my friends. Talent, professionalism, a gifted aesthetic eye, and an unbeatable inventory of modern furniture and props -- Anna runs a gorgeous staging business and I feel so lucky she worked on my home.

Engaging in a contract with Meridith Baer Home has resulted in the single most WORST consumer…read moreexperience of my life. My husband and I incurred a financial loss of $21,000.00 after entering into a contract for home staging of our 5.5-million-dollar property located in Bluff Park (long beach) that we were preparing for sale. Our experience commenced when Mary from Meridith Baer Home visited our property for an initial consultation. Mary walked the property pointing to just about every piece of furnishing stating "this must go" and "this must go". Despite our home being fully furnished, Mary assured us that Meridith Baer Home could far improve on our current furnishings by implementing an elevated and cohesive transitional design utilizing new or near-new furnishings. Mary informed us that Meridith Baer Home "only utilizes furnishings ONCE or perhaps twice" before donating them. So, we signed the contract, gave Meridith Baer Home $21,000.00 and donated practically all of our furnishings, artwork, and accessories. The staging installation was scheduled as a two-day process. At the end of day one my husband and I went to the property to meet the designer and assess the progress. We were in utter disbelief of the condition and style of the furnishings that had been delivered. The furniture/furnishings were old, damaged, broken, stained, had a terrible odor, and in general, in terrible condition. Not the "transitional design using new furniture" that was promised by Mary or what is shown in Meridith Baer Home social media. We contacted Mary and arranged for a meeting first thing on day two. During our meeting, Mary, the project designer, our real estate agent, and myself conducted a walkthrough of the property. Mary agreed that all existing furnishings should be removed, and other furnishings should be brought in. We presented Mary with the broken furniture, stains on the sofa, odors in the rugs, and the poor quality of the artwork. We expressed our concerns about the significant deviation from the promised conditions. Mary consistently interrupted our questions and only responded with the phrase, "It will be fixed." At the conclusion of the walkthrough, my husband requested a private conversation with Mary, excluding the designer and our realtor. He wanted to discuss the situation candidly and understand the reasons behind the discrepancies between the promised and actual conditions. Mary responded by stating that no private conversations would be held, as the designer was in a position of authority and could address any concerns directly. My husband, avoiding any potential embarrassment for the designer, chose to remain silent and refrain from further discussion. Upon leaving the meeting, we were informed that the following day, the existing furnishings would be removed, and suitable replacements would be delivered. Later that evening, while reviewing the security camera footage, we discovered a video recording of Mary and the designer engaged in a conversation in front of our Ring video doorbell. In this conversation, Mary made light of and mocked my husband's request for a private discussion. This revelation led us to conclude that we could not proceed with the project, as we believed that Mary and her team were not acting in good faith. We contacted our realtor and requested that he inform Mary about the recording and our decision to withdraw from the Meridith Baer Home project. Our realtor informed us shortly thereafter that he had been instructed to request that we submit a written cancellation of the staging to Meridith Baer Home. That same day, we submitted our cancellation and requested that all of their property be removed from our home and that a refund be issued. The property was removed several days later, but no refund was issued. When the property was removed, their staff took hours to remove it. After reviewing our security camera footage, I could see real-time that the staff was lying around on the furniture and overall, fooling around without working. Again, how very disrespectful to conduct themselves this way in someone's home. In conclusion, although we sought legal counsel to recover our $21,000.00 loss, our counselor advised that the cost of seeking a refund and the personal time spent attempting to recover this loss might not be worth our while. Therefore, this was a $21,000.00 lesson. The Meridith Baer Home contract is completely one-sided. We signed the contract against our better judgement. My husband and I are both business owners and in our businesses we would have NEVER signed a contract that offered ZERO protections to us. Given the Meridith Baer Home "name" we decided (against our better judgment) to trust the name and brand. This was not a wise choice. After this fiasco, we did additional research and found that our story is not unique. There are lawsuits on the internet representing the same exact experience we had. For pictures/video DM me.

From the very beginning, she impressed us with her patience and her ability to really listen to our needs, preferences, and even unspoken concerns. She never rushed us into decisions, and instead provided multiple thoughtful renderings until we felt 100% confident in the direction. She doesn't just design for beauty--she designs for the way a family actually lives. Every idea she presented balanced practicality with elegance, which is exactly what we wanted for our home. One of the qualities I value most is that she's not afraid to give her honest, professional opinion. If something wouldn't work functionally or aesthetically, she told us upfront and explained why--saving us from costly mistakes we might have regretted later. That kind of candor is rare, and it shows how much she genuinely cares about her clients' best interests. She also has an incredible talent for sourcing materials and pieces that look high-end while staying within our budget. Not once did she pressure us into overspending, and yet the end result feels far more luxurious than we thought possible. She has a keen eye for detail, whether it's the perfect lighting fixture, the flow of the floor plan, or just the right paint tone that changes with the light throughout the day. Her project management skills deserve equal praise--she communicates clearly, stays on top of timelines, and coordinates seamlessly with contractors and vendors. Remodeling a whole house can be overwhelming, but she made it organized, smooth, and surprisingly stress-free.
