Jesus and Brandon were respectful of the space -- for example, when they had to take down some heavy closet doors and lean them against a wall, they put a cloth between the doors and the wall so as not to scratch the wall. They suggested fixes that in my mind went above and beyond, such as putting a layer of primer on the sheathing to help it resist moisture, should my roof leak again in the future. Hopefully I'll never need them again in the future, but if I do, they'll be the ones I call first.

After that experience, I question both the company's substantive knowledge and their ethics. First, they used some pressuring tactics to try to get me to sign on for their services right away. They urged me to make a homeowners insurance claim right away, saying that the work would surely be more than my $5k deductible. I asked what if we just took some remediation efforts without a claim, and they said just having a dehumidifier and fan in here for several days would already run $3k so I might as well file the claim. They otherwise would not offer an actual estimate for anything. The next day when they reached out to follow up, I said I didn't think it was worth it to file a claim and be out $5k. They then miraculously said they could do remediation for $2-$3k without a claim. I also had them look at another area of the house where we had some mystery water but was now visibly dry. I thought it came from outside rain. The technician said we had a leak and needed a plumber. I got a plumber in later who removed dry wall to look for the leak. There wasn't one. The plumber seemed really trustworthy and replaced a part just in case and was not $$$. But seemed to badly reflect on Robinson.

The text respondent said washable rugs were $65 + tax for any size. I thought this was a great price, so I brought it into the Holman location. Once there, I was told that the price was inaccurate from their "main office" and that it would be around $370 to get it cleaned. That is a HUGE difference. I left with my rug after having driven all the way to the store. I messaged back to the text hotline asking why the price was drastically different in store vs. what they told me. They essentially said the associate was wrong and that their price was correct. They offered me their free pick up and delivery service (available to everyone in the area) to give it a try. Pick up and drop off were very smooth and timely. The rug came back nicely washed and was actually priced at $65 + tax via invoice. Overall, I am happy with the actual service and rug washing, but the communication was messy and Im glad it did work out. I may try them again if prices stay fair.

We chatted first, and when I called, they were great! * They explain exactly what they can do and that they will need to see the rug before giving a fair estimate. Thank You! * Mike, the man who picked up my rug (who is as strong as a bull!), was on time, incredibly knowledgeable, and kind. He also brought it back to me, which I really liked.
