    Correction -4 Stars…read more Worst company I have ever encountered. The fully earned their F- rating on BBB. This should tell you how they get positive reviews. They are either their friends/family/co-workers or they are paid for and or they are fake. Eli and Betty at Highlands Creek are the most ineffective workers. They do not go behind vendors and maintenance to ensure that all jobs are completed and performed as leasing contracts state they will be. I have been in my apartment for 5 months and still have not gotten the 4 kitchen drawers, that do not work at all, fixed. My oven will only heat to 325, and it's meant to go to 450. So, I am limited as to what I can cook. My dishwasher runs for 2 hours. I am not paying that water bill so I must hand wash everything. My HVAC unit does not work properly. I live in a townhome, so I have 2 floors. Upstairs is 4 degrees warmer than my downstairs. So if I want to be comfortable upstairs where all bedrooms are I must put my AC down to 68. That would make my electric bill close to $300 a month. This makes my apartment even more expensive than my LEASE states it will be. My storage shed door is busted and cannot be secured, and I'm on the first floor. So, I have had to get a storage unit, there's another $60 a month. Their maintenance can only be described as pointless. They close work orders, stating they were done, and never even entered the apartment. Eli and Betty do NOTHING about it. Trust me, you can easily find a better, more affordable place to live. Not to mention your neighbors leave their trash out in front of their doors overnight, so the cats and racoons tear into and leave it all over the place. And they clean their cars out and leave the trash in the space they were parked in when they cleaned them out. And Eli and Betty do nothing about it. They also play their music VERY loud/rattling your walls and yell at you if you knock on the door and ask them to turn it down. Eli will spin all sorts of stories about how things are going to be done and improved. And nothing happens. Seems the only concern Eli has is for the people from across the street park in our parking spaces. Make sure this Slumlord Management Company doesn't work for any place you want to live, it will be crap.

They were not friendly nor helpful when we were trying to sell our condo…read more My husband was terminally ill and I notified them as such and they had no compassion and were so cold (Brenda and Joyce). I gave them a Power of attorney and a copy of my husband's Will while he was still alive. They didn't care. Then three days after he passed they sent a refund check in his name. I asked Joyce if she would redo the $ 50.00 check in my name since my husband had passed. She said she had to speak with Brenda and get back to me. I did not hear back so I called her. She informed me that Brenda said I had to go to probate to get the check in my name. Then a few days later I received another check for $50.00 but it said To the Estate of my husband. That wasn't helping me. So then my court date came and I went to probate. That same day I sent them the certified document from the court and to date, April 16, 2024 they still have not reimbursed me the refund check. I've had to file a complaint with BBB because it's the principal. They have no sympathy for me as a widow. I guess the company is so bad off financially they need to steal the $50.00 refund check.

I already did this with my lender. I was however told to bring a check for the seller beforehand, how they miss the three forms of Identification who knows? Additionally, I found an error on the closing document the day before and communicated it. The error was not fixed by closing. Did not walk away with the excitement of buying a home. Lackluster experience

I would never have thought I could get that number. I was absolutely blown away. Jon Westrom, the owner, even met me on a Sunday to walk through the property and talk strategy. That level of dedication is rare. His entire team works with real fire, fast, motivated, and incredibly effective. They communicate clearly, take action immediately, and truly go above and beyond. The back spicket is broken and you can't connect a hose to it plus it's coming out of the siding. My fence is rotting to death. We don't use the pool anymore because adults aren't allowed to have fun. Ridiculous. I'm not talking be inappropriate. We should be able to bring a noodle? As a renter I pay for all of this. We pay over $2200 a month for 1600 square feet and that includes the garage. They care more about the land lord than the tenants. When the lease is up we are out. I recommend everyone do research before you rent. Rent is always negotiatable if you're dealing with honest people! I will not attack anyone 1 person. I feel that both renter and landlord should be happy not just 1 sided. Jon I have discussed these problems with you months ago and I texted you today around 11:50am and it's 5:00pm. I respect honest people. You aren't being honest. This relationship will end on the last date of the lease and I will take care of everything you need from me to get out of here. We are not breaking rules and taking care of the property with love and care. So I should have no problem getting my deposit back when we move! I already handed over my documents to a professional.
