I do not recommend that anyone go here if you want medium to long nails. Short nails are pushing it but you capfuls get anyway with it. Theses nails only last a week or 2. The acrylic is so thin that they look completely horrible. I went in asking for coffin shaped acrylic nails and came out with the worst set of nails I've gotten in my life. They overcharge for all services and are rude if you have a problem. I tried to explain that I didn't like the way they did my nails and they basically attacked me saying that I got what I paid for, and how they did what I asked. But that's not at all true. Everyone Avoid this place by all means! Save your money! I went for a pedicure and this old lady sucked! I still had callouses on my toes and heals! What a rip-off! I had to go home to remove the callous off my toe myself because this old lady she did a poor and awful job of scraping my callouses off and I even pointed to her she needed to correct this! and she only took 4 secs. I will never go back there again and suggests everyone to go elsewhere for proper pedicure!!! No wonder they had no customers when I went there. This place is not worth going to and spending your hard earn money. The owner is rude and not friendly at all. The staff has no sense of customer service. First of all, you spend an arm and a leg to get a full that doesn't even last 2 weeks. Rip off. Second, the owner and staff are rude. They insist you to sign your name and phone number on the list for service and lie to you about the wait time and never call you for the service needed. All I needed was repair and requested Tina (the owner) because when I first went here she did my nails and they lasted almost 4 weeks. I have been to modern nails a few times but this was certainly my last. I decided to go without scheduling an appointment... first mistake. I understand they were very busy and I was willing to wait patiently for a spot. I was told the wait would be an hour and fifteen minutes so, I stepped out to go shop at target to waste time. When I came back however, I was told I spent too long and they needed to me to wait, granted I was willing to wait again, they did not let me know this professionally. As soon as I am able to sit down with one of the nail techs he simply asks what color I want. When he realizes the color is not directly infront of him he automatically gets irritated. I could feel his anger as soon as I sat in front of him. I understood all of the employees must have been under a good amount of pressure being they were so busy. He started prepping my nails for the acrylics and when I didn't have my hand where he wnated it he grabbed my wrist firmly to the point that it hurt and would basically slam my arm down to where he needed it. I was stunned. I was also clearly upset at this point and I just wanted to get out of there. He then proceeds to tell me to give him a minute in the middle of doing my nails. I assumed he was going to be like five minutes and come back... I was wrong. He goes to the bathroom and comes out to talk take a literal lunch break in the middle of doing my nails. He's takes like fifteen minutes. When he comes back he completely forgets what I asked for. I tried to express this to him but he, of course, got upset again. After this.... He starts to buff my nails so aggressively that he cuts me. At this point I just tell him to paint the nail so I can get this over with. The entire time he is just being extra aggressive and rolling his eyes. He even gives me a few snarky remarks. I cannot keep my composure at this point and I simply sit there ignoring him and just trying to get out of there. I'm so flustered tho making him even more upset when I don't automatically do what he asks when I'm drying the acrylics. When my nails are done and I get to walk up to pay. I simply gave him what he asked for and did NOT tip him. I was inclined to let him know how unprofessional my entire experience was but, I did not want to spend anymore time in there. This was my last and final time supporting this place and one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a nail tech. This one definitely takes the cake. read more

The lady did my nails in less than 15 minutes. Didn't even allow me to finish picking out my color. Did a shit job on my nails so I repainted them when I got home and then went on break immediately after she was done. She had an awful attitude too. read more

Today, my friend and I decided on a whim to get our nails done. We walked in and were greeted. The place is spacious, clean, and quiet. My pedicure was fantastic! Chairs seemed new and spotless. My lady knew exactly what she was doing & was a great conversationalist! The icing on the cake was the hot stones near the end. It was heaven! (She did tell me Tuesdays are their slower days) Great prices, classy customer service and quality work. I would definitely go back & you should check it out too. read more

My pedicure was painful and rough. The lady not only rushed through my massage she was extremely fast paced with it. I originally wanted my nails painted black with silver tips. She insisted on white tips until I told her to remove the white for my choice. She spoke rudely in her native language. I would not recommend their services. So I always go here, an I've always loved the work. The people are nice, they listen to what I want, an it's clean! Well today I went back with my friends. I showed the guy exactly what I wanted I explained that it's for my sister wedding so I needed them to look nice. He did a super horrible job! He didn't listen at all to what I wanted, and proceeded to get an attitude an snap at me for explaining what I needed done. Very nice lady, but my nails look awful. Badly shaped, badly sized, paint is missing on most of my nails. She didn't trim my nails before she put on my acrylics. Just poorly executed. And it was 40 dollars. Smh read more
