I requested a deep cleaning service for a bedroom, bathroom, and small hallway area. The people who were sent to my home, could barely speak English. I couldn't ever get them to fully understand what I wanted them to do. They told me they were going back to the car to get a chemical for the bathroom. They said something about it needing 20 minutes to sit, and they'd return. So I stepped into another room of the home, to be out of their way. They hadn't gone to get anything. What they had actually done, was pack their stuff and driven away. I checked my security camera when they hadn't come back into the house after about 25 minutes. They flat out lied to me! I got a text a few minutes after that saying they had completely cancelled my cleaning. This was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. For what they tried to charge, I was expecting something a lot better than being lied to and unable to communicate with the people sent to do the job. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

There were problems literally every week they wouldn't do rooms wouldn't come back were rude to my family. I used modern maids for move out cleaning. Honestly, I was quite disappointed. Unlike the "deep cleaning" advertised, it was rather superficially done. I was told that it would take 3-3.5 hours so I left to give them space to do their job. I came back at 3 hour mark and the cleaners were already gone and left my doors unlocked. However, dishwasher was not cleaned and still dirty. Tops of cabinets were not dusted. Kitchen countertop was not cleaned and there was still sticky residue that was still left over. The trims and window sill as well as the floor still had dust. I honestly could not believe I paid close to $400 for such a sloppy job. My husband and I went back and cleaned again afterwards. I absolutely would not recommend it. So disappointing. read more

A family member suggested we try this place out and we even asked for the same cleaning team they used and got them and were very happy with the cleaning. The nice thing about the service is you can do it whenever you want, we were going to hire someone 2 times a month, but we don't need 2x cleaning a month and you can also select the number of rooms, we have a guest room that doesn't need to be cleaned very often, so I can just select 2 bedroom and 3 bath and lower the price. Now one thing I wish they do is use our steam mop and not the normal mop, were not big on the smell of the cleaner even if it is pet safe. Happy Cleaning !! read more

It was ok. I was told I would be notified when the housekeeper was on her way and was not. I was not thrilled with the cleaning job and found it subpar and extremely rushed. The upstairs bedroom was still in disarray- pillows not fluffed and the floors were not vacuumed well at all. The furniture was not put back in the correct place and the couch was not vacuumed under the cushions. I left specific instructions for marble pieces of furniture to be cleaned by using a vacuum brush to remove dust and this was not done. The blinds in the bedroom were still very dusty and the ceiling fan blades were not dusted either. We paid extra for a deep clean and I feel as though this is a normal clean that i usually do myself. My boyfriend said "I don't really notice a difference in this clean and when you clean, i think you could've done this." Good to save time, but will not be using again. Update: the owner reached out to discuss and rectify. I think that is a very great thing in today's world of fast service and not much customer service- with that being said I'm giving a 4 star review and would like to thank the owner for following up with me to help find a solution. read more

Booked a deep cleaning while out of town. The lock box I left was giving the team issues, but they persisted in figuring it out. I returned home to find my house is the cleanest it has ever been. I am still finding areas that were cleaned that I was not expecting. I have 2 little kids, so not only was my house in need of quality cleaning, I am so grateful for the amazing job they did. I found this company on Instagram. Things started out promisingly, the owner, Justin, came to my house to look things over and see what I wanted done. I was very detailed and specific. We arranged a time for to come and clean house. I came home after the cleaning to find an incomplete, unsatisfactory job done. It was obvious that my instructions were not followed. I called Justin, sent him photos of what wasn't clean, & he sent the person back to redo what wasn't done the next day. Very little changed after the 2nd trip. I scheduled a DEEP cleaning and like a few other customers pointed out ... I too didn't even get a basic standard cleaning. My floors were not swept or mopped, one of the bathrooms they didn't even step foot into let alone clean, furniture wasn't wiped down at all, kitchen cabinets untouched, kitchen appliances untouched, no cleaning done behind any furniture, and the list goes on. I requested deep cleaning but didn't get even the basics. There was dust everywhere, they didn't clean the TV media console, mirrors, shower still had dirty spots. They sent another team the second day and they were supposed to redo everything but they only tried to do what was left from the first day, they still missed cleaning the baseboards and light fixtures. The cleaning itself was exactly what I wanted, but they were over an hour and 1/2 late past the already 2 hour window they give. I booked a move out service, so I was sitting in an empty apartment for over 3 hours waiting. I also called the number multiple times and no one answered (during business hours). I was not updated the cleaners would be late until 40 min past my cleaning time. Again, the cleaning was done well and was up to my standards, but the overall customer experience made me not want to book with them again. WORST cleaning service I have ever used. Came home to my townhouse smelling like it WAS ON FIRE!!! THEY LEFT MY OVEN ON BAKE AT 500 DEGREES!!!! For god knows how long!!!! I rushed to turn it off because smoke was billowing out of it! Everything inside is ruined! My house smells like an ashtray! They could have burnt my home down!!! Totally irresponsible! Next, my furniture was everywhere. It was like they moved every piece of furniture I own but didn't put it back even close to where it was. My windows were not cleaned! Mina came and really took her time. I was originally skeptical on what a "deep clean" really meant as it has been my first maid cleaning experience. Mina really exceeded my expectations. I called modern maids back to praise them and they informed me that unless I am unsatisfied with my maid that she will be my assigned maid. That being said I am so happy that she is the person who is coming into my home to clean. Trust is so important and I really do trust modern maids to get the job done with grace.
