I'm not exaggerating. I was speechless when she dropped my flowers off early the morning of my wedding. They were so beautiful, creative, and exactly what I wanted. I didn't think she could possibly impress me more than she had until I walked into the church and saw the two pieces she created on the alter. They were absolutely astonishing (and they also lasted a week and a half- my parents took them home!). Linda really works with you to understand and share your vision, offering suggestions and honestly going above and beyond to contribute to making your big day perfect. Linda even added little diamonds to my bouquet as a fun, glamorous, little touch. She found lace in coral for my girls bouquets, and wrapped mine in ivory lace with a rhinestone band. Best of all (yes, even better than big, beautiful flowers) is the fact that you know Linda loves what she does. She gets emotionally invested in your wedding and genuinely shares in your excitement. She is a remarkable and talented woman, and everyone should hire her for their wedding flowers. Trust me, you will not be disappointed!

I received countless compliments on that day about how beautiful by bouquet was, and have since received compliments when showing my wedding photos. I have been a part of, and have attended many weddings and I have never seen a bouquet that could even come close to the ones she made. On top of this, the specific flower I wanted was out of season, as it is a winter flower, and I was told by several different florists it was impossible to get this flower in and if I wanted it I would have to use fake flowers. Linda and her wonderful vendor were able to have the flowers imported for me to ensure our day was perfect! Thank you Linda for adding such beauty to my day! She is a very talented florist and one of the sweetest ladies you will ever meet, I highly recommend everyone to use her!

Did you guys catch the sequel to Edward Scissorhands? No?…read more Well, mosey on down to Elmhurst's Topiary and catch shop owner Silvia hard at work crafting floral arrangements fit for a Tim Burton flick, but sans silver scissor hands. Indie, imaginative, and my newest obsession. Okay, I haven't yet purchased a topiary, as I'd already blown my Mother's Day wad at Enzee just up and around the corner, but that's not to say I won't be back for one the next time I have a need for for ivy turned into an iguana or maybe a fern in the shape of a ferret... the possibilities are endless. On my latest visits, Silvia's had the shop stocked with bears, pups, dragonflies and more, but my real draw, and also where the last few miniscule bits of money I had went, is the greeting card selection. Sounds silly? Yes, I know... but you didn't see the cards. Or the matching mugs. The cards are photos of animals, but made to look like famous people. Like, the John Wake Great Dane, the Siamese Amy Winehouse, the Kim Jong Il Pug... too soon? I think not. Too funny? I'll take two! To date, I've purchased 6 cards from Topiary. That's starting back from my first visit 2 weeks ago, until now and I know I'll be back because Silvia showed me the catalog and let me hand pick which famous furred faces she should get in the shop for next time. Comin' atcha quick- Borat, Elvis, Blues Brothers, Dolly... Friends: Clear a spot on your fridge doors, you're about to get greeted with some bad-ass cards!

Two days before the event I was called by the owner and told that my deposit was less than what I've given them (even though I had everything on the receipt). That was the first red flag. And after she saw the receipt she finished it by saying "well, I have it written down differently so if I lose money it's on me". How unprofessional?! I do not recommend this place at all.
