I brought a brand-new comforter to be washed, only to find out after the cycle that the washing machine had gum stuck inside it. The good thing about this place, aside from the fact it is open 24 hours, is that it is coin op OR you use Apple or Google pay on your phone, instead of a card, via the QR reader. It is great and saves you the hassle of getting a laundry card you may never use again. Patrons are generally mask wearing so no worries there. The prices for washing are reasonable and the machines are well maintained. I found for drying it is a bit pricey (6 minutes/25 cents) but they do dry quickly. I would recommend coming here, though not too late because it can get deserted at times and it's not well lit. Though there are cameras around it's not the safest after 11, IMO.

Knowing I'd need commercial sized machines for the comforter, and since it was already past 5pm when i was ready, i asked Ai for local laundromats that were safe for me to use. AI gave me 3 options and this was his top recommendation due to reviews mentioning cleanliness and its location. What a lucky choice ~ the man working was super friendly & BEYOND helpful! He not only helped me select which machine, he also filled my machines with laundry detergent and gave me dryer sheets without charging me for them (I expected to be able to buy them like I'd done in the past when washing my comforters). He did offer their to wash and fold service, but that would have cost $25, and this weren't complicated loads. The machines did a nice job and there were a few restaurant choices near by.. an Asian food place next door, Jimmies across the street, and he said there was another one (I think Indian restaurant). This was a nice experience. Parking right in front of the building. The place was clean. Free WiFi and chairs to sit on. And again, the wonderful man working there was so helpful and kind!

I chose Laundry Works because it is closest to my home, and in an extremely safe area. What I found was an extremely clean and quiet business. It wasn't as large a space as the ones I used in my 20s, but it wasn't busy (I was told this time of year with all the kids home from school it can be very busy), and I took up 3 machines with plenty free to use for others. What's new (to me) was that instead of taking quarters and bills, there were 2 "laundry card" machines that create and load money value to your card. These cards are swiped in the machines themselves & you load them up using debit or credit cards. Warning: These machines talk and they were startlingly loud. The business was very clean. There were two areas to sit at. A machine offering laundry supplies. And a machine that help snacks. This business also offers wash and fold services (see photos for prices). There are two sizes of both washers and dryers with different prices; the dryers you prepay by 10-minute increments. The brightest highlight of my experience was Leah, the nice nice lady who works there! She was friendly and very patiently helped me get acquainted with the place and the machines. She advised me on which sized machines I should use for each comforter, and since it wasn't busy, even helped me with my comforters. After spending an hour there, I almost wish I had a reason to go back semi regularly... and maybe I'll start bringing my comforters a little more often to clean. Thank you Leah! I hope the owners of this business realize what a gem they hired to manage the place!

It took me a while to write a negative review because of the ONE nice young lady that I met the first time I came here. However, I don't care anymore, I'm not giving these people anymore money after the terrible fucking shit show I just had to endure today!!! First of all, FIX THE MACHINES!!!!! CLEAN THE PLACE!!!! Apparently, the owners are vacationing in Maine while the laundry mat is operated and supervised by the fucking community who has to use this piss poor facility!!! I normally do full service, but ever since the girl who does full service has not responded to my messages or returned my texts in 2 weeks, so I am washing things myself. Last week, a cigarette butt in my dry clothes!! (NO, I DO NOT SMOKE) This week, apparently the machines are OFFLINE, so you cannot use your credit card. Well, that was a super convenient find after putting all my clothes in the machines and pouring my expensive ass detergent on my clothes AND in the machine... for it to not work at all!!! So then, I searched high and low for cash, I had $5 only and 3 loads of clothes. So, I washed one load that already had bleach in it... the rest of my clothes went back into my laundry bag WET from detergent and the wet ass washing machine!!!!!! I contact the owners... no answers!!! Three different numbers and no answers!!! I sent a text... the response was so unprofessional and lackluster that I am definitely never coming back here!!! Again, I hate poor customer service! You'll never get my money again!! All the time, you'll have to dry your clothes SEVERAL times because the dryers don't work well at all! Most of the washing machines have sitting water, mold and debris inside of them. I don't care if it's independently owned or family owned or whatever... you would have no business without customers!!!
