They have a wide selection of sizes, from XSmall to 3X. I'm about a size 24/3X and some of their 3X items are almost too big on me, which always makes me smile. The staff treats me with the same respect they give small to average size women, which in my experience doesn't happen often in a plus/regular mix size store. Along with clothing, they have accessories, fun items like socks and sweets, and a wall of personal care items like bath bombs, body cream, hand sanitizer, and aromatherapy. The owner, Laura, is an amazing member of the community who supports other small businesses and brought joy to my family at a rough time when we were missing a loved one. She wasn't asked, she just offered and we will always be thankful to her for her act of kindness.

But I have to say this store has survived and is now located near Sobey's in St. Albert. It's got its own strip mall space. I admire it simply for it's staying power. The clothing has improved somewhat over the years. I've browsed it a few times in the past and thought I'd see what they've got now. They still have lots of bejeweled articles of clothing which I am not a fan of. Still the demographic of this shop doesn't include my age group, more like double that. So, what's better now? They carry Jones New York which I thought was pretty impressive. This store seems to cater more to retired women. A good sign though was that the clearance racks are where the bulk of the polyester was. So maybe that's a sign of things to come.

Everything that she has recommended has fit well and looked great, even though I may not have picked these items off the rack myself. Flash is my go to for everything from casual to dressy.

my boyfriend bought me a dress from here for valentines day…read more i was out of town because i work for an airline. as soon as i was back i went to return the dress because it didn't fit. they said i could not return the $250 dress because you can only return stuff within 2DAYS!!!!!! thats right.... 48hrs or you can only get a store credit... oh but wait! then you have to use your credit within 90 days or you forfeit the full amount!!! thats right, they just keep your money. Who conducts business like this?? i feel sad because i always try to support local business. But when you have outrageously poor customer service and you're in a town like st. albert. word spreads like wild fire and their business will suffer. too bad :(

Check out the ruffles on his custom suit jacket he sported tonight and sells. It was such a pleasure getting to chat with him about his designs. The fabrics he chose for the jackets were all so lovely and soft. I love that they carry MNS unisex socks. MNS donates two pairs of socks to a local shelter for every pair sold - warns your heart and your toes! Also each pair - while still matching - are slightly different. I went to the launch party for her store in Vacancy Hall and I'd been in her store a few times the week before. At the party, Tina was wearing one of her designs and I loved it so much I bought one for myself. I have quite a vibrant wardrobe normally and this is now my go to little black dress. Perfect for going 'out out' or date night. The designer Lac An also resided in this space with structured tailored items that are also worth checking out. The store is super cute and a nice space to hang out. Don't forget to shop her accessories too!

Unlike other locations that sell a good mix of Simons brands like Twik and other popular brands, the women's clothing section in this location is at least 90% house brands. I tend to steer away from these as the quality tends to be lower and not as good value for the price. The men's section seems to have a better mix. If this is an issue for you, the West Ed location is much better. On a positive note, the service is always great. The staff here are friendly and helpful. The store is always quiet and clean.

The layout is clear, organized and very spacious. Even though the store just opened, there's already a clearance section ! This place has some pretty expensive high end brands as well as some more affordable items. If this is your first time in a store like this, just be aware that some of the prices are more expensive than most people are usually willing to pay. For example there's a sweatshirt by Wildfox for $79.99 saying "Shopping is my Cardio." Unless you don't mind splurging on luxury items, some prices in this store might cause some sticker shock. I also found many items in this store to be pretty reasonably priced. Some decently priced items are mixed in with the expensive items. For example, I saw a Designer Lab dress for much less here than what I paid at the Bay. I also saw some tops priced just under $25 and some of the costume jewelry was under $15! Much like Ricki's they stock women's work wear as well as casual everyday garments. I do find the emphasis however at Cleo is more on work wear as opposed to their casual clothes. I also find the prices at Cleo to be a bit on the expensive side. They had dresses going for $110.00 here and im quite certain I could have picked up something similar for around $60-$70 over at Ricki's or Reitmans. Also I find the styles here to be a bit better suited to more mature ladies. I think the staff must feel the same way as the associate working at the time of my visit seemed surprised to see me browsing in the store and the conversation that followed after her greeting me seemed a bit awkward and forced. They stock a nice product here but nothing about it really stands out and makes me want to become a regular customer. If you work in an office setting and find you go through your work wear quickly however you might want to consider popping in and taking a look.
