Currently very irritated. My 10 year old was very apprehensive to get a haircut. He had rather longish hair. I explained I wanted a trim for him, specifically around his ears and nape of neck. I explained he was very freaked out about getting his hair cut. I also showed her a picture of what my son and I compromised on. She essentially took that and threw it out the window. She did what she wanted and my son is very upset. I told him to trust me, that it wouldn't be so bad. Then this happens. My poor kid. When I tried to stop her midway, she said it was fine. She just kept cutting! What in the world?! Update: As we were leaving my son burst into tears. He was hiding his face and hair. I asked for a refund, explaining that's not what we asked for and my son was very upset. She was silent, and obviously very irritated. Not an "I'm sorry", not anything. Very unfortunate needless to say we WILL NOT return.

I can't review the way they style or cut hair but I will say that whoever is doing scheduling or…read moretaking phone calls is INCREDIBLY rude and unprofessional. My mother was making an appointment for my grandmother and apparently there was a scheduling mishap. My mother made an appointment on Friday and it was never actually scheduled so when my mom called to confirm today, they had no record of the appointment. They said they could squeeze my grandma in though. When my mother called to confirm the time they wanted my grandma to come in, the lady answering the phone was incredibly rude. I could hear this lady saying my mother was upset. Mind you, my mom wasn't being rude and if she was, I would have told her so, trust. I think it's natural to have some frustration as both the client and the stylist when scheduling mishaps happen; however, this woman escalated the situation from 0 to 100, accusing my mom of being rude and then saying, "don't get upset with me for these dumba** people's mistakes." I definitely don't think you should be cussing when speaking with customers or clients. I also don't think you should be talking about the people you work with that way. My mother was literally just calling to find out when to come in. I don't think the situation was handled well by the person on the phone and we will not be visiting this shop.

My hair is so short and it's so uneven. Sadly I didn't noticed until today 2/18 when I straightened it. The back is so short it doesn't match the front. I'm so upset she ruined my log hair and left me with this. Never again will I come here I'll post a picture of what I wanted and what I sadly got.

As nervous as I was I took a chance and I'm so glad I did! She reached out and wanted me to go in for a consult just to discuss what my options were and I was able to book my appointment. She even had a sooner opening and asked if I wanted to go in sooner so of course I did!! Raquel did phenomenal on my hair!! She literally made me a whole new woman with this hair!! She slayed and I couldn't be happier!! Raquel thank you so very much for saving my hair and giving it life! I will definitely be back and become a regular I'll post some before and after photos so you can see the transformation for yourself I also wanted to add the salon was super clean, staff were all so friendly and it was just a good vibe and experience. My appointment was at 8:30am and let me tell you Raquel started my hair right on time. Can't say how they do…read morehair but the service is lacking. *** update *** Kristal did reach out via yelp and let me know that more than half of their staff is out. She is kind and I now can understand why I didn't get a call back. Wish I could have seen her work on my hair, her pictures of her talent look wonderful.

I never insulted you in Spanish -- that you don't understand my beautiful Chilean Spanish is one thing, but claiming I insulted you is another. On September 10, just four days after my haircut, I went back to your salon because I didn't like how it looked. You were completely freaking out, asking your receptionist who I was and why I was there instead of simply asking me. Only after I introduced myself ("Filomena, it's Carla from Chile") did your attitude change. Because my English is limited and your Spanish isn't good either, I made sure to write down and translate exactly what I wanted to say so I could explain it politely: "Hi Mena, I called you but you didn't answer. Since I left work early, I came because I had the time. It's not a big deal, I just don't like my haircut because it's flat and I want layers." At first, even though you only wanted to give me a lesson on how to style my hair, I said yes, I wanted your help. But when you started giving opinions about my face shape and telling me you had already done "many" layers, as if to say I didn't need more, that's when I decided to tell you no -- because it's not up to you to decide whether I like my own hair or not. I paid you over $500. And honestly, if after 30+ years in this business you still haven't figured out how to treat your clients with respect, maybe you should ask for a refund on that "experience" -- because clearly three decades haven't been enough for you to learn. Finally, I would like to know if your salon has cameras with microphones to corroborate that everything I'm saying is true. Carla
