Our borrowed car developed a distressing, Car Talk-style mystery noise as we were driving in the Gardiner area. Modena Automotive was nearby, so we limped there. Great vibe to this friendly, local shop. Not a chain. Kathy in the front office was attentive and always seemed magically one step ahead of the game. The car's brakes were shot and needed replacing. Fred was personable and helpful in showing where the problems were with the car up on the lift, and Jeff, the technician, made a solid repair that has no doubt extended the ancient vehicle's life by years.
