I was asked to leave after having one toe done.

WORLDS MOST RACIST NAIL SALON! I went into this nail salon for the first time requesting a gel pedicure and let's just say I should have read the reviews first. The first issue was when I asked for my feet to soak first, I was given attitude for asking a simple question. Second issue was with the male tech that started my pedicure. I explained how I wanted my nails to be shaped (squared) simple right? When I was asked to put my feet back into the water typically I like to check to ensure things are headed in the right direction to avoid issues and having to redo the entire process. I was asked "do you not want me to do your nails?" Then he followed up with "you are making me nervous you should just leave". I have never in my life experienced such discrimination. This is the most racist business I've ever entered. DO NOT GO HERE if you so much as have a tan, you will be treated differently it was very obvious my presence was not welcomed. I was never rude or unpleasant just wanted to be pampered and have my pregnant aching feet taking care of.

    Uneven French tip.

Don't go here unless you want to be robbed. I came here as a walk-in. I was serviced fairly quickly and the staff was pleasant enough. I had an older gentleman do my nails. I'm not sure of his name. I got a full set and asked for square nails with round edges, but I mostly got square. I didn't complain. I asked for French tip, but the end result was slightly crooked lines, which can be seen in the photo. Again, I didn't complain. When it was time to check out, I wanted to leave a tip but didn't have cash so I asked him to add an extra $5 to the bill. When he gave me the receipt to sign, I noticed he added an extra $7 instead of $5. Did I complain? Yes! Because thief is where I draw the line.

    Bruised from a terrible pedicure!

My sister went there yesterday, Wednesday 8/24/22. A man did her pedicure. He was way too rough! While using a tool he broke skin and she got a cut. She's in pain and is having difficulty walking. There's also a bruise! She called today and the man wouldn't even admit to anything! And no refund!

Great service and great prices. Nina always does an amazing job on my nails. She has been doing my nails for many years and never disappoints.

Model Nails aberdeen 11/23/19 Saturday Afternoon 12pm Attempt to get pampering I was trying to decide if to get gel or try the new dip color process. They didn't have price posted in the store, so I asked. There were booklets to use. I noted that he said the cost was $40 but their book said $35. Little did I know.. that was the start of bad service for me. I decided to get the dip color on my fingers and gel color on my feet. The soaking process was fine. As soon as he started the work of the pedicure, I explained that he should take his time being that my toe nails are sensitive and I don't accept anyone cutting my skin or hurting me. The first clip he made hurt, I reminded him to be careful. He continued and used the hand file instead which was fine. He then was smoothing the top of the nail with the spinning tool as a fat boy ( maybe his son) came behind and gave him a hug causing the tool to hurt my cuticle. He says, that the woman the child came with will now do my feet. Ok, I can respect that. He said I was making him nervous. I realized he was on the phone when he was working with me, so I guess he had her come just to "deal with me" because instantly her tone was rude and disrespectful. Yelling, " what color you want" I explained I wasn't yet sure but she could start and I'll select one. She yells at me again. I was silent contemplating if to even continue with them at this point. Ok now, I'm saying to myself. I'm about to pay close to $100 dollars for bad manicure and pedicure service and this Chick has an attitude and is trying to act tough. She yelled one more time. I said, "that's it, I am not going to stay here and pay you to give me bad service." At this point, the man had filed one toe. She said, take you stuff and get out. I took a picture of the place for Yelp. The woman starting taking pictures of me. I asked her why she was taking several pictures of my face. I shared that my picture was for Yelp ( probably Trip Advisor). Then he says, I knew when she came in. Knew what, that I asked questions. Why are service providers intimidated by questions? What's wrong with wanted pain-free , optimal service from a business there to offer pampering? I left and will never return. However, my feet were cold and wet on this late November morning/ early afternoon. My mood was spoiled as far as getting a manicure and pedicure and I was now not going to go anywhere else. Overall, there is this premise, that as a Black Woman I should accept subpar service and I refuse to.

My boyfriend and I just had the BEST pedicures of our lives! Fresh cucumber and oranges rubbed on our legs and feet, exfoliants, lotions, oils, paraffin wax, hot stones & of course the massage chair! It was so amazing, plus a little wine I had such a long few days and this place really relaxed me, also got my eyebrows waxed and they also look really nice thank you model nails. We will be back. Also make sure you bring cash because tips typically aren't accepted on cards.

Nina is the best nail artist! She always gets the shape right, it's rare that there is a design she can't do and she always makes sure you're satisfied. See Nina when you go!!

If you would like a racist and discriminatory experience please go here. If I could provide less…read morethan a star I would. The options in this town are very limited and it often feels like you are trying to pick the lesser of evils. This place 'Pro Nails' berates any customer that is not white. They speak to you in a condescending tone that just makes you feel inferior. They constantly assume you cannot afford their varying prices. A fill in can range from $30-$70 depending on the male owner's mood that day. He completely disrespected me and made me cry in front of all clients in the store simply because I advocated for myself when they tried to skip my turn. The manager got in my face as I was sitting and made several hand gestures as if I were nothing. He never apologized and just doubled down on his unprofessional behavior. He made sure to protect his white lady clients all the while. Not to mention the unsanitary practices and lack of care that lead to fungus growing on my nail. This place is a disaster. Stay far away.

So I am sitting in Pro-nails as I am typing this review. I was here last night and told the…read moretechnician that the gel polish was not to my liking. She kept manually filing my nail to correct the poor polish job she did. She kept stating there was a "dip" in my nail causing the problem. I finally gave up as she was very reluctant to wipe the gel off and start again. Lo and behold, about an hour after leaving the shop the polish began lifting. So now I am back trying to get them to fix the one nail. Of course they want to hurry and drill off the polish. Naw, nope. I asked for the pusher and get the polish off myself. Now they are ignoring me. I wonder how long this is going to take. Update: So the tech, who serviced me last night and now today was not happy to see me. The feeling was mutual. So she begins by pulling out the drill. Ma'am what are you drilling? You drilled last night! She stated she had to get the product off the edges. Ugh, OK. So she does her thing and was about to put the polish on. I stopped her and asked about the base coat to which she responded I had product still on. This is vexing to me as out of the same mouth she said she had to drill it off. At this point, I am well beyond over with this place. Nail fix polish technique sucks. I bet this won't last the rest of the week. And there is more! 3 days later the FN polish on my other hand starts bubbling up!
