I was so scared,…read moreread a bunch of reviews and prep notes, and took 400 mg ibuprofen 30 minutes before my appointment. I had nothing to fear. Tara made me feel so comfortable, like we had known each other for years. She is an independent business owner with a ton of experience. She kept me happily engaged while she waxed me, and it did not feel nearly as bad as I was expecting it to! Honestly, it only stung for a second or two, and less than an upper lip wax, but if you psych yourself out, your first wax can be almost pain free, and then it just gets easier from there!! My only issue is her location is 22 minutes from my house, but I'm totally making the drive because she is fantastic, and it's worth it.

She is personable and great at her craft. I'm always super smooth when I leave, with minimal pain (there will be some level of pain during your waxing, so set your expectations. The more you go, the less pain there will be). In addition, I enjoy her online booking because I like to plan my self care in advance. She is popular and tends to books up quickly. So…read moreI bought the Groupon and scheduled and appointment to come in for a Brazilian Wax in addition to my underarms being waxed. The young lady who did my underarms was very insensitive in the sense that she did not displace great customer service. The wax was entirely too hot. I do not feel like she waited long enough for the wax to completely dry before ripping it off. There was additional hair in a crevice under my arm bc I am not skinny and she did not even try to remove it and just blatantly told me she couldn't remove it.
