I had actually heard about Hudson Lash Studio from a joint Instagram giveaway that I won, that they were doing with K & B Bridals. I was super excited to get to have an experience at the lash studio. I had gotten lash extensions before, but never professionally/ individually placed only in clusters. The overall appointment was about 2 hours long, but it was well worth it because my lashes look SO good and natural. Also, Molly was a gem! She was very thorough in explaining everything about the lash extensions; from the placements, feelings I would feel during the appointment (considering your eyes are closed), after care & maintenance. It was SO easy to relax and unwind here- I definitely dozed off. This was my first time visiting…read more Positives: The salon itself was very welcoming and had a nice aesthetic. The person at the front desk was very friendly and so was my aesthetician. The private room was very calming and relaxing while having my facial and I felt very relaxed when I left. Negatives: the facial itself didn't yield any results for me. I had a hydrafacial, with my main areas of concern being hydration and to help with the signs of aging. Unfortunately neither occurred. My face was smoother and brighter for maybe 2 days afterwards but it was also very tight and dry. The fine lines around my eyes and mouth were more pronounced and noticeable than they were before. I did see a temporary reduction in blackheads around my nose, but less than a week later, my skin was back to being dry, dull and flaky like it was before. UPDATE: Two weeks later and my skin is breaking out like crazy and peeling in some places. I have texture where I didn't have it before. It looks worse than before I went. I'm disappointed that I didn't see any positive results and angry because of the breakouts and other adverse side effects. I will NOT go back again.
