He has worked for Hamiltons for over 20 years and it shows. Alex is knowledgeable, helpful and provides just the right amount of attention. He was there when we had questions and not there when we were testing out the furniture for comfort and deciding which style we liked best. He kept checking in every so often. Alex's personality is pleasant and he is not pushy at all. In short, he was great. Hamiltons should be very proud of him. The other sales associate was also very friendly and smart too. However, we did not work with her very much. She did bring us water when we looked like we were ready to fall asleep. Like Alex, she was right there when we needed her. I had been eyeing a lot of items on the Modern Contempo website and the organization's instagram page. I immediately knew that once I saw the Aiden king size bed that I had to have it. I ordered the Aiden bed on 24 NOV 2021, the bed was delivered and assembled on 27 NOV 2021. Someone emailed on 26 NOV 2021 to confirm a delivery time and to Inform me that the delivery and set up was free. The day of the delivery, I was called by a contractor to inform me that he was fifteen minutes out with my delivery at 9:00 a.m. The delivery team was efficient and quick. The only issue I had with my delivery was that I am missing a third of the slats for the bed. I am going to call to see if I can pick the items up today. The slats not being sent is an inconvenience, but I will make it work. I deducted a star due to the missing slats. The issue was corrected the same day. Best customer service ever! Will update once my entire room is complete!

We spoke to Sue who gave us pricing for what we were searching for and informed her if she could do any better on the pricing; She came back a few minutes later with a lower price, but it was still not cheaper than their competitor. Sue before we were leaving had us fill out a form with our information and email address and she mentioned she was going to send me a proposal or draft invoice with the pricing on it via email . When I asked when I might receive that, she suddenly says we do not do that here. What I do not understand is if you are offering me an email with a proposal or draft invoice, why bring it up in the first place if you do not offer it. We wound up purchasing our sofa and chaise at a competitor in Columbia, MD. who had much better service and the pricing was less expensive. I would have to say if you are looking at high end furniture, please visit this store for comparison shopping, but I would not recommend you purchase here or expect someone to ask you if you need help. I was beginning to think about reupholstering mine because it is over 20 years old and after 20 years of grandchildren climbing all over it it was showing its age. As soon as I walked in I was met by Mustafa who asked if he could help me find what I wanted. I told him about my chair and how I was hoping to replace it rather than reupholster it. I took out my phone and showed him some pictures of my chair and ottoman and the sofa that is in the same room. I also showed him photographs I took screenshots of on line of chairs made by Craftmaster. He began showing me Craftmaster chairs but none felt nearly as comfortable as the chair I have. Then he asked if he could show me chairs made by another company that is also made in the United States, called England. I said yes and as soon as I sat in one I knew I found a chair that was as comfortable as what I was hoping for. I also liked the style of the chair. However it had a mechanism that allowed you to put your legs up and I wanted an ottoman. He told me no problem, it came without that feature and with an ottoman. Then I asked him about fabrics that chair came in and he brought me over to the fabric area, which was impressive. He pulled out the most perfect color fabric which amazed me. I was thinking this was too good to be true and asked him the price. I realized it was going to cost me less that reupholstering my chair. I told him I would bring a cushion from my couch to be sure it matched since he had only seen a picture of my couch on my phone. When I got home I looked at reviews of the business and was stunned at how bad they were. How could they be so awful when Mustafa was so nice to be and so skilled at finding me the perfect chair, ottoman, and fabric at a good price. I was tempted to not go back... but fortunately I did. I brought my cushion in to show him and sure enough... the fabric he picked was a perfect match! I bought the chair and ottoman. Mustafa was delightful to do business with. Perhaps some of the other salespeople are not as nice or as good, but I was lucky to get the salesman I did. If you go there, I recommend you ask for this salesman. The furniture and rugs are in this showroom are beautifully displayed, and there is a wide range of style for everyone's taste. The showroom is not at all crowded. Now that I saw what they have and how reasonable the prices are, I look forward to updating more of my furniture and rugs with this salesman in the future.

Problem 1: At pickup my lamp was tagged $55 for repair. Eva couldn't explain why, said the person was confused but she would charge me $35. Problem 2: Before bagging the lamp and driving back home with my lamp I ask Eva to plug it to confirm it turned back on. The lamp didn't turn on. Clearly it wasn't fixed or checked by anyone prior to calling me for pickup. Eva says leave it and I will have the repair person look again. Problem 3: Eva calls me back and says well the lamp should be rewired to replace the plug and thats going to be $65. I was quoted $35 to fix the lamp. The lamp should be fixed at the quoted price $35. The lamp should have been checked prior to calling for pickup. Complete waste of my time.

I called after purchasing them, before delivery for the measurements, and they were not accommodating and provided them. I will not hesitate to go back there in the future. And, actually, it was fun just browsing the store after I made my selection.
