I can't express enough gratitude to this exceptional, completely customer service oriented place of business! It started when I called to schedule an appointment yesterday and they got me in next day. PERFECT! I explained to them there was a third party responsible for payment and neither of us thought anything of it. Today my truck was to arrive between 8:30-9am and was to be finished by 6 but instead it was not able to get there till 2pm. Dan assured me it was no problem and it would still be done by 6. COMPLETELY ACCOMODATING! The job was done quickly and efficiently before 6 which was INCREDIBLE! Aside from Dan's efficiency, the place showed incredible patience and professionalism when the third party began to flake out on their responsibility to pay. Dan withstood complete and utter incompetence from an unprofessional business and immoral and unethical behavior, along with run-around games and being hung up on. Even after dealing with their nonsense for hours, he stayed on the phone with me while I was on another line with the dealership who was attempting to scam us both right until they were minutes away from closing time. P.S. Dan and I got all the necessary documents and finalized payment after he stayed on the phone with me for nearly 45 minutes at the end of his work day. A HUGE THANK YOU to Dan and Model Electronics! I would recommend this place to EVERYONE & ANYONE looking for a PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE, PERSONABLE experience. As someone who works in the customer service field I know there's not many people to people businesses around anymore and it's a shame. THANK YOU Model Electronics for remembering that business is not just about the money you make but the impressions you leave on your customers as well. HAPPY HOLIDAYS! read more

My Escalade is a family vehicle, I didn't want an embarrasing flashy sub cabinet sitting in the back of the truck. I wanted the inside of my truck to be altered as little as possible. Andy was amazing. My new system is completely hidden. A 10" sub was installed under the center console, and two amps were recessed behind a trim panel in the back of the truck. They explained how a computer was then used to balance the sound field of the new system to the specifics of the truck. The interior looks exactly the same as it did when I brought it in. In closing Andy gave me a thumb drive with pictures of the installation, so I could see what a neat job they did. What a huge improvement. This is a professional operation and I highly recommend them. read more

Several days ago I had Model diagnose a problem with my radio, no reception. Andy discussed my options and I chose to replace the radio with an upgraded model. When I made the first appointment I was told of the diagnosis charge which I agreed to and Andy waived as a courtesy. The radio was to be replaced this morning, giving myself an early Christmas gift, soon after the technician pulled my car into the garage Andy told me that there was nothing wrong with the radio, the problem was in the antenna line which they fixed and now the radio works great. I highly commend Andy and the technicians for their honesty and integrity as well as professional workmanship and will recommend Model to my friends and to you as well. . read more

From the moment Andy answered the phone on my first phone call, through 'til we had a new radio installed to access Sirius, I knew we were going to have a great experience. Andy is exceptional in all he does, makes the customer feel very at ease, explains the entire process, has a lot of patience for questions and assistance one may feel they need. Becks (sp?) was wonderful explaining the radio's functions and was very patient as well. The other gentlemen who work at Model Electronics were very kind and courteous during our visits to the store. We appreciate the time spent, the beautiful equipment we purchased and having such fine gentlemen to work with at Model Electronics. Great team! Thank you! Cindy and Peter Greco read more

Above and beyond my expectations is my experience with George the technician at Model...I had a anti hijacking alarm installed at Model to my satisfaction. George has been, very, instrumental in problem solving issues that several, reputable, Acura dealers were unable to solve. On one occasion he traveled to the dealer--on his own time--and got my car started after they were unable to. George was also able to troubleshoot a dealer accessory, after they were, again, unable to solve it. I want to give a special mention to Dave and Dan in the office... they just don't make people like this anymore... love this place to death... especially the waiting room... lol... read more

This is my first YELP review ever for any product or place of business. I had to write this because it's extremely rare for me that an experience with a company goes almost perfectly, and in this case w Model it did. I bought in my 85 Grand Wagoneer for a new audio system and not only did they suggest a few things that other places did not, they went above and beyond and fixed many of the electrical issues I was having that had nothing to do w the new audio system. All this and came in at the budget we discussed. I will be back for more upgrades soon and highly recommend this place. D read more

If you are looking for somewhere to get your remote starter and keyless entry system done, Model Electronics is the place to go! They are the best, i dropped my Volvo off and it was done in less than a day. You cant even tell someone was in the car wiring the system. Clean install, great communication, and friendly people. The system works great and i am more than happy to have got it done here! Found Model Electronics through the internet, and they had the cleanest website, so i chose them! I will go to Model for all of my electronic needs for my car from now on! Thanks Guys! read more

I brought in a Landrover with a crazy stereo request...it was an older car that I wanted to retrofit a factory navigation unit (optional but not in my truck) along with fitting in a bluetooth handsfree kit for a telephone and an xm radio. I had printed out a 10 page post from online as to how to wire this up and it looked complicated but they said no problem. Even trying to exlain what I wanted to have installed sounded complicated but they nailed it. Looks like it came from the factory and it took some modifications...nice work and I will use again and tell my friends! read more

Parking with Jeep Wrangler has limited visibility and issues of its own. Andy and Dan were great and my Jeep was in the best of hands. Andy was great at answering all of my questions and explaining all of the pros and cons as they related to the available options. Dan took great care installing the camera and I was left with a feeling that this back up camera was factory installed. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else for any car related installation and neither should you! Great job, great price, great work. Thank you! read more

I have been to Model's twice this year. The first visit was to purchase a replacement remote stater fob for my truck. Not only was the price way lower than I expected, the service was superb. My second visit was to find a replacement headphone for my trucks media center. Model had the headphone in stock and the price was very fair. Talk to Dan if you have any electronic needs, he will take care of you. D Rad read more

All they guys are great. Dan, Dave and their crew! Dave was nice enough to send me pics during the day to show me the finished project while I was still at work. Went in to get my 2014 Camaro infotainment system upgraded. Dan was awesome throughout the whole process. Laid out all the options until I was comfortable and made a decision. They have a very wide selection in the store. The process was pain-free and the work was done quickly and efficiently the day of the installation. Highly recommend Dan and Model Electronics as a whole. read more

My fiancé bought me a head unit for Christmas for my Nissan Quest. We tried best buy where he bought it from and they were going to charge us an arm and a leg to install the radio because of the set up of my car. So we came here and not only were the prices reasonable but Dan had them do a whole custom installation! I LOVE the set up of my stereo and it works beautifully! read more

Miracle workers!!! I was unable to find a bike rack for my 2017 Jeep Wrangler. Marc, Dan and their team took it upon themselves to measure out and contact more manufacturers than I was aware existed. Less than 48 hours later I was on my way camping with a Full Swing rack that allowed me to open the door with all 4 bikes mounted! read more
