To be able to have any and all toppings one would like for one price is fantastic. I enjoyed an epic 11" with garlic rub, fresh garlic, a little of their spicy tomato sauce, plant-based sausage, mushrooms, black olives, fresh basil and rosemary. Finishing it off with sriracha ranch sauce on top. I'm opting for the fig sauce next time to balance the flavors more. That being said, it was perfect and I devoured the entire thing. Oink! read more

Lo recomiendo 100% read more

The food is good, but the price concerns me. I went to Mod Pizza with my wife and stepdaughter. We each had a mod-sized (or regular) pizza, and one of us ordered a fountain drink. The cost was $47. If there had been four of us and we had each ordered a fountain drink, the cost would have easily been between $70 and $80 for personal pan pizzas at a fast casual restaurant. That is too much for most working-class families, and much more expensive than it would have cost to order pizza and appetizers from Domino's. I think Mod Pizza has a serious price problem. read more

The service I had was unbelievable, these two rude workers should not be working at this job. When me and my partner were walking in to make an order to go, the worker in the first photo said they were not going to serve us because they had a "slow" day and decided to close up early. The website states it doesn't close until 10, if a is open until a certain time you would except to still be served and not be given a rude attitude, do people want to work for free now ? When asked for a manger and to get a number worker said he was the manger and they don't have a number. I think this was honestly the worst service ever and I would highly recommend for them to get a new job, if the cannot work the hours then they might as well find a new job that fits there schedule. I would like to be contacted and make sure this never happens again. read more

No, this pizza was horrible. Pretty sure they're supposed to be sauce on that pie. Doesn't even make my top 20.

The light skinned with the long dreads did not have his hair tied up or a hat on. He did not use gloves when he put the pizza in the oven. He tried to take a pizza out the oven and it broke in half cause the pizza toppings to fall off and burn. Then walked off and went to the back. Came out scratching his head and playing with his dreads then proceeds to make orders, very nasty. Trey came to the rescue, remade the pizza, cleaned the oven and made sure the customers had their pizzas! I want to give Trey a big shout for cleaning up his fellow coworker mistake, he handle this situation very professionally. Trey should be a manager!! read more

I like the concept of quick build your own pizzas and MODS does a good job. They have plenty of parking for their business. It wasn't busy when I went so it moved quickly. The staff was friendly but also seemed in a rush. I was ordering two pizzas and the worker automatically was going to make them identical even though I said ahead of time that they would be different. The worker put the same sauce on both when that is not what I wanted. They were able to fix it and start over to correct the mistake. They have plenty of options to choose from and you get as much as you'd like. The new plant based sausage is seasoned very well I enjoyed it. It's not a bad place to go if you want something quick to eat. read more

Visiting Mods pizza during the COVID-19 era is still a great experience. The restaurant follows COVID-19 guidelines by wearing masks and gloves. The pizza is a healthy treat. The fun part about this pizzeria is that one can choose what they would like on their pizza and salads. For example, there is gluten free cauliflower crust and/or vegan cheese for a topping. The option of ordering barbecue sauce on top of the pizza is another interesting choice. The pizza is fresh and is not greasy like some other pizzas. read more

The concept of healthier pizza is appealing to me. The pizza ends up tasting pretty good too. I've tried a few locations, and this location does follow suit. I ordered and prefer their double dough style. A little extra crust goes a long way. The breadsticks are great too. For being "healthier" I do wish the calorie count was a bit lower read more

Did I order Jacks pizza. The lack of sauce and topping is unacceptable for the price. I would have been better buying 3 for 10 frozen pizza at Walmart than spend 33 dollars on three topin less and sauce less pizzas. It is very unfortunate since this is my first time trying mods pizza and it is not a good first impression. read more

I ordered from door dash, asked for red sauce dollops. Idk what this is but it certainly isn't that. It's sweet and has seeds... very runny and DRENCHED all over my pizza. The other pizza in my order was perfect, red marinara sauce dotted onto the pizza. This is unacceptable. Pizza was inedible. read more

First of all, this is not real pizza. They do not even make their own dough. The crust they use is premade and is more like cardboard than a pizza crust. The toppings are cheap, low quality toppings. I don't know how this place can get any good reviews, they must be from friends, family, people who work there, and people who just don't know anything about pizza. read more

Skip the pizza, it's not that great but DO get the no name cakes! It's like a homemade ding-dong and it's so good!!!

Good salads, good service, but only decent pizza.. Not particularly flavorful and the crust was not good. Ordered off their website and the available pizzas left a lot to be desired. read more

Worst franchise of the chain. Burnt crust even on the re-fire, and acting as though that is how pizza crust behaves. On top, did not include drink already paid for in the pick up order. I will not return to this franchise, and the chain. Buyer be aware if you choose to patronage this location at the very least! P.s. cant give 0 stars but that is what this location deserves! read more

This is definitely the most diet style pizza with a very unusual thin crust with a fine selection of various vegetables and meats that you choose from. Their is no tipping and your pizza is about $10.00 This is my second time there and am very pleased to report this is the best pizza I have ever had. They use a special open hearth oven and cook it up from scratch in 5 minutes. You tell them to make it your way. Wow this is Nice place. Pizza is cooked in 5 minutes have been there now 3 times . MOD Pizza - So over done and the crust was not what it normally is like for a double crust. Soooo disappointed! - Fast Food Near Me - Waukegan, Illinois

Great healthy delicious ingredients! Supper affordable place to eat a salad or pizza salad. Close to six flags and worth giving a try to first timers. You won't regret. You pay one price for unlimited amount of toppings. They even have a vegan option ( yes vegan cheese). You have chicken, sausage, pepperoni options and all types of vegetables to choose from. They have different types of cheese as well. This is a great family spot. They have a small size for about $6 and the kids can pick all the toppings they want. The staff were friendly and the place was very clean. They have plenty of parking and hotels near by. read more

I had a small pizza with only cheese and pepperoni. The edge of the crust was crisp, but I was disappointed that the rest of the crust was soft and soggy. It tasted ok, but only 4 pieces of pepperoni left a lot of room on top. This was not a terrible pizza, but if I come again, I'll try a salad! read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE ! I had just came back from my trip on Monday and I decided to stop by MOD Pizza here in Waukegan. There were two gals working that night, I asked for the girls name at the register her name was Frita. Such a sweetheart! She and her manager seemed so tired but they still carried a smile on their face! I appreciated the hospitality and great food. I would highly recommend this location if you are looking for a quick bite with fresh ingredients!! read more

I guess I would term this place as a fast food pizza joint. It's not bad pizza, and you get to create your own pizza or pick a type from their menu. But be mindful that when you're creating your own pizza, asking for too much topping, will affect the thorough cooking of the dough. I've noticed that the dough can be semi-cooked if there is too much topping. The simplicity of having any toppings for one price definitely makes everything easy when trying to eat on a budget. Location wise, there is ample parking available, and pretty easy to get to. This are is surrounded be tons of industrial and residential area and so it can get pretty busy during lunch time. read more

Great pizza! I used to think Blaze was long but after coming here several times, MOD is a lot better...there's more options for toppings, type of pizza crust, and they always give it to me fully loaded. MOD Pizza - Heaven in a box!!!! - Fast Food Near Me - Waukegan, Illinois

The only reason I keep returning is that when I'm in the mood for pizza it's in walking distance from my hotel and I'm a glutton for punishment. The staff is always different but they all have the same thing in common. Rhey have either never ate pizza before or have never seen one. Granted, they will add more of something if you ask but the initial topping amount is a joke. Like, seriously, you might hate onions but you aren't eating my pizza. Or they will put things on very lopsided. Like ten olives on one side and 3 on the other. Many times the sauce is the same way and I have to ask them to put it on evenly. It's maddening. I just want to ask then if they have ever seen a pizza before! Well, today all this happened but this time they barely cooked it long enough. The cheese had barely melted and on first bite, it was luke warm. The thing is, once they cut it and you've taken a piece out of it, it can't go back into the oven. So here I am with this soggy mess. If the pizza cost $5 I would have zero problems with this place. But my oder of one pizza and pop and a bottle of water came to $20. As bad as Domino's is, at least it would have been hot. read more

The pizza here is very good. The food itself is great. But since MOD Pizza is a franchise, I'm going to rate this actual location based on my experience instead of the food. Because the food itself you can get at any MOD Pizza. So what I didn't like was my actual customer service experience. This was the closest MOD Pizza to my house which is why I chose to go to this location. I've heard good reviews from friends that the pizza was good and decided to try it. So this was my first time ever stepping foot in MOD Pizza and wasn't sure what to expect at all. As soon as I got there I get rushed. The girl asked me what I would like before I even got a chance to figure out the flow of ordering and taking a look at the menu. I quickly realized it was a build your own pizza place and I told her it was my first time here. She seemed so rushed to take my order and could care less that I was new and unsure of the flow. So I quickly said I like a pizza for each member of the family. She sauces our crusts then asked what we would like on them. I guess we were going too slow and she started helping the people behind me and put our pizzas to the side. I just feel like they should make the first time experience more enjoyable and guide new customers through the process instead of just rushing through all the orders. And it wasn't even that busy. There were only like three people behind me and more than enough staff to get everyone helped without anyone feeling rushed or waiting too long to get their order in. Because the pizza was good but service wasn't. I will be going to a different location next time. read more

Decided to finally try MOD today, I'll stick to Blaze from now on if I want this style of pizza. It was $27 for two pizzas and a drink, which really just wasn't worth it for the mediocre taste. Employees weren't rude per say, but they also weren't very pleasant. I work in food service and I get it sucks to be working right now, but honestly they didn't seem to want to be there at all. I won't be back that's forsure. read more

I currently had a prom Proposal there just this month in April. I decided to do the proposal @ MOD due to the atmosphere and the employees who really make an evening at MOD fun and enjoyable. The way you ask for your pizza, the way you get it! And for someone like me who is sensitive to dairy, they also have vegan and gluten free options. I will drive miles away to come to this location. The management (James) makes sure that a customer gets what they order. And that to me is great management & great service! Great team! read more

Super tasty and inexpensive. We ended up here because the sandwich store next door ran out of bread, lucky us. I recently decided to eat a little healthier (baby steps people; baby steps) and MODS is a perfect location for alternative healthy eating. You pay for the crust not the toppings. A mini pizza was around $5 (and they offer a military discount with proper identification). The pizza was so fresh tasting. I have never had thin crust so as a first timer I'll have to say I've been missing out all my life. My pizza consisted of chicken, white sauce, and mozzarella cheese. I was no chef Boyardee entering MODS But now I KNOW I can give Rachel Ray (not Becky with the good hair)a run for her money. My pizza was in and out the brick oven thing within minutes. Ooooh let me not forget that juice!! Baby let me tell you, it's a thirst trap! I drank like 2 cups before my pizza came out. We ate outside on the patio and it was actually pretty nice. The staff is young but absolutely the sweetest. We enjoyed ourselves so much we came back the next evening for dinner. read more
