We ordered a pizza on the app online, a pizza with half black olives, half mushroom, onions all over and meatballs and light cheese. We received a cheese and sausage pizza, pictured here. I asked that they deliver the pizza to the backdoor. The delivery was flawless! I opened the pizza and saw it clearly wasn't what I ordered, I chatted and asked for refund since I didn't get what I ordered. I was told no. So I paid extra for a pizza I didn't get. I won't be going back EVER again. There are plenty of other places that will provide what I order: Laurettas and Waynes come to mind. I do not recommend going here. i never order their chicken ceasar salad but the other night, i decided to try it. as i was chewing the salad i noticed their was a huge string of brown hair. GROSS. so i pulled the piece of hair out of the salad, and it was so gross. i love their pizza sm its so cheesy n good i always get the deep dish BUT SINCE IM ON A DIET. I GOT THE CHICKEN SALAD. never again. the string of brown hair was like 10 inches long and was digged in the salad. so it was not from us. great service and great store location! the ambiance of the restaurant is great we always go and have a fun time. i wish i can show yall the hair. Great thin crust pizza! The sauce is robust and complements with the cheese well. Sometimes you get a little bit of sauce peaking outside of the cheese onto the crust.. my favorite part.. yum!! Ordered here for months , never a problem. Last 2 orders were ridiculous, No cheese and most of the meat missing on an antipasto salad. Wrong dressing. Did't get the extra dressing. Wings so small and overcooked. Didn't order for a month. Used to order weekly. This order Chicken dinner. We've ordered probably a dozen times. All the chicken was severely over cooked. 4 pc dinner. One small breast. all bone. One small thigh. 3 miniature chicken wings How is that a 4 pc dinner. Barely any fries. Box was mostly empty, used to be full. Manager said they gave us extra chicken. The sad part is he didn't understand, That was our dinner for tonight. So I don't get dinner. New owner? New manager? First of all, I think this is the second time we've ordered from this Rosatis. Gotta say, the first time, we didn't take pictures because we couldn't wait to tear in and DESTROY the deep dish we took home; the smell was amazing, the sauce was fantastic, and it was probably one of the best pizzas I ever got my hands on. Unfortunately, this visit was not so great.. I got the pizza home and opened the box to find that the deep dish we took home was extremely burnt... So about 3 weeks ago I ordered an 18 inch pizza with four toppings and double mozzarella. That's double mozzarella not extra mozzarella there are two selections on the app but unfortunately even the guy who answered the phone tonight doesn't know the difference however the price is different. I got that pizza and it was awesome tons of cheese cost me $30 but I didn't care because it was really good. So tonight I decide to order an 18-in cheese pizza with double mozzarella I even call back and repeated it to the guy did I say double mozzarella? He said yes. I pick up the pizza and it is absolutely horrible not only does it have next to no cheese on it but there's barely any sauce. I told him I was using a coupon which I got last time I was there. it's incredibly obvious that they put less sauce and less cheese when you use a coupon. It was the worst pizza I've ever had. I would rather have a Sam's Club Pizza. I called to tell the guy(sat on hold 8 mins) and he told me it's the same extra mozzarella or double mozzarella however on the app it's a different price so obviously it's not the same. I will never go back here again now you lose a customer forever how smart is that?? You saved a couple dollars. But now you lose a customer forever. I just ordered a deep dish pizza (half sausage, half pepperoni) from this Rosati location. I got it home and opened up the box. Very soggy and TONS of tomato clumps. I started to eat a slice and could not find any pepperoni or sausage on the slice I started to eat. Nothing on top, at least. I ate half of it and had not found a single slice of pepperoni. I actually called the Rosati's location and they offered to "recook it" if I could "prove" there was no pepperoni. I ate more and I finally did find a VERY thin half slice of pepperoni imbedded in the cheese. I found sausage pieces on about 3 quarters of the pizza, but there was no pepperoni anywhere on top. It was a very strangely constucted pizza that was as soggy, as overwhelmed with tomatoes, and as lacking in any meaningful level of pepperoni slices as any pepperoni pizza I have ever had in my decades of eating pizza. Sad because my son ordered from a different Rosati's and his pizza was great. Bottom line, if you want a good pizza from people who know what they're doing (or care about what they're doing), then you should look elsewhere. This is not the place. This Rosati's location on this night was utterly AWFUL. Based on this experience and their feeble attempt to provide any meaningful reslution to a first time customer, I give them 1 star! Even with a couple of tiny, very thin half pieces of pepperoni per slice on a deep dish pizza was, the pizza was terrible (pathetic!) and the defense of such a terrible pizza was itself indefensible. Antipasto salad great , sweet italian is my choice of dressing (A little diferent, typical antipasto and not a new wave impression, Pizza excellent ( Thin ) . Pasta, their saucing are good, Volka, meat or marinara, pasta done perfectly. italian specialties excellent. Go to place. I've had Rosatti's elsewhere Ilke many of them, but this is the best. We ordered 6 pizzas for my son's birthday party. I was a little nervous because we had a time limit at the venue we rented out. I called at 11:00 am and the pizzas were delivered hot and fresh at 1:00! The poor delivery driver braved the snowy weather to get us our food in time :( The pizzas were awesome. I had been seeing the sign "Under New Management" for a few weeks and decided to try it. I love Rosati's pizza, but I was leery about the poor reviews this particular location had received. However, I boldly tried it. Whatever this location's previous ailments were, there was no indication that they remained. The pizza was exactly as you would expect from Rosati's. I had asked about the "new management" and the gentleman told me that it was now corporate. I'm not nuts about their crust, but I order Rosati's from different locations because of their tangy sauce and sausage done just the way I like it. It's a tasty pizza. Rosati's is a great take out restaurant. Their counter staff is always apologetic if you're waiting more than they want you to. The food is great, even if it feels a little over priced. From the thin crust to the deep dish, the food is above what you'd expect. My two negatives are that the prices seem a bit high and the interior is in need of a serious face lift. The food is good. Lost a customer . As a business they just do not care about service. On one occasion I was told I did not have to have a printed coupon on my call today I asked if they might make an exception as I was going to Wings Etc and they had closed. Over the years, I've been to many Rosati's and had a fair number of items from the menu. This unit has been very inconsistent but better recently. The pizza is above average for the area. The sandwiches are well made. The Cheef, an Italian Beef w/mozzarella has always been good and I've never been served the shredded scrapings from the bottom of the pan. The time estimates for when your food will be ready are reliable. If you've been to other Rosati's, you will get what you expect from a Rosati's, and if you haven't, this will provide a fair sampling. We stopped in one night late, passing through town after an event at the college. We really like Rosati's Pizza and hoped that it was open. The sign said open but it was clear they were closing. We asked if we could get a pizza and the man said no. The cook was standing behind him and said YES! The first man said ok, it was really up to him. I thought I would give them one more chance, and that's what I told the manager when I called to place my order. When home, I opened the package and there was an item missing. They are, at least, consistent in screwing up every single order I make. Well, that "one more chance" doesn't deserve another. My suggestion to you would be to skip this restaurant. If you want great pizza, go to Wayne's in Third Lake. If you want great Italian beefs, go to Portillo's in Gurnee.
