My pizzas are always consistent and good. Last time Robin helped me, he was very kind and patient. I come here often with my daughter. There is another guy who works there with neck tattoos, he isn't rude, just not very personable. He may be a manager, I see him every time I come. I typically have to wipe my table every time I go, although I think this is just a MOD thing. The wooden tables aren't a good idea for cleanliness, every MOD I go to has the same tables. I love this concept. My littlest Grandson, now 13, introduced me to MOD in Round Rock years ago. I have been pleased their Pizza each time I have gone to any MOD. Nobody in the family eats Pineapple and Ham but me and with the white sauce I can tasted it. I feel their prices are reasonable, crust is thin and crispy and the restaurant is clean. One thing that awesome is that you get the toppings you want. The selections are numerous. For a reasonably priced pizza, to feed a family in the tough times it is definitely worth it for the pocket book and I feel the pizza is better than other pizza places in my opinion. Ok. So I've seen this place in place as a chain in DFW but have never been. In Houston for a basketball tournament and we needed a quick alternative to the usual bland Domino's Pizza. We found this place that offers gluten-free and basically make your own pizza that is super quick and efficient so we can be at a nearby pizza party with the other basketball players. This place did not disappoint. The gluten-free pizza was gone quickly and enjoyed. I got a mini with sausage and mushrooms and it was a perfect size. My teen got the meat lovers pizza and he loved it. My husband got a make your own salad and everything was fresh and tasty. We're hoping that there will be a mod pizza in Fort Worth soon as we really enjoyed the personalized aspect and the options available for pizza that tastes amazing. We will definitely be going back to this location on our future adventures here in Houston. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. My family visited MOD on May 21. They were having issues with their credit card machines and tried running our card 5 times. The young man told me "Don't worry about it, we will just comp your meal, thanks for your patience." Well two days later those five swipes showed up on my bank statement, totaling over $300. They refunded two of those payments immediately, but here it is almost two months later and MOD has yet to rectify this. I have sent multiple emails and made multiple calls and gotten nowhere. So be careful with your money at MOD, they seem to have no problem stealing from their customers! read more

Normally I am a huge MOD pizza fan but today it was just not very good. The 2 guys behind the counter making pizzas could not even crack a smile. I had to practically beg for extra cheese and he still barely put it on. The you g lady that assisted at the register was super great. Then the pizza is ready and the crust is definitely not the same. MOD what did you do? It's thinner and has a strange taste to it. I don't know if it's all of the stores that changed or just this one. I have been quite a number of times in the past and it was great and so were the employees. This place is good if you come during the slow hours. During lunch the whole thing falls apart. The bar is an absolute mess, food everywhere. Toppings being mixed together haphazardly, and I watched not one, but TWO employees go to the back room to get additional toppings, come back and not change their gloves. Meanwhile they opened the door as well as presumably a fridge door in the back. It would be one thing if they used utensils to apply the toppings--but they use their glove hands. No issues there, just not nearly enough glove changing. I eat here once a week regardless as it's easy, but definitely would like to see some improvement. read more

This MOD pizza stores with the basics. The staff is friendly enough. However the food struggles with consistency. One if my biggest gripes about this location is the amount&size of the air bubbles in the pizzas. My son's pizza 2/3 if it didn't have ANY toppings. My 2 daughters 1/3 no toppings. This is not just a small bubble here or there... huge ones. I purchased the cheese bread as well, and the only cheese was in the center and was inedible. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY. I spent over 50 dollars for the four of us and since the line was so long and the mgr in nonstop panic, gave up on trying to get it fixed. This is not the first time. Whatever they are doing wrong(whether it's mishandling the dough, or what) THESE results are not typical of a MOD pizza. I hope others read this and hold them to the standard- because we won't be back. read more

This was such a neat place! The line moved so quickly and I loved being able to totally customize my pizza for only $8!! Unfortunately my experience was not a pleasant one due to the employees and their poor attitudes lack of concern for customers. I have only lived in Tomball for 2 years and still trying to find our "regular" go to places. This very well could have been one of them. This review would be a 2 1/2 star if possible. First of all, the pizza was good, for the price you pay it was good pizza. Much better than youth group, base ball team big 3 Domino's, Papa John's and Pizza Hut. I would eat their pizza again. However, the service was terrible on a Friday night. My wife ordered three pizzas to be ready for pick up at 5:45 pm. When she went to pick it up 2 were ready and they had forgotten about the third. There were only two guys working the oven. So nearly an hour later the third pizza was ready while the other two were then cold. Great. There was a lady in the restaurant who ordered a salad but couldn't find the forks. The MOD pizza staff informed the lady that there were no forks in the restaurant and that they were sorry... no forks? They couldn't have ran to the nearby HEB or Kroger to pick up plastic ware? Anyways, good pizza and a message to MOD Pizza Tomball, get your stuff together on a Friday night, don't forget about orders and don't send your customers home an hour later past pickup time with cold pizza. I gone to this Mod pizza a total of 6 times since it opened and I have yet to have a bad experience. Each time I go, I'm always greeted at the door and the workers are really attentive. My favorite employee there is Kassie. She always seems really happy to be there and is quick too! Anytime I go there and she is there, my order gets done so quickly! She always ask if we want anything extra too, which is also nice. I haven't gotten to learn the other employees names yet but they are really nice too and are really attentive. They're a young crew, which might irk some people but they're really energetic and silly. I saw that some people said that they skimp out on toppings but I don't think that they asked for a little bit more because whenever I go, I always ask for a little bit more of cheese or pepperoni and they always give it to me, no questions asked. I honestly thought the portions they give out were good, so i'm not sure what the problem was... As for the quality of the pizza, it sure beats any other pizza place. I love being able to select whatever toppings I want and customize it right there. They have a huge selection. I usually get basil, garlic, pepperoni, bacon, extra cheese and crushed peppers. The crust is tasty too and their lemonade is to die for. I always refill my cup before I leave. It's a nice little location and seems like a great place to hang out after work or after class. The seating is pretty nice too. They have booths and long tables, in case you go there with your friends or show up with your entire family. My only complaint is that the music is a little too loud sometimes but at least the music is good, so it's not that big of a deal. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends. I came here the first two times with my Fiance and after that, I went with some friends who had never been before and they liked it too. read more

We have been to the Mod Tomball location several times for lunch and it has always been great. Tonight we came for dinner and it was a big disappointment. I order gluten free pizza because of a gluten free sensitivity. Service was very slow. About 8 pizzas sat on the side table to go into the oven. The oven was empty. It took about 10 mins before any pizzas went into the oven. The two guys manning the pizza oven jumbled up the order papers to the 8 pizzas so they had no idea who's pizza was who's. My gluten free pizza ended up on someone else gluten contaminated paper and cut with the same pizza cutter as everyone else's. The counters and floors, tables all needed to be cleaned and soda machine didn't work with also meant you couldn't get water unless you paid for a bottle of water. read more
