I ordered MOD Pizza on DoorDash on March 27th around 7:20 PM, but my order was missing the Mike's Hot Honey I paid for. Having worked at MOD before, I get that things can get hectic especially on a Friday night when it's raining, but after reading similar reviews, it seems like it's a recurring issue at this location. The pizza itself was decent--I tried ricotta with pineapple, Canadian bacon, and mozzarella, which was interesting, but I prefer it with just the hot honey for that perfect sweet and spicy kick and without the ricotta. The salad, however, was disappointing--only about four croutons and a weird taste. If I ever go and visit in person, I hope they do better with accuracy on condiments and extras.

This location was disgusting. Staff had long, uncovered hair while handling food, tables and floors were filthy, and drink dispensers were broken. Our pizza came out burnt, and when I complained, they said it was "supposed to look that way." Half of us got sick the next day. Serious hygiene and management issues--definitely avoid.

I absolutely love coming here for some fresh and great tasting pizza! It's great that you get unlimited toppings and the portion size is honestly perfect. I got a 'mini' salad and a regular 'mod' sized pizza, I had leftovers for the next day! Staff is super friendly & does not skimp on any of the toppings! Highly recommend this place if you're wanting a better pizza than takeout but not anything fancy.

Delicious "personal size" pizzas with excellent taste and quality are hard to find! We got two different ones of their original Mod pizzas (I like the mega crust too one as well) and I think for two pizzas, two drinks coming out to $28 isn't bad! I've been here twice in the past two weeks and the customer service from the workers have been incredible. It's hard to find places that are patient and don't seem so miserable they don't want to service you. I've never had an issue here any of the times I've gone! Tasty pizza with minimal wait is a place that will have me coming time and time again!

This was my first time at MOD. It did not disappoint. I'm a picky eater. Gluten and dairy free. I choose the Calexico on a cauliflower crust with vegan cheese. It was excellent. The spicy chicken was excellent and the texture and taste of the crust was really good. The place itself is bustling and the staff stay on top of it with a smile. Overall this was a great experience and I'd definitely eat here again.

Ordered MOD Pizza through Doordash - extremely convenient considering the circumstances, 100% No Face to Face contact! We ordered two custom Mod Pizzas 1) Pepperoni, Mozzarella, Asiago, Red Sauce, and Spinach 2) Spicy Turkey Sausage, Pepperoni, Asiago, Mozzarella, Parmesan, Jalapeños, Peppers, Pineapple, Spinach, Arugula, Hot Buffalo Sauce, Salami, Oregano, Red Peppers, Fresh Rosemary, etc! We also tried the cheese bread which was delicious - the dough was pressed well and was light as well as fluffy. The toppings are almost endless and definitely not limited! Inexpensive and fresh on demand! Great service and a wonderful employee/service culture! Beautiful business ethic.

This Mod is located in the newer part of the 1604/blanco so we decided to hit it up. Upon arrival we are greeted very eagerly by the female employee. It would be a lot easier to see what's what If there were labels on everything. It was pretty empty in there and still felt like the staff was rushing through putting toppings on. The female made my pizza which came out well with a good amount of toppings. The male who made the other pizza was rushed and didn't even attempt to put a proper amount of toppings on it. Based on the limited amount of toppings that they put on the second pizza we wouldn't come back.

The service at this location is horrible. The staff are rude and lazy. The 281/Stone Oak location is much better!!

We were warmly welcomed by our waiter, who seated us at a table with a lovely view of the river. We ordered the Funghi pizza to share between two people. The pizza was fresh, crispy, straight out of the oven, piping hot, and so delicious. I'd rate it an 8.5/10. The fresh mushrooms paired perfectly with the truffle, creating a rich and earthy flavor. The caramelized onions added just the right touch of sweetness, making the pizza perfectly balanced. This was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely love to revisit and try some of the other pizzas.

I ordered the Sweet Texas Heat pizza--white sauce, applewood smoked bacon, Calabrian pepper, fresh basil, hot honey. It sounds like a whole experience, right? Sweet, spicy, smoky... all the things. But it was not giving Texas... or heat. Biggest issue? Overcooked. And when thin crust is overcooked, it's a wrap. Dry, brittle, no life left in it. The pictures don't lie. Flavor-wise, I could tell there was potential in that combo, but I couldn't get past the dryness. Once that texture is off, the whole thing falls apart. And for $35? I was definitely left wanting. Now in all fairness--the side salad? Very, very good. Fresh, crisp, well done. But let's be honest... I wasn't paying $35 for a salad. I did see some great reviews, which is why I chose this spot, so don't let me be the final word. Try it for yourself. But me? I won't be back.

Fast forward to my visit to Via 313 also a Detroit establishment serving pizza...and let me just say!! It is a must go!! The pizza was amazing (we had the detroiter again) and also the Cesar salad...our friends also had other various pizzas and they all highly enjoyed it. The service was awesome and the restaurant is clean and has a cool ambiance. It was my birthday so they gave me free cinnamon sticks with a cream cheese icing...Sooooo good!! Def a 5 star experience! The Detroiter is crispy, chewy, buttery, and all the delicious things rolled into this pillowy goodness. We ordered the arugula salad with goat cheese, they being it the salad and say they were out of goat cheese, and I was okay with it. Then they come back and say, we did have gorgonzola. I was confused. So they put down the cheese and it's goat cheese. Anyway, the salad was incredible, but let's be real, the goat cheese makes ALL the difference. They were also out of my man's go-tos on tap. Which was a slight bummer for him. Service is always friendly and the restaurant is very cool, like escape the heat cool, with a chill vibe. I still love the heck out of this pizza!

Pros: - Attractive space - Waiter was fine, he was friendly enough. - They had a few gluten free items, which was a main reason we went, but they do NOT have a dedicated menu, you have to ask. - The burrata cheese and veggie board was great. Definitely the best part of the meal, although the gluten free toast was extra brown and crispy. The veggies had great flavor, though. Cons: - Ridiculously overpriced for the quality of the food. - Gluten free pasta was quite overcooked. It was mostly mush by the time I got it. I love that they HAVE gluten free options, but come on, it would help if you cooked them properly. It was barely edible. - Sauce was bland and too sweet. - There was no attempt or offering to make the experience more accessible for my disabled son. No plastic cups, etc. Would be nice if they had more inclusivity. All in all, almost $200 for lunch for a family of four. Definitely not worth the money.
