Amazing brick oven thin crust pizza! Couldn't wait to take a picture and this is the third time I have been here. The staff is super friendly and they have plenty on hand so there is never a wait. Prices are reasonable and options are endless. As a vegetarian I had plenty of options and varieties of vegetables to try. At least 8-9 different meat topping options and an array of cheeses. Everything is a flat rate so go crazy but be mindful that it isn't the strongest crust (but that doesn't mean it isn't delicious!) so don't overload. They have normal fountain drinks but the lemonade is good enough to chug. Will continue going back here again and again. read more

Great selection of toppings and you can get real creative. Cracker style crust. I was hoping for some kind G.O. specials or something. Just reg prices. My humble opinion: it's ok. Better then it's competition. But $9 seems a bit much for what you get. It is convenient. But $10 @pizza hut gives you the same options but a much better pie. I don't care for the hut very much. The food is amazing. We ordered two pizzas and one came out. We saw the young man make them. The two women working there seemed mad at the world. This customer in front of us salad was made wrong so one of the girls had an attitude about that. I asked the other lady about my pizza that one of ours had come out and they had no idea where it was. It's not that they were busy either. She remade the pizza and the food is amazing. I just thought both ladies were ready to close and were really not concerned with the customer orders they were messing up. I had a free coupon for An 11 inch pizza from mod so we headed there Friday night for a quick meal. I made my own pizza with a pesto base, mozzarella, feta, Asiago, spinach, garlic and pepperoni. It was good in general. The base is a very thin crust which crisps up nicely in the oven. They do have a double thick option for all those who don't enjoy thin crust. The crust provides a good base for the toppings but I will say it didn't have any flavor. The toppings were good and I like that you can customize your pizza. It is pretty reasonably priced for an 11 inch pizza with all the toppings you could want. I want to say it would have been around 9 dollars without the coupon. I couldn't finish mine so two people could probably share a pizza and a salad. They also have a mini option for those who don't have a big appetite. I ordered a thick crust pizza with bacon, sausage, pineapple, and ranch swirl. There's no bacon or ranch swirl. I also ordered a regular MOD pizza with all the meats, onion, fresh, basil, roasted garlic, and srirancha swirl. It's missing basil, garlic, and srirancha. I have ordered MOD pizza from Door Dash 12 times in the past 3 months. There was only TWO OCCASIONS when they didn't mess up my order. I don't get it!!! There's a pandemic going on, I don't want to have to go stand at the restaurant with other people so I can babysit the people making the food to ensure they didn't forget half the ingredients!!! My husband and I both enjoy trying new places every once in a while. We have yet to try this place so we decided to give it a go. It was overwhelming for us "first timers". When we went, there was a family sitting down eating and that was it. The staff wasn't too interested in explaining things to us. Weren't good with eye contact. Would rush us after making decisions. Relocating to Charlotte, SC and looking for a good pizza place. MOD Pizza on Independence Blvd was not it. Not only was the pizza crust soft and gummy, their customer service was very poor. Their website indicted that delivery was an option, but made no mention that delivery would be made by Door Dash. Delivery was timely, but we were missing part of our order. Door Dash indicated that no other items were given to the driver. When we contacted MOD they said we can't help you and I quote "You should have came and picked it up yourself." I usually have a good experience when I go through the line and order inside the restaurant, however, I have tried ordering through the app twice and both times they didn't start making my pizza until I arrived after the time I was told it would be ready. This is our new favorite pizza place!! We just happened to be driving by and saw it, so we decided to stop in. The staff was friendly and spoke to us as we entered. They explained our options. We got the mega pizza, which is two pizzas stacked on top of each other. It cost about $12. We picked our toppings and it took only FIVE minutes for our pizza to cook. We love this place for lunch or dinner. Pizzas are great - you can take one of their signature pizzas then add additional toppings or modify in any way you want. The salads are excellent as well. You can get creative and add any of the pizza toppings to the salad. The people who work there are really nice and helpful, it's clean, it looks nice, and I think this would be a good choice if you were taking several people out to eat. Everyone should be able to find something that makes them happy. I will say that a pizza is big enough for two - unless you're super hungry - and I think it's a good value. read more

MOD is located right near Pie 5. They essentially have the same concept, but Pie 5 wins it in my view. MOD has plentiful and creative toppings. The staff is also plentiful and nice (albeit disquietingly loud -- they shout hello and goodbye to patrons in unison). There's lots s of seating in a good looking restaurant. Where MOD falls to Pie 5 is in the crust., which is more of a traditional pizza crust whereas The MOD crust is more like a giant tasteless cracker. The pizza is fast because the crust is thinner. Or it's supposed to be. My experience with Pie 5 is that they're as fast, if not faster. But they do theirs on a conveyor through an oven as opposed to the more traditional oven at MOD. read more

It took a wee bit longer to serve than I expected at a half-empty store, but it was not a problem. Not quite as good as Blaze for the pizza, but I preferred Mod's salad choices.
