I was iffy to try this place at first. I thought, "Great, another build your pizza place in Corona..." However I stopped in during a lunch break after the rest of my coworkers decided to come here and am so glad I did! It is the tastiest build your own pizza I've had. I ordered the same that I usually order at other build-your-owns so that I could compare. The ingredients taste fresh and are flavorful. The crust is baked to perfection, and best of all it's not burnt! I've been to many other places where there are remnants of burnt pizza in the oven stuck to the bottom of my pizza. Yuck! Yummy! I have been excited to try this since I heard they were putting one in. This place does not disappoint! I'm a Pieology fan, but hate Pizza Rev. I have to say Mod out-pies all of its competitors. The toppings are so fresh & the crust is perfectly crispy, enough so that toppings don't fall off why you're trying to eat your pizza(because who wants that). Their lemonades and black tea were delicious and also fresh, not to mention they are using everyone's FAVORITE ice! We also got a free sample of their chocolate shake, which was cool and also yummy. The staff was helpful and super friendly, really great vibes within the team. I was watching two members, who I assume to be a manager and a team member, in a teaching moment and after they were finished they high fived and moved on. If you are a vegetarian or vegan I would not go here ! Multiple times I have seen them cross contamination the veggie ! They use the same gloves that touch the meat on the veggies. I've made a comment in person before about how they should change there gloves ... nothing has changed I gave them another try months later with new employees doing the same cross contamination !! read more

Good food, a bit pricey if everyone gets their own, but you get what you pay for. I like that they offer 2 sizes (11' and 6"), unlike a certain other pizza pie place down the street. I also appreciate their variety of toppings. Try a finisher (sauce drizzle) after your pizza comes out of the oven, you won't be disappointed. read more

As you can see I never write reviews. But this place went over board today. Someone from corporate needs to correct this ASAP. This happened not only once with the GM herself but second and third time with their regular employees. Went in today and ordered my usual. 2 mod pizza 1 vegan and 1 reg. My son is severely allergic to cheese and cow products so we try to avoid it as much as we can. Homegirl who helped me got such a damn attitude when i simply asked her to change gloves. "You know we are not allergy friendly right" she states demeaningly. This is not my first rodeo eating at your joint. I know exactly what im doing. Its called preventative measures. Yes, my son is allergic but if you just change your damn gloves he'll be fine. What's the damn big deal with changing your gloves? You want 5cents for it or maybe 10cent for a pair. Or maybe you just too damn lazy! Anyways, she did ending up changing her gloves and a second later she gets pesto on her gloves. Pesto got parmesan sometimes didnt want to risk it. I was even nice and asked her to change her gloves again nicely. At this point she looked so annoyed by my request. "You know our back oven has a lot of cheese did you know that" again with an attitude. Of course, now im heated. She then passes the pie to another employee all mad to finish me off with the toppings. Your arrogance is gonna kill someone one day. Allergies is a serious matter you need to be more serious about it and train your employees to be cautious, courteous, and accommodating to people's request. You guys offer vegan cheese yes? This is why we eat here because you guys have this option. Now you guys just struck out, probably lost a good customer and 10 more friends who dine with you guys weekly. For what? I visited Mod Pizza for the first time with my brother and sister-in-law, who live in Corona, for the Grand Opening. Even though it was busy, the employees seemed more than happy to answer all of my questions and make me the best pizza ever! I love the crushed ice. The manager, Emily, introduced herself and asked how everything was. It was evident how much pride she took in the operation of the business and staff. This location just opened and fits the build your own pizza model that is becoming more popular. Compared to similar pizza restaurants in Corona, the pizza was cooked pretty quickly and was delicious. The pizza was cooked perfectly (avoiding the commonly burnt crust ends from other places) and the topping selection was large. For being the opening weekend, all the employees were on it, everything was clean, and Big Mike made sure to introduce himself to all customers to make sure they were having a great time. This is my first time at MOD Pizza and my experience was TERRIBLE! I pre ordered my pizza 30 minutes in advance and when I arrived (10 minutes after my set pick up time) I waited 40 minutes until the staff realized that my pizza was taken by another customer. It was during the lunch rush so I only asked where my pizza was once and the employee told me that it was in the oven. Terrible service! read more

I just went to this fast food pizza joint for the first time. They are pretty fast, but good things usually take time - especially good pizza. The crust was super thin and overcooked. Hardly any sauce or cheese was added. What should have cost $4 -$5 for a mini pizza and drink, was over $9.
