I've been on three occasions now to two different locations and the quality and quickness are bar none! Very trendy and where it's at when it comes to pizza! I live ordering thick crust mod with half pesto, half white sauce, arugula, spinach and basil, artichoke, red peppers and jalapeños and sometimes spicy chicken sausage or no meat. Add all herbs and spices and there you go and galore butter around the rim. I will say that with all the young staff it's sucks to see it's still stays messy around they food trays and people trying to move so fast that I hate seeing food cross contaminate. It really puts a bad taste in my mouth and makes me think twice. There's a couple of girls with an attitude in the Northfield location that will give you the side eye for asking for more ingredients. The centennial location was way friendlier, but less clean. They still get four because I love the concept, live my pizza creation and I know I'll be back. VERY RASIST!!! Me and my sister went in for lunch and i had asked for water cups, weirdly they did not have their water labeled as water so i got sprite. The manager then made a big scene and made us uncomfortable. We got our food and sure enough there was hair in it. Overall experience was terrible felt very uncomfortable the whole time. read more

One caveat, if you are intent on destroying your pizza with white sauce, peppers, and anchovies - they ain't gonna stop you. Oregano goes great on pizza, but I asked for it instead of it being suggested, and I got a "right on" for my choice. I'm writing this review for my teenage son, who LOVED this place when we visited and made me promise not to Yelp it unless I was going to give it five stars... So, I'm giving it five stars (even though I alone might have given it four -- family happiness is worth a star, isn't it?!?). According to my son, "It's like Subway, but with beer (which he didn't have) and pizza!" Frankly, I don't think I could sum it up any better. It's a typical "build your own pizza" place where you pay a flat price for a pie ($7-8ish) and then get unlimited choices of toppings which they put on your pizza right in front of your eyes while you stand at a Subway-like counter. This particular place had a VERY wide variety of toppings, cheeses, and other good stuff. Service was fast and our pizzas were ready within less than 5 minutes. Boy oh boy, were they tasty too! It's like Subway for pizza. That's not meant to be a deterrent because the pizza is really good. The crust is thin but tastes very good and the quality of the ingredients is top notch. Also cool that they have some draft beers to choose from. The pizza cooks really fast and the price is pretty cheap for what you get. Under $20 for two decent sized personal pizzas with unlimited toppings and fountain drinks is a really good value nowadays. The employees are also super chill and created a comfortable and welcoming environment for us. I will be coming back here again and recommend that others do the same! read more

MOD Pizza hits the mark on several accounts... service, food and price. I didn't know what to expect as it is a pizza joint --- but it is not your normal pizza. The menu is extremely creative and you can customize just about anything. Infact you can add every single topping on your pizza at no additional cost. Not bad for a fast casual place, not bad at all. You can really let your creativity loose at MOD. Or if you have decision anxiety, they have ones with a pre-selected ingredient list. I like to go at it. I occasionally come to MOD for lunch during the weekday, not something I always crave but it's good when I want to switch things up a bit (like from the next door chipotle). I do love the concept, whatever you want on the pizza with no extra cost. Only size determines price. I usually get the MOD pizza (11''), some days, half of the pizza is enough (other half is saved for another meal) some days, I can finish the whole thing. They have a mini MOD size (6'') that's adorable, but only couple bucks cheaper. My go to pizza order from anywhere is either Hawaiian or BBQ chicken, so I kinda combine them when I can make my own. I get red sauce, mozarella, chicken, bacon, spicy chicken sausage, pineapple, mushrooms, more mozarella, and top it off with a BBQ swirl. Really though, do whatever your heart desires. The service is streamlined, it can get busy after 11:30 work lunch time, we try to come before then. There's a parking lot shared with chipotle and Garbanzo. read more

Made On Demand-MOD, in case you didn't know. I remember when Modern Market had to change their name from Mod Market when the pizza chain was coming to town... Love bringing friends here who've never been. It's a great way to do pizza and/or a salad. I actually get a hankering for their salads, and love to add bacon to anything I get! They greet you when you walk in, and help you through the process each time. All you really need to know is what you like and then just walk along the line and pick our your ingredients. I always like to check to see what their seasonal pizza and employee fave is for the month too. Often times it's something you wouldn't think to try on your own. The future of Pizza!! This place is amazing! The pizza is mouth watering, wait time is less than 5 minutes, service is outstanding and the price is down right cheap for what you get! For a flat price you get to build your own pizza and put whatever you want on it! It's hard to complain about the food when you choose exactly what to put on it. Never tried this restaurant before and there were a lot of issues they were having on their website that were not resolved, so I called to order. My impression of the restaurant when waiting for my order was that it was a mindless factory, putting out cookie-cutter pizzas by the tens of dozens. I asked about ingredients and they told me to look them up online, that they had no idea. After trying the pizza and salad, the crust was tasteless and like cardboard. The toppings were equally tasteless and lifeless. The salad dressing contained soybean oil, which I found online, so I didn't use it. The salads are all pre-made, probably from their supplier, as are their crusts (and probably all their pizza ingredients), are all are lifeless and tasteless. I ended up throwing it all out. As someone who values their health and what I consume, I do not recommend this factory food restaurant at all. read more

This chipotle-style pizza place knows how make a girl smile. I created my own pizza and thought it was the best pizza ever (especially for the price -- $7.27 unlimited toppings). I don't even remember what I got on my pizza (a lot of veggies and garlic), but I do remember the people working the assembly line being extremely friendly. The pizza came out in about 5-7 minutes, so hot, so fresh -- I couldn't contain my excitement (and apparently still can't). I additionally got a side of srirancha. Yum. The crust was crispy and doughy. There were plenty of veggies on the pizza -- no skimping on the toppings! The MOD size is quite large. I was only able to eat half before I waved my flag to surrender. This place is better than all of the other create your own pizza places! I came here not knowing 100% what to expect...me and my wife like completely opposite foods so I thought this might work well for us (we don't compromise well on dinner). The concept is like Qudoba, Chipotle, ect. You pick the size of pizza you want and you tell them what you want on it. Unlike Chipotle you can add as much as you want for the same price. They do have speciality pizzas but you can see add/edit out ingredients. I got a speciality pizza adding mushrooms, black olives, jalapeños, red peppers and roasted garlic. I had to stop adding because I was just pointing to everything. Even being busy it took about 10mins for our pizzas to be ready which was faster than I thought would occur. I recently went here for lunch because I love pizza. I drove by this place and thought I'd try it out. I went to a restaurant with a concept similar to this one in California and was surprised to see that one opened so close to where I live. The service was really quick and the staff were really on it. They pushed out pizza orders like you wouldn't believe. They guys also cleaned up tables really fast. I came during the lunch rush and people were coming and going pretty frequently. I chose to do a MOD pizza (make your own) because places never quite seem to have exactly what I want. I went for the veggie option and put pesto and garlic down as a base. I added arugula, mozzarella, parmesan, mushroom, red onion, and sun dried tomatoes with a balsamic drizzle on top. The pizza went straight into their wood fired oven and came out delicious. The crust was crunchy and chewy at the same time, a feat very difficult to achieve. All of the toppings stayed on really well and of course all went really well together, at least on my tastebuds. This place is all in all a pretty great place and I can't wait to eat here again! read more

Searching Yelp for something quick, easy and fresh near my hotel and stumbled upon MOD Pizza. Their online ordering was so convenient, and in the 10 minutes spent driving to pick it up, it was already baked. Upon walking in the door, everyone said hi, the guy behind the counter actually greeted me by my first name, which was really nice when you're a thousand miles from home and feeling homesick. The pizza was phenomenal. I usually take a picture before diving in, but I couldn't wait on this one. I got mozzarella and asiago on red sauce with bacon pepperoni, mushrooms and black olives. So. Delicious. Everything tastes fresh and flavorful, not too greasy or heavy, just right. I'll definitely be back for another pie next time I'm in the Denver area! read more

OMG...LOVE this place! Fun atmosphere, love to create different pizzas every time I go. Only tip I have is that it gets packed and loud during lunch hour (and even a little after). If you can go a little earlier, it helps a lot (especially if you are with someone and want to chat). I have been to this location more than a dozen times and never had any issues with food (usually take some of my order home for later ;-). Service is also good (cannot believe how quickly they crank out the pizzas). If you haven't been, it works quite similarly to Chipotle or Qdoba (you can pick an item with ingredients already determined and customize if you like or start from scratch and choose as you go down the line like I do). They have items like grilled corn, 6 or more types of cheese, artichokes, different types of peppers, and pf course meats. The best part, IMO, is the crust! read more

Pizza I ordered: Dominic Pizza (white sauce, asiago, fresh chopped basil, red onion, sliced tomatoes, mild sausage) and a Green Goddess Salad. . I requested they leave off the sausage and just add some jalapeños. . Pizza I received: Asiago cheese almost indistinguishable. Not sure if they were tomatoes - a few tiny pieces of something red that looked more like small pieces of red bell pepper. Few stringy pieces of red onion. No basil. Jalapeños. . The salad was good. Now, this order may not have been given serious attention since I requested delivery to an extended stay hotel. If that is the case, it is unfortunate for MOD Pizza. I am staying here temporarily until escrow closes on my new home in this area. I doubt I'll be ordering from MOD Pizza again in the future. read more
