You can choose their combinations which range from vegetarian, chicken, meat lovers, pepperoni and tons of others. There's several styles of crust available. You literally can get whatever you want on the pizza. You order, they make it, cook it, call your name. They also have cinnamon sticks and cheese bread and also a brownie that I've not had. I would like to start this review off by saying I don't eat at MOD pizza too often because I have had not so good times in the past. But my last experience changed my view on this location! My pizza was cooked perfectly and i received a good helping of every topping I had asked for. The staff was friendly and had good recommendations to give me. Also, although they were slightly busy because of their dinner rush I never felt like I was waiting too long, they were fast and seemed to be enjoying their work! Great job! read more

The toppings were all fresh and if you a little extra of something just ask and best of all the pizza is less than $10. Sorry bistro and upscale pizza restaurants, this is THE place to go. The restaurant is clean and nicely laid out, it even has an upscale vibe to it, no hole in the wall cheap eatery here. The pizza and the salad was awesome, this has definitely become one of my fav stops when in KC. Also do not sleep on the tea, it was by far one of the best cups of sweet fruit tea I've ever had, I'm hindsight wish I'd bought a whole gallon of it for the long ride back home. Endless options but also preset options in case you aren't sure what to try. If you want more of something or less of something else just ask, completely customizable! We also love their pesto you can get on the side or right on top, my husband prefers the balsamic glaze. Our favorite "Sonic style" ice and yummy homemade beverages as well. Love this place, great for vegans and everyone. They don't charge extra for vegan cheese like other places. So much more toppings too. They don't seem to lessen one topping just because I order several. Only down side is I almost always order online, my order is always right, but I seem to have to wait longer here then other places to get someone to pay attention to me and get my order even when it is ready. The one time I've eaten here I thought it was nice that you could create your own pizza and I thought the pizza tasted okay but later that evening I woke up extremely sick and wondered if I had gotten food poisoning I called the restaurant the next day and asked if they'd had any reports of food poisoning as I had had spinach on my pizza and there have been many reports in the news that week of people getting listeria and other foodborne illnesses from spinach. They dismissed my thoughts immediately and seem to treat me as if I were making it up didn't offer any sort of condolences whatsoever and needless to say I won't be back. read more

I would like to give this place a 4.5 out of 5 stars. The pizza is delicious, and if it isn't, then it's your fault because you build it the way you want it. They have dozens of toppings to choose from, which is nice, because you can try a different pizza each time. It is very affordable, I think about $8 for the MOD size pizza (11 inch). My only complaint is that it took awhile to get through the line. I was in there for about 35 minutes before I received my carry out pizza; however, it is worth the wait! My husband and I LOVE Mod! We go often after church on Wednesday evening. The place is well lit and comfortable. I love their options. We recently went to a competitor of theirs...needless to say that won't happen again. Mod has customers as long as they are in biz! The staff is VERY friendly, the food is delicious! I normally can not eat but one slice of my pizza that night so i get lunch for a few days after. It is good to the last bite. We also get the garlic cheese bread (which is the reason for only eating one piece that night). There is so much flavor, I didn't realize this wasn't standard with other restaurants! THEN THERE'S THE "NO NAME CAKES"!!! Yes the caps was needed! These things are heaven in foil! If you haven't tried one do yourself a favor and you better buy 2 so you'll have one for the next day! read more

I've been to MOD Pizza at a different location and it's pretty good. I wasn't happy with the customer service at this one though. My pizza was forgotten about in the oven and came out with a burnt crust and black bubbles. No biggie, it happens. What bothered me was how it was handled. Instead of the guy asking me if he could make me another pie he just cut off my crust and pulled out all the burnt bubbles. Da fuq? Crust is pivotal in pizza! I was in a rush or I would have asked for a new pizza but come on man, good service would be offering to make me a new one or at least apologizing for burning my pizza. Have heard great things about them from friends who have experienced them in St. Louis, so we were excited to check them out. My wife and son both have some dietary restrictions and the crew at MOD had no problem accommodating them. Try doing pizza with no dairy or gluten and you usually get bland cardboard...not here! I had a pizza with white sauce, pepperoni, bacon and beef. It was amazing. The portion size is generous, easily a pizza per person, but for someone like me...one pizza is two meals. Any kind of toppings you could want so either pick something off of their own or use your imagination and build one yourself. The staff were great, a lot of teamwork going on behind the counter and you move through the line quickly. Pizzas are done in a large brick oven so they don't take long. My only complaint would be seating. Options are limited so you're either going to have to wait for the kind of table you want, but ok with a big community table or standing at a bar next to the window.
