Many places offer similar type lamps but are either clunky, unoriginal or will make your wallet over $1,000 lighter. We found the one we've looking for at BoConcept. It's a furniture franchise originated in Denmark. The store in Vancouver is on the 2nd level of the building shared by Inspirations on the ground level of the building. It was slight confusing on our first visit because they are 2 separate businesses which share a common centre in-store stairwell. Service was good. Since the only one available was a floor model, we were offered a reasonable 10% discount. A good alternative to sleeker and more stylish Scandinavian furniture in town than the mothership from Sweden.

The thing that makes BoConcept different from just anywhere else is the service that we get (from Paul) and we also like that everything just works together. The look is clean and refined and the quality is quite good as well. We have had a few issues here and there but Paul and BoConcept (and Rick) have been there to help us take care of anything that needed fixing. It's also nice to have an actual designer come to your house to help you see if things will work etc. They will even come during the installation to ensure that things are aligned correctly etc. I would definitely recommend them (and Paul) to friends, and I have.

For asking my son : he can sit on the chair if he has money to buy and checked his shoes to let him on the bed: no he was not joking, David checked the sole of my son's shoes and clapped to ask him to get down the stool; my son felt angry after he left the store. I felt humiliated. The owner is shallow and miserable, I pity his childhood. Think before entering the place with kids. The products are bought from Italy, they don not own the manufacturing unit, it means you are paying double profit , first to the manufacturing unit and second to resource, that's the reason for hike in prices (double compared to other places).

We love it because we can use the room as an office, guest bedroom, or yoga room. Perfect for our small apartment. Their colour options worked perfectly with the rest of our furniture too (white with a green desk). It's really easy and smooth to open the bed or lift it back up even though we have a really heavy mattress on it. Keep in mind that since it's custom made in Italy, it takes a very long time for delivery (months. plural), but it's worth the wait if you want something this innovative and high quality. Also, make sure the mattress you buy isn't too thick to fit.

For example, there were less than 20 options for the cabinet design/colour/material, and they could not be customized that much. But again, the countertop had a massive selection and even though we selected a more basic/budget one, it worked out really well in the end. Their team handled the installation and heavy lifting (and I mean heavy, they lugged everything up a flight of stairs with no complaints). Would definitely go with them again in the future.

Our salesperson Andy was extremely patient and helpful to make sure I didn't make any mistakes. The installer came on time and did an excellent job. He was very precise and experienced. The armless sofa, I think it was the Leon, made a bit more sense in a condo. They're very eco focused, even recycling their customers' used sofas and the sofas are designed and made in Canada.
