I will say ever since this store has been under NEW management their K-Dogs have been nothing less than delicious. I don't like Donuts or Boba so I can't judge that but those K-Dogs are busssin. My personal favorite is the Elote mozzarella and the dog. No matter what it's delicious and my secondary pick has to be the potato dog. The man behind the counter is very outgoing and willing to make sure you're satisfied by the time you leave. It's a very small shop with only a couple tables and honestly that's just a vibe I like in a place like this. It's very welcoming and easy not feel uncomfortable. 11/10 I've been twice this week alone. read more

With so much potential to be the unique donut shop it aims to be, it just falls flat like under cooked dough. The establishment felt clean but hollow. No life, too little decor and the smallest assortment of donuts. I have gone many times and they NEVER have fruity flavors that mochi is known for and advertised on their website. Maybe 4-6 different kinds that all are caramel or chocolate. The prices are just too high for what you get too. Fun textures but no focus on the Asian flavors that make these creations what they are suppose to be. The service was just atrocious. And I mean BAD!! We were the ONLY people in the lobby with one sole employee that wouldn't even turn around to acknowledge us. Clearly she was working on a large order, however, how long would we have had her backed turned to us unless we spoke up? I will never know. We finally and politely said "excuse me". She only glanced over her shoulder and turned around again. Teenagers. Right? Ugh. So we politely said "we just want 1 donut, can you please help us" With a sigh she turned to face us and just stared. .... We made our order, she got our donut and then just looked at the machine in front of us as if to say with her dead eyes "you better leave me a tip" We didn't. We paid for our donut, with no word ever said to us, and left. Customer service is everything! You can have the best food in the world, but if you are treated with disrespect it becomes the worst food. With good service, a bad meal can be good. Be better Mochinut read more

It is so cool the Space Coast, specifically Viera and Melbourne, are getting restaurants that serve more niche foods. Pertaining to this realization, the latest in such is Mochinut Melbourne. Located just east of the Viera/Suntree exit of I-95, Mochinut Melbourne specializes in mochinuts, a hodgepodge impromptu mochi and donut. They also happen to serve boba teas and Korean hot dogs which they shorthand to K-dogs. The aforementioned should interest any foodie patrons on the Space Coast. It should also be noted that Mochinut Melbourne is technically a part of a chain with restaurants located in multiple areas in Central Florida. You'd think Mochinut Melbourne would gleam from their predecessors and this would be a smooth opening right? Wrong! And that seems to be their initial downfall at this moment. For starters, the wait time (when I was there with my friend Paula) was almost two hours. That is quite insane for a line the size I seen which is about ten people, many in groups of families or friends. How can the line be so slow? It is when you get inside you find out why the wait is ridiculously long. The flow of ordering and paying is so bad, no wonder people leave. As shown in my pic of the mochinut counter, there are two areas that seem like a place to order and a place to pay. You know where Paula and I ordered our food? The end of the line at the register? You serious? All this line length in front of the donut counter and they couldn't order-and-go from beginning to end? If they did such, they could get a start on boba teas and K-dogs and have them ready when patrons reach the end of the line where the register is. Just seems inefficient to order and pay at the end of the register with the layout they have. As for the rest of the ambiance, a lot of pink and two parts of the wall seem to have photo opportunities. There are some benches but they were fully occupied along with people standing around waiting for K-dogs to finish cooking and boba teas to finish making. In short: a lot of people were waiting around. Despite the unorganization, you'd think the mochinuts would be worth it, right? Well... yes and no. Firstly, all the mochinuts are technically plain mochinuts with a flavor decored upon them. For example, the blueberry mochinut is the plain mochinut with blueberry flavored icing and some form of blueberry fruit cuttings/pieces mixed into the icing. There are no mochinuts with the flavor baked into the mochinut or any with a flling inside such as Boston cream. Paula and I didn't even bother getting any boba teas or K-dogs because the wait was atrocious. Besides all the flaws, I must say the staff were very pleasant and a pleasure to talk to. It is not their fault they have to follow a procedure and protocol that constantly keeps them struggling to keep up with orders. I really hope the manager steps in and fixes the flow because I am sure they can adjust some things here and there to make the flow of work smoother for the workers as well as patrons ordering food. Ultimately, I am going to have to give Mochinut Melbourne an initial rating of two stars out of five. Since Mochinut Melbourne is technically part of a chain, I would expect more from them. I will return when they settle in more as well as try their K-dogs and boba teas. If they do better in a settled-down state, I will reconsider my initial rating. read more

I am confused as to why the reviews for this place are low? Not only are these donuts about way healthier than regular donuts but they taste super yummy. My favorite was the birthday cake flavor! I will definitely be back. The store is so clean and the staff is very nice and friendly. read more

Under new management!! The service and quality of the food was spectacular. Will recommend to everybody. Already making plans to go again.

Mochinut finally opened in my area. The much anticipated grand opening drew a crowd much bigger than I expected. The wait was long but once we got in the donuts were so enticing. They all looked good, so we got a medium box of 1/2 dozen so we could sample a few flavors. We tried the Chocolate and Caramel churro, chocolate dipped and the cherry funnel. They were all equally delicious in my book. We also ordered the potato Korean hot dog in half cheese half dog. The top part had a gooey cheese stick inside which was yummy and half way down the hot dog. But what makes the dogs special are the toppings. The outer portion is coated in little pieces of Potato. This is not your standard corn dog and the batter that surrounds the inside is different. Once you bite into it. It's fluffy and airy. Can see these being quite addictive. Next we ordered two boba. One coffee flavor and I had the peach/pineapple. The ordering system was quite unique in where you place your own order on a touch screen and as they prepare your items a tv/monitor on the wall alerts you when your items are ready. You also receive a text message while it's announced through a speaker system. This proved quite efficient with the number of people that were there. The only problem we had was the 1 hour wait for our Korean hot dogs after we received our donuts and boba. I am assuming there are a few kinks to work out in this as they make them to order. However the wait for that food item was over the top. They could use some bar top tables to hang out and consume your items or place your donut boxes while you wait for the hot dogs. Otherwise, everything tastes great and I would return when the popularity dies down a bit. read more

Quick Overview: 4/10 overall experience. There are no dine-in options at this time, pickup only so that does leave for the food to not be as hot when you eat it. Clean establishment. The food does take a while to be prepared, for what is assumed to be a type of fast food it did take over 20 minutes to receive my order. The food was worth trying once, but unfortunately I can not say I will be interested in returning in the future. Details Below: *I ordered 3 types of corn dogs, all half mozzarella/half hot dog and I ordered 2 donuts. [Potato Corndog]: 4/10. The potato's themselves were cut up French fries which unfortunately had zero flavor. Underneath the fries, the corndog was covered in panko. I was very surprised by the over all lack of flavor with this corndog, it did help to dip in spicy mayo or chili sauce. [Original Corndog]: 4/10. Out of the three I would say this was the best Corndog and unfortunately it was the most plain. It was okay but again lacked a lot of flavor. The most flavorful part was the salty/savory from the hotdog. A sauce does help. [Hot Cheetos Corndog]. 3/10. I didn't get "flaming hot Cheeto" from this corndog, it was not spicy at all. It was very soggy to eat compared to the other corndogs, it was not crispy at all. The overall flavor I would describe as a sour taste, almost like mustard. [MochiDonuts]: - Salted Caramel Donut: 9/10. This was so rich and flavorful, and the donut was very dense and pillowy! So good! However it is very very messy to eat. - Melon Donut: 6/10. The execution of this donut was spot on, however the rating is based on my opinion of taste. It tastes just like the sour candies put on top, so the glaze on the donut has the same gritty-sweet sugar on it. They definitely hit the nail on the head flavor wise, but it just was not for me. read more

I would love to give 3.5 stars. The interior is clean, bright, and cute but there are no tables. There are a couple benches but clearly you are meant to order and leave. This is what takes it down to three stars. The employees were nice and cheerful though so that was good. Almost everyone in there seemed to only order mochinuts and boba. Don't get me wrong the mochinuts are good but the corn dogs are so yummy. The hot Cheeto corn dog was a family favorite along with the potato corn dog. The half and half cheese and hot dog was just too cheesy for me but it was delicious and if you love mozzarella sticks this is way better. There were only six flavors available which was disappointing. The mochinut in Kissimmee had a larger flavor variety. Overall I will absolutely go again. read more

Food: Doughnuts all taste the same. K-dogs...the cheese only one is best, the hotdog is gross. The Thai tea was just milk with chunky whipped cream on top. (Took a couple sips and threw the rest out) Service: Fair, dry, gets the job done. Ambiance: Well the "office" somehow has made its way to the front of the store. Literally removable accordion divider sections off the back half (right in front of the register) of the store. There are stacks of papers overflowing the "office" area and a older woman (I can only assume the owner) "working" there. She doesn't greet customers, she says nothing....its just odd. The back, right before the kitchen looks to be stuffed with stuff....literal hoarding! Makes me wonder when they last had an inspection... no way what I saw would pass. All in all: Go for a cheese k-dog....that is it! Super disappointing experience. read more

I was so happy to see a Mochinut open in this area! I've been to many locations around the US and always get my raspberry funnel cake mochinut fix when I find one. This location was not bad but not the best. I got a set of three mochi donuts (raspberry funnel cake, Nutella, cookies & cream). I noticed they seemed a bit wet and felt undercooked compared to the others I've had in the past. There was also a really strong oil flavor. Not sure if I received a bad batch? I was a bit disappointed in the taste if I'm being honest since it was not consistent with the other locations. I also got a milk tea which was good... just a bit on the sweeter side. I didn't notice any options to change the sweetness level on the drinks. I think that would be a great option to have if not already implemented. The service was fast, inside was clean, no tables but they have a bench where you can sit and wait for your order. read more

Save your money, save your time. 20 minute wait for a hot dog in a place that doesn't offer seating. Only one other person in like in front of me. Ramen 1/2 and 1/2 hot dog was good but the hot dog was chewy and hard to bite through. Staff was immature when it came to customer interaction and weren't informing customers in line what was out of stock until they got to the register to order (some people with a 10+ minute wait just to order). Not stocked or prepped well enough to have the product for the demand (donuts, potato hot dogs, Ube boba, Mango drink, tapioca boba, etc). Their reasoning is that they're rationing for their next inventory delivery... read more

I waited in the line the second week it was open. I saw many donuts in the cases but, when I was about the 4th person in line they said the donuts are sold out. I went back another day and they were sold out again. They know they have customers they need to stock up and be prepared. I saw today they don't open till 1pm. The other day the lady didn't show up till after 3. How can you run a business with crazy hrs and low stock. Donut shops usually open early so people can stop and get donuts for work. Maybe they can open early and sell donuts then around 11 start selling the dogs. Get it together or this business will not make it a year read more

Just open so its extremely busy. One Kiosk to order so it does take some time. If you order the dogs its going to be a bit of a wait since they can only cook so much at a time and its made hy order. Donuts is first come first serve kinda thing so if they're out they're out. So what you see on the counter is what they have unless they haven't brought it out yet. We been here three times and I still haven't been able to get the UBE flavor since it's a hit. The mochi donuts is delicious and was everything I hope for. The Korean dogs was also great. We got the half and half and it was a perfect combo. Also try the boba drinks there and its def. NOT it. I had better boba elsewhere. A bit of a drive for us but the mochi donuts is what get me coming back. I hope they work out their kinks and get things working more smoothly and a less wait time for the k dogs. read more

I went here after they first opened and their corn dogs were under cooked, raw batter. I said I wouldn't return, but being the only place of its kind in the area, I was really hoping they had gotten it together. Again, the hot dogs take absolutely forever, and they leave something to be desired. The batter tastes off. I just don't know what it is. read more

Finally! Finally, we have a mochinut in our area. I no longer need to drive one hour away to Orlando just to get mochi donuts and Korean corn dogs. Since opening we have already been three times. The line is definitely long as this place is much anticipated. I'm sure it's gonna start settling down within the next couple weeks. The donuts are definitely delicious and chewy. So different than normal donuts. I can even say that they are Dessert donuts. Love the corn dogs and the fact that they actually have the different flavors and toppings like hot Cheetos and Ramen on it. The portions are definitely very generous. Love me some mozzarella dog. Love some Boba milk teas as well. This is going to be Go to spot for us. I will be fat! read more

Waited in line for 30 minutes outside, then 15 inside. I was so excited to try this place but was not waiting an additional 20 minutes for a corndog, so I got Boba and doughnuts. D-I-S-S-A-P-O-I-N-T-E-D. The texture of the mochinuts was fine. I kind of liked it, but they tasted like the oil that they were fried in was old. Don't get me started on how awful the boba was. They should put a disclaimer that the coffee is made from Instant Coffee that they got at the dollar store and it expired 5 years ago. I don't know what awful purple liquid they put in my "Ube" boba before they handed it to me, but I have never had Ube boba that made me physically gag before. The staff was very friendly and sweet, but seriously, who is running this place? It's a self-service kiosk, so why are people having to wait an hour for you to box some doughnuts? The whole process needs great improvement. Seems like whoever is running this place has little to no experience. I won't be back. read more

Love the corn dogs and the mochi donuts. They had recently opened in the beginning of the year and they have definitely improved their atmosphere because I've gone several times and have noticed the progress. I'm not quite sure where to begin with my experience at this establishment. During their grand opening week, I visited and waited over 40 minutes for my order, which consisted of a hot Cheetos Korean corndog and a brown sugar boba milk tea. While the food was okay in taste, it was slightly cold. Given that it was their opening week and the staff appeared nice but generally overwhelmed, I didn't mind the delay and attributed it to the stress of a new opening. However recently, after the initial hype had died down, I decided to give them a second chance. This time, I ordered a maple bacon donut and a churro donut. Unfortunately, both were soggy and almost stale, with the maple donut tasting plain disgusting. My tea was fine, though nothing particularly special. What was most disappointing, however, was the change in service. Instead of the friendly but overwhelmed staff from my first visit, I was greeted by a blonde woman who seemed to have an attitude, as though I had inconvenienced her. Overall, my second experience was far from satisfactory. Despite trying to give them another chance, the combination of subpar food, lackluster service, and high prices makes it difficult to recommend. For a better Korean corndog , I would suggest visiting the location in Merritt Island, which offers a better experience overall. read more

horrible drinks threw away, one sip and down the garbage, waste of money, uncooked boba and also very slow service

The service was great. Since it was our first time there they explained the menu to us and the different options available. We ordered our food, potato half cheese half hotdog corn dog and a mochinut ( cotton candy flavored) . We sat down at a table and waited for our corn dog to come out and enjoyed the music as we waited. We definitely loved the corn dog which comes with dipping sauce. We chose spicy mayonnaise as the dipping sauce. We loved the stretchy cheese of the corn dog. The mochinut is something special. The mochi middle makes the donut. read more

Purchased each of 6 available MOCHINUTs. The best flavor was the blueberry & the guava. The caramel & chocolate was my least favorite, too sweet. Also purchased the hot Cheetos half n half hot dog. It was OK. The flavor was good but it was very greasy. When I picked it up out of the box, the oil dribbled onto my pants. However, the oil didn't taste old. Lastly, the matcha boba tea was also just ok. It was 1 hour from the time arrived til I received my whole order. Worth trying 1 time but I wouldn't return to this location. read more

Large crowd waiting for hot dogs that took over 45 minute wait. Too expensive for one donut and milk tea that also was much too sweet. Staff not overly pleasant and place looked in disarray. First and last time coming here. Going on 45 minutes plus wait time. Never again. There are no tables and need to stand waiting on food.

Not good.... Greasy and made me sick! Gooey in a bad way, like not fully cooked way... maybe they are just new and will get better ?

We saw this place thinking it would be nice but it was so strange. The people working there acted like they had no idea what was going on and were just awkwardly standing around while people were sitting and waiting for their order. It was like they decided to start making the orders once more people walked in. They kept the boba in a crockpot just sitting on the counter and all of the teas in random pitchers over ice. It was not very appetizing and it looked like they only had enough money to open the store but not enough to purchase proper supplies for it. The mochi donuts were stale and we spent $18 on two drinks and a single donut. I wanted to get a refund once I saw the crockpot and as I was standing there reading reviews. It was a complete waste of money. We took one sip of our drinks and threw them away because we were just grossed out. Don't give this place a try it was so awkward being in there and everything was gross to top it all off. I imagine it is not very sanitary either. read more
