Such a great first impression. The wait was short, maybe 10 minutes on a Saturday morning. I ordered the French toast with egg whites and hot chocolate. Zero complaints. Okay, maybe the eggs could've been seasoned better lol. Also, I wasn't sure if they were actual egg whites vs. liquid from the carton... My partner enjoyed his omelette! My mom enjoyed her pancakes!!! She did not enjoy her eggs. Again, not sure about the eggs. Service was great, attentive and warm. Ambiance was welcoming. I don't line in Florida, but I'd definitely return if I pass through again.

I had the seafood omelette that was scrumptious!!! I usually never finish a meal but I had every morsel. My son had eggs, hash browns, bacon and pancakes. Where does he put it all? They don't take reservations but we were there so early there was no problem. I had my usual eggs Benedict with their home fries. The home fries are delicious. Slices and fried and flavorful. The Benedict was also delicious. The women in the group ordered various omelets and pancakes. A few ordered the fruit bowl with a side of eggs. The bowls were filled with fruit. The 3 egg omelets were big so a few of the women took home leftovers. I highly recommend Keke's. You won't be disappointed. I didn't take pictures this time.

Delicious Home Cooking and Super Friendly Staff!…read more I'm so glad we visited for Breakfast on a Wednesday morning in February. The place was crowded, so we knew the food would be good, and it certainly was. The coffee was fresh and hot and our Waitress, Dawn, made us feel right at home. She was super friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated with whimsical signs. I love Corned Beef Hash and I always enjoy a good omelette. In all my years, I'd never seen a "Corned Beef Hash Omelette." When I saw it on the menu, I knew I had to try it! I ordered the 3-egg omelette for only $1 more than the 2-egg. I ordered hash browns with onions and a biscuit as my sides. I also added a side of sausage gravy. The omelette and the hash browns were delicious! I would definitely order that again. The biscuit was good, and it paired perfectly with the rich sausage gravy. The gravy also paired well with the omelette. My wife enjoyed her French Toast. The serving was large and the food was tasty. She mentioned that the French Toast was a bit thin and she would have liked it better if the bread had been a bit thicker. My friend ordered chocolate chip pancakes and he raved about them. His bacon was a cooked perfectly. Mickey's is the restaurant you think of when you want a home cooked breakfast. The fresh food is homemade, tasty, and filling. We hope to visit again soon. I highly recommend Mickey's Restaurant and I strongly suggest you find a way to order a side of their delicious sausage gravy!

He was kind enough to give me complimentary potatoes w my breakfast sandwich since I guess I opted out of the meat. But regardless still a much appreciated gesture. The younger gentleman that was waiting on tables was great as well. My biscuit was one of the best I have ever had eating out. Buttery, crispy on the outside, soft & fluffy on the inside. Last one I've tried else where tasted like it had freezer burn but this tasted fresh hot out the oven. My eggs were buttery smooth, not too over done, & I added hollandaise sauce & that was perfection. It was so dang good, I ordered the same thing but to-go for breakfast the next morning. And he continued to give me the complimentary potatoes which those were heavenly. The inside looks just like a blast from the past diner w some cool historical memorabilia. I also like the large windows w the tables against them for the natural light to come thru. Have been a resident of Fort Pierce for years, but this is the first time I ate here. The first…read morething our waiter said to us was you know there's an 18% gratuity added. Literally instead of a hello We had already been told this by the hostess as she seated us and considering they've got it on the menu as well as at the table in big letters, I'm assuming this is a problem for most people. It is for me. I will usually tip even at lunch 25% for good service but when the management is forcing me to pay 18%, whether the service is good or not, then that's what I'm going to pay. Management is not doing their wait staff any favors. I took a star off for that. As far as the food, I was pleasantly surprised. I had fried green tomatoes and the fish and chips. My niece had a smash burger. She says hers was excellent. The fried green tomatoes were literally the best I've ever had. Which is saying a lot because I love this appetizer and will usually order it in any southern restaurant. The fish and chips were also good but not great. The fish was tender, and the breading was crispy and not too soggy, but it was not perfectly crispy. The french fries were lacking in flavor and chewy. But basically the food was good and the service was satisfactory but not great. But I will be back to try other items on the menu -/ if you're setting the bar for an 18% tip then that saves the customers a lot of money when they would usually do 25 to 30%. When I see this in a restaurant, it tells me that the management does not want to dip in their profits to give their employees health insurance, but depends on the customer to do it for them.

This time, we came to celebrate my friend's birthday dinner. Our server was as sweet as could be, and the entertainer, Curtis, absolutely made the night. He was so interactive with us, took song requests, and we were joking throughout the night. We requested a couple of songs, and he did an amazing job. The bartender also made us some fun shots that added to the celebration. Unfortunately, my food experience wasn't nearly as enjoyable. I had spent the day at a friend's event where there was plenty of food, including Vicky's (which is always delicious). By the time I met everyone for dinner about an hour and a half later--after stopping at Boston's for a drink--I really wasn't very hungry. I specifically asked for a small salad with meatballs because I just wanted something light. Instead, a large salad was brought to the table. I immediately mentioned it to our server, explaining that I had ordered the small salad because I wouldn't be able to finish a large one. She said she would adjust it. About 15 minutes later, the meatballs arrived, and they were almost impossible to eat. They were so tough that I couldn't even cut them with my knife. At one point, I was literally pounding on one with my fork against the plate because it was hard as a rock. The waitress came over horrified of this experience and said she would remove it off the bill. I'm not here trying to get a free meal. I just want a good meal and something I actually ordered. The waitress did remove the meatballs from my bill, which I appreciated. However, I was still charged for the large salad even though I had ordered a small one and pointed out the mistake as soon as it arrived. I barely made a dent in it and ended up taking most of it home. Aside from the disappointing food and billing issue, we still managed to have a great evening thanks to Curtis. His energy, talent, and interaction completely changed the atmosphere and honestly saved the experience. If it hadn't been for him, my rating would have been much lower.
